Raffaella, thank you for taking the time to read my review and respond to my comments. I hope you can understand our frustration for a variety of reasons. We provided our valid driver licenses as our form of identification. Since we are all over 22, we didn’t even think that this would be an issue. In fact, I am of the opinion that the burden of proof should be on the bartender and not on the customer. Assuming that the customer is attempting to violate the law is offensive to the customer, embarrassing in front of other people who attend the restaurant and, at least in my opinion, a blatant abuse of power by the person who makes that claim. As I am sure you appreciate, anybody who wants to be part of the hospitality business has to apply for a license to sell alcoholic beverages. Once they receive that license, they are taking that opportunity away from somebody else(as the number of new businesses that can offer their services is limited). Abusing the right to decide which customers to serve when those customers are not in violation of any law is clearly a disservice to those customers and to the community. Also, please allow me to respectfully point out that expecting us to carry additional forms of identification suggests that you believe the burden of proof should be with the customer and not with the service provider. I beg to disagree with that statement. A bartender is not a policeman and, in any case, should not be entitled to interfere with the right of a law abiding citizen to be served a drink. Let me reiterate here that we were not doing anything different from any of the other patrons and yet we were treated differently. I am well aware that many young people provide fake IDs in order to circumvent the law, but that was not our case and, therefore, it is totally irrelevant. Given that our IDs are valid driver licenses issued by the state, the bartender had no right to reject them. If he was concerned about a possible inspection by the authorities he would have had the right to point out that we provided IDs at his request. At that point the authorities could have verified our IDs and be satisfied that they were as valid as those of all the other patrons at the restaurant. Finally, I am sure that the food at your restaurant is excellent, as some people have told me. Yet I hope you can appreciate that none of my comments were directed to the quality of the food but rather to a very frustrating and embarrassing experience. I will close by pointing out that most of us make mistakes. However it is a great quality to admit that and to be able to apologize. I am afraid I didn’t perceive that predisposition in your bartender and, to be honest, in your response to my original complaint. Respectfully Becca

Atmosphere is chic and cozy. I came here for brunch with my family and I am thoroughly impressed I had the Tuna tartare to start. Fresh, delicious, and presented beautifully I had the duck hash and oh my god it was amazing. Duck was cooked perfectly, potatoes were crispy and the presentation was also fantastic. They also have a great burger. Highly recommended for brunch or dinner in sag harbor

A wonderful new addition to the restaurant scene on the East End! Went for dinner with friends on a weekday and it happened to be the night they launched their new prix fixe menu, which had some delicious sounding options! Although I did not order from that menu, one at our table did and loved her meal. This place gets packed on the weekends, even in the off season, so we opted for a quieter evening during the week and it was wonderful! While waiting for the rest of our group to arrive, some of us headed to the bar. We were served some incredible specialty cocktails by John, who is as entertaining as he is talented! After being seated, we ordered some apps to share and they were all standouts, recommended by our lovely server, Cassie. We had the grilled octopus, crab cake, mussels, and buffalo mozzarella. So delicious! For dinner, I had the pan roasted bay scallop special which was out of this world. I went with Cassie’s recommendation and paired it with a glass of Wölffer Sauvignon Blanc — it was absolute perfection. If you’re looking for a new spot to try on the East End, I highly recommend coming here! It has a great ambience, wonderful service, incredible food, and of course, delicious wine! You just can’t go wrong here!

Fabulous new spot in Sag Harbor. The food was delicious and I enjoyed the ambiance — it’s a NYC vibe, but more chilled out, beachy version. I highly recommend.

Would love to Give more but the first 45 minutes were so painful with a Horrible server Jelena. Can you say ATTITude… Sadly she was literally the worst server with a chip on her shoulder that I have ever had in the last 5 years. Here comes the good part the meal… was delish … Had the swordfish … Outstanding … We spoke with manager he was professional but made no attempt to recover for the horrible attitude. Likely because she is either is girlfriend, sister or some relative of someone. Regardless food is spot on. If you go steer clear of Jelena The peppers are delish as well
