full price«assessment» session produced no feedback, plan, or review of lengthy requisite form, but i optimistically agreed to schedule some private sessions as suggested. i had moved to the area a few weeks before and ready to resume practice of work started in socal. overnight decided instruction style(more dogma than description, example, or feedback) was not for me — only to learn from credit card company i had been charged 460 rather than 85. tried one more session, cancelled next one late — too uncomfortable to go back. when informed later i would not be returning and wanted a refund for balance, was denied and lectured a bit. dumbfounded. like all pilates enthusiasts i am committed to continuing to learn and improve, not here though.

Mark Klein reeled me back in to Pilates after more than a year away from the program, and I was thrilled when he opened his studio in the midtown area. The studio is clean and well-equipped, and Mark is a thoughtful and skilled coach. Patient, too! After only a few weeks of his program, I am already more fit and balanced. His schedule of classes allows me to work the sessions into my crazy schedule. I am not an athlete or a fitness buff, but Mark makes Pilates work for me and I highly recommend his studio.

Mark is a serious Pilates coach – he is all about precision, form, and creating strength. I have been to several studios and can honestly say this is different – he is as committed to my core strength, posture, flexibility, and fitness, as I am! This studio isn’t a mix of TRX or yoga poses, this is true Pilates – Joseph Pilates would be proud.
