It all started pleasantly with our waitress taking our order. We were with 3 children 2 ordered ziti with alfredo and one mac and cheese. I ordered chicken marsala with pasta instead of potatoes, one adult ordered tuscan veggies and a salad, the other chicken parm and a salad. We also asked for bread. The drinks came quickly the bread took a long time. Our waitress brought the drinks and I noticed she brought bread to other tables sat after us before she brought ours. When the bread did come it was delivered by some other server. A short time after our bread came the 2 salads arrived. Another employee a manager I think brought the food at the same time the salads arrived. I had ordered a bowl of sausage soup(I think this is the best soup I have ever had). The soup never came. We mad a comment about the entrees arriving at the same time as the salads. I also asked about my soup even though my entrée was there. The food runner /manager said he would get the soup. He came back with some other food but not the soup. At this time a lady brought a cup of soup but not the bowl I ordered. At this time we informed the manager/food runner that the tuscan veggies my friend ordered were ice cold. He said he would get more. We also noticed one of the two ziti with alfredo were also ice cold. He said he would get some hot pasta. My son who got the mac and cheese made a comment that his mac and cheese was more like just mac with not much cheese. they then brought the hot veggies and pasta but they delivered the pasta with no alfredo. He said he would bring some. After a long period of time the alfredo did not come so I got up and went to the area where the food was coming form and asked or it. A different man said it was coming out they wanted to make sure it was hot. I replied that bye the time the alfredo comes out the pasta is now cold and I have already sent that back once. After all that we had everything we needed after some considerable problems. A woman manager came over and apologized. At the end of the meal the waitress who we had not seen since the beginning of the meal came over and said if we want dessert it would be on them. We politely declined. I was actually really insulted because after managing a restaurant I know that the level of problems we had deserved a full comp at the minimum. I was going to say something to the manager but she was dealing with another customer who was not happy with their food. I am not someone who complains freely the restaurant did not seem so busy that it would cause a problem. I’m not sure what the issue was. I would not recommend this location any time soon.

Service wasn’t good at all, food was ok. N. Andover location 100% better. Save yourself some time and go to another location

Hostesses aren’t the friendliest people. The food is very good. Our server, who was an older woman, was extremely friendly. Overall, I’d recommend. It would just be nice if the people who greet you at the door, actually greeted you at the door. Overall the servers here are excellent.

Arrived with finding the place almost empty at 5:00pm on a Thursday. Waited almost 10 minutes before someone asked if I was waited on. With the menus still not taken away, what’s your guess? Gave my Order indicating no bread and oil brought or wanted… guess what? Bread and oil hits the table! Too much to comprehend I guess! My meal arrived, very good Salmon, great mixed drink, good Key Lime Pie. Will I try this place again, yes. Great atmosphere, service has to turn things up a notch.

Went for dinner with my husband and daughter and ordered the stuffed ravioli. The food was tasteless. It looked preheated… Had to add salt and pepper to make it even likeable. I’ll try the pizza next time but not anything else.

The only good thing about this place was the service. The food was tasteless! I will not be back. :/

The staff here were incredibly helpful. We asked about food allergies, and they brought us the labels from the flour and spice packages. It really made us feel at ease eating there. The marengo pizza isn’t on the menu any more, but you can still order it as a custom pizza, with roasted peppers and grilled chicken. It’s really wonderful, one of the most delicious pizza combinations out there. Parking is convenient, you just pop up to the upper level of the mall and park. If you’re coming from a distance, it’s easy to get there from the highway(rte 93). I would highly recommend stopping in for some pizza. And of course, the rolls are amazing. Just be sure you don’t fill up too much before the rest of your meal gets there.

I haven’t been to this Bertucci’s in a while. It was not a totally pleasant revisit. The place looked rather shabby. Many uncleaned tables. The floors were filthy. The staff all hung around the food service areas chatting and joking. Food was OK, but very salty. I guess if I were stuck at the mall, I would go there again.

Not good. Ordered a pizza, but I Can Not eat dairy, so obviously I order mine with out cheese. I was very clear and direct about that to the woman taking my carry out order. After eating some of the pizza I started to notice something was up. About a third of my pizza had I light layer of cheese that was hidden under heavy toppings. They were clearly very busy that day, I’m assuming who ever was making my pizza started to put cheese on it and then realized the order was without cheese and instead of fixing the screw up, just tried to cover it up. I brought the rest of the pizza back and argued with the manager who didn’t want to give me a refund because I had eaten a good amount of it already. I explained to him that it wasn’t a matter of taste preference but a food intolerance and I was now going to be very uncomfortable for the remainder of my 9 hour retail shift, and that it’s also very difficult to run a a store from the bathroom. He eventually gave me back my money very reluctantly. If you eat here and have any sort of food allergy or you are on a specific diet be very careful. Inspect your food better than I did. Or better yet, just go somewhere else. They clearly don’t care.

