Subway

Dropped by 2 minutes till close. I was graciously served by Jass and Ravneet closed me out at the register. Young folks with excellent customer service (5 star), 2– 12 inch spicy Italian sands made with care for 2 hearty eaters (5 star). Thank you Jass for paying attention to detail, listening and not sending me home with a sandwich that leaves me hungry. Very satisfying meal and conversations. Thank you both!

Something about fresh veggies and flies that just don’t mix. Get rid of the flies! Not hygienic… simply gross! Subway saved the day though when Panera messed up our order. Subway was out of several options we wanted (no cranberry sauce for the turkey sandwich, etc). Settled on the chicken teriyaki– actually wasn’t bad! It’s always disheartening to digest when you see flies hanging around the making of your sandwich though. Dirty bathrooms are a turn off too. What’s up Subway?! This location does not accept coupons via phone, another turn off. Pro’s for the outdoor seating and hot bread. Skip this and try another place that has better Unilocal ratings… unless you like flies.

Poor customer service, skimpy on toppings. Asked for lots of spinach, but bare got any. Asked for cucumber, got 4 slices. Then sub wasn’t toasted yet got taxed extra as hot food.

Just went by with a coupon. Upon arrival, I noticed they had signs posted saying no coupons. So I showed my buy one, get one coupon to the employee before ordering. She confirmed that their store does not honor Subway promotions.
However, she said, they had a local promotion where I could order a regular 6″ sub and get one of the same, free. Although it would be two 6″ subs instead of foot long, I agreed and ordered.
She took out the bread and started making the sandwiches. Then stopped. I had been standing there quietly, not saying a word. She told me (again) they don’t take coupons. I told her that I know. This isn’t a coupon. I reminded her that it’s what she told me to order, instead of the coupon.
She then got another woman — possibly her mother, to come over. That woman told me that if I ordered two foot long (regular) subs, the third sub would be free. I asked her if they were making all these rules up as we went along (spontaneously).
I declined to order two foot longs (plus a third). This was just becoming too bizarre. But I did ask what other Subway restaurants share the same management. She told me that the one on Arena is by the same owners, but did not know about the one in the Raley’s shopping center, just down Del Paso Road, so I’m assuming that one isn’t part of their group.
Later, when I went online to write this review, I noticed that other Unilocalers were saying good things about the Raley’s center Subway, specifically that it accepts coupons. So from now on, I know which Subway to head to.
Don’t know how everyone else feels, but I don’t like going to store to buy something advertised on sale, to be told that they aren’t honoring the sale price. I think the practice is short sighted and, in the long run, they are hurting their business alienating customers this way.

Horrible service, extremely rude. One of the workers there tried charging me for something I didn’t even order. The sandwich didn’t even look good to me anymore after she was done making it. Their service was horrible. I am never going to this subway, ever again!

Halfway through her making my sandwich I was tempted to tell her I didn’t want it anymore. Extremely rude, unfriendly service. Had to repeat myself multiple times and they didn’t have the two breads I asked for, when asked what they did have she was extremely rude. Ridiculous!

Very, very UNFRIENDLY! ! Will never go back to this location! I love Subway! This location is not a very good representation of several other Sacramento locations! BLEHHH

Neli and Nav… Great Customer sevice but most of they make Great Sandwiches… We eat here at least 3 times a week…

I go to this subway pretty regularly and have always been pleased with my food and service. I’ve gotten to know the people who work there a little bit which I like. Overall a good place to go for lunch break from work!

Busy, but good service. Wow, $ 2 customer appreciation 6″ sandwiches. Limited with toppings but you just can’t eat that inexpensively.

Wow, these guys are stingy. Two little tiny pieces of meat, half slices of cheese and 40 pounds of veggies. Not to mention they got my order all wrong because they don’t pass the orders down the line.

Usually I would think well subway is subway your always going to get the same thing. I’ve received very poor service probably all 6 times I have eaten here. I would recommend just going to one of the other 2 in Natomas they always have far better service.

