Cute waitresses/bartenders on wednesday. Jalapeño burger was delicious. Mac and cheese was average. Not a large craft beer selection and would have liked more IPAs. It seemed like only 3 people cared to work, including the guy hanging party beads on a rail. Everyone else seemed like they were off the clock. However, they were helpful when we asked to watch a certain game.

The service here was horrible and the one waitress was the rudest person I’ve ever had serve me. I will not come back here and neither will any of my oreillys coworkers!

This place is a bad mark on St. Louis hockey. Throughout the hockey game there was loud dance music and was poured the wrong drinks. I’m not sure what the identity really is. I thought this was a sports bar but its just another bar on Washington Ave. with another generic awful club atmosphere. Bob Plager was a Blue. Why sell out like this? This place needs a rebrand.

While I have been to this place before, the overwhelmingly loud music dissuades me from staying long. What does put the nail in the coffin for this place was the treatment a friend of mine received while enjoying a evening out. A VERY inappropriate and rude man accosted my friend and his wife with vile and personal remarks regarding his service to our country. Despite being kicked out more than once, this rude individual continued to make his way back in and spout his negativity towards my friend who was(prior to that) having a nice time. When asked why this individual was being continued to be allowed into Bobby’s place, the response was that he spends money, so he’s allowed to be there. Any establishment that values the dollar over the quality of their public image, specifically towards its military service members, should reevalutate their priorities. Until they do so, I would strongly suggest this place be avoided unless you want to be insulted over and over again! I cannot stress this enough. If you are even a little bit patriotic and don’t want to be harrassed, go somewhere else for a drink.

I will never go back to this establishment ever again. Tonight another patron disrespectfully laughed and made fun of my husband for the branch of the military he is in. He was saying a lot disrespectful things and ultimately kicked out by the bouncer. Come to find out about 10 minutes later that he was not kicked out. I had a conversation with the bouncer who admitted that the guy spends thousands of dollars there that he was allowed to stay in. This goes to show you that this establishment is hurting for money so much that they allow disrespectful and DRUNK patrons troll their bar just so that they can make money but no respect to their other patrons. This is disgusting and I refuse to stand for this. I will never go there again. I am outraged that this happened.

We came here for the free drink special offered on Unilocal. My husband asked about 3 different beers that they typically offer and none were available. My drink ran dry and the bar tender stopped at our table without offering to get me something. Very disappointing service. I guess you get what you pay for.

Me: «Do you have a beer menu?» Waitress: «No…» Me: «What about Schlafly? Do you have an IPA or something?» 5 minutes later Waitress: «We’re out. How about the Pale Ale?» 5 minutes later Waitress: «We’re out the of the Pale Ale too.» Me: «Do you have anything besides Bud, Miller, and Coors?» Waitress: «No. .. But we have a lot in bottles over there.» (Also happy hour only applies to draft beer) Me: «I’ll just have a water.» 5 minutes later Waitress: «Here’s your water.» If you’re going to be a bar: 1) Have a beer menu! 2) Make sure the waiters know what beers you have! 3) Always make sure you have at least one decent craft beer or something local!

An embarrassment to one of the city’s great sport legends. Bad food, bad service, bad neighbor. So many better options.

Bobby’s Place, a place of Champions. Chelsea went above and beyond her duties in a way that could only rival the best customer service. I’m sure she’s doing what she can to get ahead and will be going places.

Another hit or miss bar downtown. Food can be good(wings are great!) But other menu items are seriously lacking. Weekends are a shit show there… frat boys wanting to party and hook up with anyone that walks… during the week though, its usually a good time! Decent beers and specials. Industry night, you can get 2 dollar drafts I believe!

I have been twice after the kitchens closed. Without the food, Its a dance club without the dancing. Super Loud. I cant tell you how many times I said and heard WHAT? But theres beer pong. And the pours are LEGIT. I got a rum and coke and it looked almost clear. And it’s not watered down or anything. The bathrooms are over the top. Bathroom attendants with candy and paper towels and they turn the sink on for you. Nice, but dang. Idk why they have dance club lighting and a live DJ when this place isnt a dance club. Its cool, and he plays good music, but eh. I’m sure its suited for other uses. Also it rains in Bobbys place. Air conditioning tube condensates and drips. Dont stand under it. + for beer pong + for strong drinks — for being borderline too loud — for the air conditioner rain — for the receipts not showing what drinks you bought(I just want to check how I bought $ 60 worth of drinks)

Bobby’s has just changed their lunch menu. The menu is incredibly limited in order to have it out in 15 minutes. The result is mediocre options u can get better any other place for lunch.

The times I have gone there it’s been pretty dead. Which is fine with me because the reason I go to a bar is to experiment with cocktail recipes(see if I like something before I add it to my mini bar) and to drink the things I suck at making like a Long Island. It’s very much a Bro Bar… There’s really no getting around that. The bartenders were pretty nice to me as well so no complaints there. What I will say is that the girls kind of suck when it comes to cocktail knowledge or different beers. The Long Island was WAY to heavy on the tequila and with another drink she had a hard time figuring out what an Ale is. But the prices are decent. I just think management needs to educate their staff a bit better. So basically it’s a good bar if you don’t have a picky pallet and go more for the Bro Bar experience. Which again is totally fine. But I will say that I personally won’t frequent this place unless I’m feeling in the mood to people watch(great place to do so… lol)

Great chicken wings! Good beer at a fair price; in fact when I received my bill and saw I was charged $ 8.00 for two beers I asked«are these happy hour prices?» Also good service and welcoming atmosphere! G

Rude staff, trashy bar. Asked for a piece of aluminum foil and owner said kitchen is closed for food, and absolutely refused to give me tinfoil. Really? Total turn off.

Rip off-Rip off – Rip off Warning to anyone attending a business function downtown, or anyone wearing nice clothes or looking like you’re from out of town. Stopped in one night during a business conference looking for a little local flavour(bar scene). Ask the bartender for a draft, lots on tap so I say«surprise me» I say. Yep got a surprise, a tiny maybe 10 oz IPA and charged $ 9.00. Everyone else,(locals) drinking big $ 4.00 local craft brews. WTF I say, ha ha he says, you asked me to surprise you. Tried to grab the change from my twenty dollar bill for a «tip». Nope I say, bad surprise. Yes, I did have on a nice jacket and looked a bit out of place, but come on, business people, even if we’re from out of town are not stupid. Stay away from here, many more great friendly joints near by that actually want your business.(See Lucas Street, Over-Under, Dubliner.)

Breakfast menu ALLDAY!!! Big thumbs up for the rest of the menu too… way above average bar food only a short walk away from the convention center/downtown. Upgraded to 4 stars from 3. Yes, your experience will vary depending on the time of day/night. It’s always clean and a great local spot. Service will depend on how busy they are and yes, they can get very very busy before/after sporting events. Every day there’s a new special for drinks/food and PLENTY of televisions for the games. I’ll be back!