*NOTE* This review doesn’t reflect the food, but the actual experience. I’ve been to Bertuccis before in the Manchester mall and have never had an issue there. However, the experience at the The Rockingham Mall in Salem was atrocious. When walking up to put our names in for a table of 3, we were greeted by a frown face and a bitchy attitude. They quoted us 15-minutes which quickly turned into 30-minutes of us people watching and twiddling our thumbs. After not being able to wait anymore, my brother went up to see where we were at in line. They said only one table was ahead of us. So we waited another 10, and spotted at least 5 groups leave. How were they not ready for us? Being fed up and starving, I decided to take the buzzer up and talk to bitch face. I ask, «where are we at in line for David, it’s been well over 30 minutes from your original quoted 15.» The girl quickly snaps, «we buzzed you, and you didn’t come up.» WTF. You’re going to blame us? I tell her we were sitting right over there with no buzz. She continues to blame us and says she will buzz it again. Nope. No buzz. She quickly states it must be broken. Of course we hear no apology. Fast forward us to our table now as I write this. Our waitress doesn’t even smile, asks for our order, and you can tell doesn’t want to be there. Ps: it smells like a wet mop.

I don’t expect much when eating at a mall and thought Bertucci’s would be better than the food court. It wasn’t. I had never tried their pizza before and was looking forward to it. It was bland and warm, not hot as it should be. I’ll try Bertucci’s again, just not this one.

I haven’t been to Bertucci in a. Long time, this place has a completely new makeover new Menu great food. I have the Chicken Domini loved it. My husband and my kids had the Margarita pizza. The salad bowl was good just not enough. The bread I did not care for it was too crusty not soft bread to butter.

This visit was for beer only. Audrey was working the bar and set me up with Harpoon IPA which is always great. 2 rolls and 2 beers and I was good to go.

What’s with the new small portions? On a recent visit: Prices have stayed the same but the portions seemed to have noticeably diminished!(Note to Bertucci’s: customers REALLY don’t like being duped). The server was very good & attentive. I didn’t fuss about the change but this will not be my monthly stop anymore.

I’ve been to one or two other Bertucci locations in the past and never had too much of a problem. Recently I stopped into the Salem, NH, location for the first — and last — time. I’ll start with positives. The food was all right. I ordered the eggplant entrée(I can’t think of its actual name). The presentation was nice, it was offered with either pasta or green beans, which was fantastic since I was not in the mood for pasta. I highly recommend that meal for eggplant lovers, or those who are feeling adventurous with new foods. Now on to my complaints. My first issue is that this place is not vegetarian-friendly at all. All of the entrée salads and pastas have either meat or shrimp included in them. Besides maybe pizza, there was only one entrée that I found that I could eat. Also they really only serve chicken for meat, which was too bad for my friend who is allergic to poultry. The service was lacking. It was a somewhat busy night, so I completely understood having slightly slower service. I never have a problem with that, especially when the waitstaff are trying their best. My problem with our waitress was that she seemed distant and cold. I have trouble hearing in crowds, so I asked her to repeat the very short list of salad dressings they offer. She seemed annoyed to have to repeat herself. She was patient with us needing a few extra minutes to order, which was nice, but unlike the other waitstaff she didn’t bring the complimentary bread and oil to our table with our drinks(or even offer it). When she came back to take our order she asked if we wanted more bread, to which we replied no. She acknowledged that, but left the plate of oil at our table. My friend ordered a pizza and asked for the bacon topping to be put on the side. I ordered the eggplant as I mentioned, which came with a salad. That was the last we saw of our waitress for awhile. She didn’t stop by to offer refills on drinks, and she didn’t bring out the salad that typically would come out before the meal. Another employee brought our meals to us, sans salad. Again it was busy, so I wasn’t really put off too much by it, but instead asked for it politely. When the salad came out, it was smothered in Italian dressing. First of all, that’s disgusting. Second, I asked for balsamic vinaigrette on the side, not Italian on the salad. I couldn’t make it through the salad. Our waitress finally stopped by and asked us if we wanted refills and started taking extra plates away… possibly after hearing my friend make a comment to me about it. All in all it wasn’t the WORST experience, but you won’t find either of us going into the Salem Bertucci’s, or possibly any other location, any time soon.

This is part of a chain of restaurants, and it’s located in a shopping mall. Given that, I wouldn’t expect an amazing experience, but it would have been nice to be pleasantly surprised. As it turned out, our service was fine, but the food for both me and my dining partner was decidedly mediocre. His chicken was overly salty, although the chicken in my chicken dish was fine, the sauce was bland. I always like the complimentary olive oil mix and bread, though. The place stayed busy even though we went in between usual lunch and dinner times, but I think that’s thanks to it bring the shopping season. Overall, our hunger was sated, but not much more.

We have had good meals here, despite that it is inside a mall. The best value is the all you can eat soup and salad lunch which comes with breadsticks. We are a fan of the wood fired oven, as we have one of our own, so we like to watch the chef cook in action. Never had a bad meal or service here.

I like the rolls and dipping oil you get here for free. The prices are a tad outrageous for what it is, but hey it tastes pretty darn good. I like to get grilled chicken pizza for some reason here. I never have had or ordered grilled chicken pizza anywhere outside of here, and its the only thing I’ve ever had. Its pretty delicious. Overall, to expensive for me to become a «regular» patron.
