Food was good. Waitress was friendly and nice. $ 4 for a beer at the bar but $ 8 at the table. Glad we got a few while we waited for our party to arrive. While we waited at the bar, my husband saw someone eating chicken wings that looked amazing. We didn’t see them on our menu once we sat down. We asked if we could get a couple of orders along with the 6 other appetizers we were having in addition to our meals. Our waitress had to go and ask. We were told NO. What?!? Really! The table area was not very busy and we could not see a reason for them saying no. It wasn’t like we were taking up a table on a busy night to drink beer and eat wings. We all ordered full meals and an appetizer/salad each. I don’t get it and won’t be going back mainly because of this!

Had to come here after a great first impression at the second location in Montauk. Not as great of an experience at this location but food was once again UNBEATABLYAMAZING! Went here during on a weekend(mid-Sept) this year(2015) to celebrate my Mom’s birthday. This location has been cursed to never hold a business for longer than a season or two so I wish them luck. The interior would remind you of a tropical island with a touch of romance. There’s an aquarium in the middle of the bigger salon with high ceilings and dim lighting. Window doors were open to let in some of the light breeze which was nice. Our waitress was ok, nothing special. She seemed a bit preoccupied which was a bit silly since it wasn’t busy for a Saturday night. The food was fresh, perfectly seasoned and presented. Only thing I’ll say as a message of warning: the Lobster Mac n Cheese is although savory and delicious, way too big for one person. Even sharing it, as an appetizer you will get full and won’t be hungry enough to eat the better entrees. This wouldn’t be such a problem but you need to know this so you don’t get so full before the main course. I would advise asking the wait staff for their recommendation on wine since both here and in MTK it was right on track with what we ordered. Both locations are pricey so make sure you save up! *Price levels to quality of food.

I love this spot in Sag Harbor because the brunch menu also has a really nice lunch selection too. Food is always good and it’s really not too expensive considering the area and their typical prices. You can sit in the lounge area at the bar, inside, or outside.

Love the setting here. Beautiful fireplace and seating area by the bar, illuminating fish tanks dividing the dining area. The scallop Mac and Cheese is to die for. Don’t let the portion fool you, this stuff is so filling — Definitely enough for two. Love the Prix Fixe they offer during the off season.

Grabbed tables outside Friday night. You need to order at the bar but they bring the food to you. They don’t have particularly good bar/sharing food options, but there food was good… and pricey. The steak entrée was delicious and cooked perfectly. The tuna entrée was cooked perfectly(as rare as possible), tender and flavorful. As for their app options, Their fried oysters came in 3 pieces and was also good. The tuna tartar app was pretty small but also good. The meatball app was one giant meatball but flavorful. The scallop Mac and cheese was dry and not that great, but I loved their seafood cake!

My friend and I came here while in town for a play. I had noticed the good reviews on Unilocal.after having very little to eat all day, I was excited to find somewhere open after 10pm and still serving dinner. The service was fast and our waitress, Chloe was super nice and I really liked chatting with her. We chose the outdoor seating which offers a nice view of the town as well as a more quiet atmosphere from the bar crowd inside at that time of night. We both had different varieties of steak. I was really pleased with mine, it was cooked perfectly medium and just the right amount of seasoning. The grilled zucchini was quite tasty too. My friend wasn’t as pleased with her steak because it was a bit more over cooked then she had ordered. Our waitress was very apologetic and said she would let the chef know. The tea I ordered was on the house to help make up for it. Aside from that, I really enjoyed eating here. It was quite pricey, $ 48 for each steak, but I expected that in the Hamptons. The atmosphere and great service were definitely a plus.

Well … All good things must come to an end! After several years of loyal patronage I just had my very last meal at Muse. They changed their signature appetizer ‘Not Yo Mama’s Meatballs’. Which was 4 very interesting types of meatballs. Asian, Italian, Thanksgiving and Swedish. They kept the name minus an ‘s’ — which is very misleading and instead of serving up their 4 meatballs they give you one giant, pizza parlor level meatball ANDHAVETHE ‘BALLS’ to charge $ 14.00 for that. Rest of the meal was just ok. Nothing special. The price was an astounding $ 60 per entrée. Done with Muse! — — — — — Thanks for reaching out Matt. We ate dinner at Muse on Saturday 8⁄1. We ordered the pork chop main course, chicken main course, scallops main course, ny strip steak main course. Several of us ordered the meatball appetizer. Honestly — nothing was good. Flavor were not appetizing, meats over cooked, scallops burned and covered with sauce. Mostly just ok. Most disappointing were the meatball appetizers. Not one person enjoyed them. Think we spent just under $ 400. I will say that this was a first — we have been going to Muse since it opened and always enjoyed our meals. Very cool of you to ask for more feedback.

I’m giving this review based solely on my experience here last night. I will revise later if I decide to return. My experience at Muse was laughable. My wife and I arrived with high expectations, having heard so many wonderful things about the place. Cocktails– Draft beer temperature is too warm – needs to be adjusted. Margaritas – wife had coconut margarita, I opted for Jalapeño. Her’s was good – a tad too sweet but I thought it was fine. Mine however was just a big miss. The lime juice was far too sharp and acidic – didn’t taste like fresh lime but more like one of those pasteurized cartons. I’d address this immediately as the bar manager. Food– Nothing to report. Went to order and were told that the kitchen was closed. It was 9:30!!! Apparently the kitchen was overwhelmed during service and they had to shut down. I find this unacceptable. I could understand if they could only offer a limited menu, but to completely shut down the kitchen on a Thursday night in July is reprehensible. Service– This was the best thing about the place. I thought the bartenders were sharp. Too bad they don’t have better support from the management with better cocktail recipes and a competent chef.

We were seated outside which was nice. I had the coconut margurita and did not like it at all. I was really disappointed with the bad tequila in it. Bread came next… Really good roll with 3 good dipping choices. For dinner I ordered the NY Strip Steak with gorgonzola & horseradish medium rare. It came medium but was still very tasty and juicy. After dinner I had a lukewarm stale cappuccino and a very yummy cheesecake chimichanga. Wait staff was good, hostesses were too busy talking to each other to say goodnight or thank you.

What a great restaurant! The open windows and center fishtank bring a little bit of the outside inside. The service was a tad bit slow but the food was delicious. The warm bread came with three choices of a pesto type olive spread, oil and butter which I regret filling up on but I finally broke my no carb diet and it was worth it. The menu had so many choices but our waiter recommended the scallops, tuna and muscles. I was totally craving muscles so had to try. They came in a delicious butter proseco sauce with artichokes… Oh hey I think I just died and went to heaven. Then I decided to order the BLT salad because I guess I thought in my mind that the portions were small. Um holy crap they give you a ton of food. It was yummmmyyy I left stuffed. The outside area to grab drinks looked really fun but had to drive home!

Leaving Shelter Island I was in the mood for breakfast, I was lucky to come across this lovely place in Sag Harbor. Great ambiance, they serve brunch daily from 11 – 3. I would come back. Looks like they are on to something.