I haven’t been to this Subway since my last review, but I re-​read my review. It seems as if I had very high expectations. And I should understand that things do happen, however, this women did seem pretty irritated to meet my demands (as some others have mentioned).

TERRIBLE Subway. The rudest people work there, the lady looked at me like I was stupid just because I asked if they had $ 5 footlongs! Do not eat here, it was dirty. They also didn’t have any bread made only had wheat. She gave me a attitude because I said I wanted Italian herb and cheese bread. Definitely don’t recommend. Go to the one across from Arco Arena by papa johns (right around the corner)

Worst Subway ever. Dirty. Dirty. Dirty. Tables are filthy. Floors are filthy. The owner? –was eating at a table right next to me. It’s obvious they don’t care about sanitation. Sandwiches skimpy. I just had a hot pastrami so full of fat and sinew, I threw it out. I’m done here. Bleh. Took my bag out to find the receipt to complain. No receipt. I paid cash. Skip this dive. (note: I got on the corporate website to report these guys. Comments are forwarded to the owners — so good luck with that. We’ll see if Subway does anything)

The food was okay, but that is due more to the fact that they are a Subway franchise and that constructing a sandwich being guided step by step by the patron takes pretty much any mystery out of properly serving the customer. The problem is that each step of the way we felt like we were inconveniencing them for having the nerve to have come in at all and ask to have the ingredients you request placed on the bread. I’ve been there, customer service, but when a customer is polite and relaxed and the order is straightforward and simple, one would think that it shouldn’t be a battle every step along the way.
«Yes, please, I would like oil and vinegar, thank you. Oh, sorry, I said I DID want that. Wait, wait, I DO want oil and vinegar. Yes. Please. Thank you.» Repeat. And it’s one thing to not feel like smiling all the time and that’s really quite all right with me, but please don’t appear to hate me when I step up to place my order if I have said literally zero words since walking in.
I will not be going back to this Subway, and my wife really likes Subway.

This subway location is going on my list of places I’m not going to again !
Terrible customer service
They also don’t give enough meat on the sandwiches so bad I had to ask her to give me more because the chicken didn’t even go end to on on mu footlong.
The ladies working were laughing at the customers they were serving in there language so you couldn’t understand the bad talk they had to say .
So yeah never go to this place not worth it save your money

Last night I went for a Subway run at 9pm and I called this location because it is closer to my home. The lady told me they closed at 10pm. It took me about 5 – 10 minutes to get there (9:15pm) and the lady had already closed up and was telling another customer that pulled up, directions to another Subway. UNBELIEVABLE! If you wanted to close up shop early you should’ve told me the correct time on the phone that way I’m not wasting my time coming here and now have to drive to the other side of town to a Subway that is OPEN! Never coming here again.

I think this one is pretty good among subways. I only came here once at ~5pm so maybe I had a more pleasant visit than others.
It was empty, of course, like most subways around this time. It was clean like any other subway. There was just one guy working in the front, and he was pretty nice. He was very soft spoken and I had to ask him to repeat what he was asking a few times throughout the order, but he wasn’t rude or providing bad service. I guess I got lucky and didn’t have to face the pissed off woman other reviewers dealt with.
The lettuce was nice and fresh. Perhaps still fresh from lunch rush, but many times I stare at the lettuce bin and see too much brownish reddish color and have to go with spinach. I asked for extra onions and he gave what one would actually consider extra. More often than not, ppl put 4 teeny slices on a foot long and when i ask for more they give another 2 – 3 more. We then go into onion war mode and see who lasts longer: the Onion Queen or the Onion Guardian. I didn’t have to do this at this location. I shall save my strength for another time.
This one opens at 7 so I may come back in the morning before work, but is a little out of the way so maybe not.

Everything was fresh and made to order conveniently located across from the Powers Balance Pavillion; quick stop to eat prior to the Sade featuringt John Legend concert I HEART!!!
Grilled chicken sandwich;chipotle mayo, toasted, with all the trimmings. oh so good.
This is one of the best Subways I have tried, the rstaurant is clean, and friendly service.
