This particular location is amaaaaziiiing. I drive past the one by my house to go to this one. The menu is huge and it never disappoints.

The customer service here is very helpful! I had came in here last year with a friend and was ordering a veggie sandwich and the Cashier pointed to a big Black Board that they have on the side and helped me select a veggie sandwich from the board. It turned out to be a very, very good sandwich with some sort of delicious sauce! I like this location much better then the one in Downtown! And it’s a big enough place to sit and eat inside. I would def recommend this location

You wanna get down with the get down? You want warm buns, cold buns, warm meat, cold meat, or soft meat? You want to get saucy or spread… that cream cheese or bomb spicy sauce all over one of the countless creative sandos here?!? If you like sandwiches… any sandwich… they have it. Not going to find a place with more options than this joint. You like multiple different types of meat on the same sandwich? You want a variety of flavors, veggies, or unique things not available on artisan creations the vast majority of time? Start driving… or walking if you are at Sac City College. This place is the more sophisticated, classier, tastier, better looking sibling of Subway… and with way better… fuller buns. No matter the sandwich… you select the bread… there is no pre– determined option. You will not leave hungry. If you are the petite type… take that second half and twice love it for dinner. Get ready to ponder your second trip back the moment the first trip ends. Gosh golly gee willickers!

A great small traditional sandwich shop. Read the normal condiment list carefully before ordering as they will be included on any sandwich, even if it comes with own sauce etc.

I’ve been going to this particular spot for around 2 years now and they’ve always seemed to meet my expectations. today on the other hand, they let me down. midway through my sandwich, I found an actual bug,(dead of course), but still like… really? just wash your lettuce people. I also found a hair stuck to my banana pepper. totally grossed me out. everything about it. I would love to continue coming back to this location but it’s going to be very hard for me if they continue to be so carefree about the food they let their customers eat.

Been coming here since they first opened and I crave these sandwiches all the time! My go-to is the #16 with extra bomb sauce! Super convenient being next to my school and near home. The other location on Q street is amazing as well. The chili is .

This place is to die for! They’re sandwiches are so flavorful and fresh. It never disappoints! The staff is always so friendly and quick. Plus you get a stamp card and when you fill it up, you get a free sandwich. I always get the King’s Court and it’s delicious every time! If you haven’t tried The Sandwich Spot yet, you’re missing out!

The sandwiches are bomb! The service is excellent. They also sell beer, so if you like a beer with your sandwich, that is an option.

I prefer the one downtown… This location has gotten less friendly and more ghetto! I don’t need to hear ghetto music when I’m trying to relax, not comforting! The location is very dirty… I mean REALLY dirty! Unprofessional. I won’t be coming back to this location anymore

Okay so this place was great. I came here with a couple of my amigos and I would definitely come back. Service was fast, cashier was friendly, and the sandwich was amazing(the most important part). The bomb sauce was, uh, bomb. My only regret is not getting the Dutch crunch bread,(didn’t even think about it, I know I’m ridiculous) but I will be back so I’ll get it then. 5 stars!

HAVEAGAIN: The bodyguard sandwich on Dutch crunch was excellent. Also, excellent and friendly service. Very nice place. NOTHAVEAGAIN: The grilled gorgonzola cheese with sun-dried tomatoes and humus was interesting, but I did not care for it probably because the tomatoes were too tough.

I must say the customs service was awesome and the restaurant was very clean. Great lil patio outside as you walk up. The young lady at the register was very cool and had a Great sense of humor as I told her that I needed my sandwich to be «Made with Love» due to the fact I had looked at the pictures over the weekend and had a dream about eating a sammie and it was delish! Sooo… yeah i’m going to need for it to meet the expectations that I had from my dream! lol I chose the Pesto Presto with Swiss in Dutch Crunch and girlfriend behind the counter recommended sundried tomatoes as I was thinking roasted red bell peppers… Duh, that does pair better with pesto. Nonetheless it was«A pretty tasty sandwich», I must say the bread was one of the tastiest Dutch Crunch rolls I’ve had… It all came together very very well. Now the chicken was lacking flavor but still good. Yep… I’ll be back!

As my English Writing class at Sacramento City College is over today on 10/12/2015, my stomach is growling very loud, so I decided to go to The Sandwich Spot just right next door from college. Located at Freeport Blvd and 11th Avenue, this sandwich shop delivers the finest sandwich creations which it’s inspired for portions of the Sacramento neighborhood area(i.e. Curtis Park, Land Park, Hollywood Park etc.) I’ve been to Roseville TSS location twice few weeks ago, but I haven’t dined in nor carry out here in my hometown, so I gotta come to that place for a try. As I entered, the atmosphere and concept is very friendly and elegant. The room size is small compared to Dads on J in Downtown. The décor is old school, yet it did kept some good parts on it like brick walls on the left, fantastic artwork inside their restroom, and an amazing outdoor patio seating too. The employees have done a great job for making the customers like me an outstanding service! The cashier, Rebecca is such a sweet lady who gives good recommendations and suggestions before I ordered. No cons at all. For my food choice, I ordered their specialty sandwich, the«Yo Daddy O’» which it contains three protein slices: turkey, ham, and roast beef along with my choice of bread(wheat bread is my choice,) and the rest of the ingredients from my choice of cheese, sweet peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, onions etc. So far, as I ate it, that sandwich is remarkably good! The three meats tasted very well as I can feel the roast beef’s flavors on it. Everything for that sandwich is very fresh and clean. Not a bad sandwich at all! The parking can be closely difficult to park. You can park it at the surface street parking, or near the mini park between 10th and 11th Avenues if it’s available. Otherwise, you can ride a bike, walk, or use public transportation easier without the hassles. All in all, The Sandwich Spot at 11th Avenue and Freeport Blvd is the greatest sandwich shop ever that I’ve visited. Perfect for friends/family gatherings and lunch breaks for office employess too. A well, worthy visit! My rating: 4 solid stars.

Is a review really necessary? Come on its THE sandwich SPOT. If you have been here before you know what’s up and if you haven’t going is a must. I have been going here ever since they opened up next to City and have never had a sandwich I didn’t love. Not only do they have amazing sandwiches, they also serve gluten free organic chips and soda. Besides the obviously great sandwiches. Their staff are a great group of individuals. The art work in this location is really amazing stuff I have considered buying(but you know broke college student probs). Oh and the downtown location is pretty cute too, it’s in like a house. Let’s review: –good food –great staff –great location What more can you ask for? Thank you sandwich spot for doing food right! — Hendrix

For as long as I have lived in Sac, I never knew this place existed until my friend took me here last week. My goodness! The sandwiches are amazing! I forgot the name of my sandwich, but it had pesto sauce in it and it was delicious! The sandwiches are pretty big; I was only able to finish one and a half of my sandwich. They have a lot of different sandwiches to choose from. Lots of variety with different kind of meats, bread and sauces. Definitely a go to place if you’re looking to get a quick sandwich.

I had the Hollywood Park Sandwich here– which is essentially Turkey, avocado, cream cheese all smothered with their proprietary bomb sauce(ranch with a kick), on a Dutch crunch roll. It was simply amazing. Split it with my wife as it is quite large and they are very generous with the meat. This is definitely a hidden gem of the area, if you’re looking for a quick, casual, yet tasty bite– make sure to stop by here. You won’t regret it. Just make sure you don’t miss it, as it is semi hidden in residential area!

I finally made it to the Sandwich Spot after living in the area for a few years and purchasing my sandwiches elsewhere. I’m so glad I did because the sandwiches here are great! The Sandwich Spot has a variety of items to choose from, so you’re bound to find something you’ll enjoy. Everything is very fresh and delicious, including the bread. The staff is friendly and helpful in answering questions. There’s also plenty of seating inside if you want to stay and enjoy your meal or you can take it across the street to Cervantes Park for a picnic. I’ll definitely be back.

After seeing a photo of the Steves Club sandwich and reading some reviews I decided to give this place a try. My girlfriend got the number 16. I got the steves club sandwich. The sandwiches were very nice sized and the staff was friendly and informative about the bread. Yeah, The place has young students scattered about and some have that youthful«loudness» but a very solid sandwich place nonetheless. Also they have a nice outdoor seating area. P. S. no alcohol sold here haha X·P

On Saturday, 12÷27÷14, I hit up The Sandwich Spot near Sac City College for lunch. I’ve been to The Sandwich Spot in San Carlos(Bay Area) and I have to say they have some delicious tasty sandwiches. Since I was in Sacramento I had to hit The Sandwich Spot up. Atmosphere/Décor: They have an outdoor eating section located in front with a few tables to sit at. There were about 8 to 10 tables to sit at inside. I liked the two large boards that were hanging up on the wall which listed all of their sandwiches. The Sandwich Spot is way more put together than your average sandwich chain place such as subway or togos. This Sandwich Spot was nice. Perfect place for college students or to hit up with anyone. Food: I wanted to try a different sandwich rather than the one I tried at the San Carlos location so I decided to go with the Papa’s Pastrami with jack cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, mayo, bomb sauce, pickles on the side on a french roll. This sandwich was excellent! The pastrami was very lean, tender and flavorful. The bomb sauce was totally ! I love their bomb sauce! All of the condiments were fresh and complimented the pastrami. The french roll was warm, fresh and soft. This is definitely one of the better breads I’ve eaten at a sandwich place. Service: The guy that took my order was really nice and had a great attitude. It took me a while to finally decide what type of cheese I wanted on my sandwich. I was at the cash register pondering for a few minutes. The guy that took my order patiently waited then suggested pepper jack cheese cause he prefers pepper jack on this particular sandwich. I said I was thinking about that but I’ll go with jack cheese instead. He then said good choice. Overall: The Sandwich Spot is definitely one of my favorite places to get a sandwich from. It’s definitely in my top 3. The sandwiches are delicious, fresh and very tasty! You really can’t go wrong with any sandwich. If you’re in the area I’d highly recommend hitting up The Sandwich Spot! You’re in for a treat! Oh yeah, make sure to get bomb sauce on your sandwich. It’s insanely good!

I ordered the good day sacramento sandwich made protein style with large lettuce leaf wraps instead of bread. This sandwich is made with hot turkey, salami, pepper jack, and bomb sauce. So here’s the riff: The good Day Sacramento sandwich with lettuce leaf wrap is quite delicious. On the other hand, however, the cost is not easy on the wallet by any means. My thoughts are that if you are living on a budget this may not be the place for you. I paid $ 7.99 plus tax and I did not get a drink or any side orders. The ambience: This is a cozy little restaurant with outdoor patio seating located in Curtis Park. And you really can’t go wrong with that. That said, I suppose if you’re not concerned with economics, and you like Curtis Park, this would be a great place to eat.
