In-N-Out Burger

In-​n-​Out needs to change its name here in Salinas, don’t get me wrong the food is great, but anyone who knows it takes at least 20 minutes for the drive through and 10 minutes if you get off.

The best burger fast food place! The chick fil a of beef! Animal style burgers are my favorite, light spread. Sometimes the spread can be a bit much but it’s super tasty, nonetheless. Their fries are great and so are the milkshakes. Order it protein style and they’ll sub the bread for lettuce.
The service is always fantastic!
This location is right off of highway 101 which is convenient for those driving through. I only wish they’d add one in Boise, Idaho!

This chain is highly recommended, but then that is in southern California. .
Here, in Salinas, this darling decorated diner, next to hotels N motels N freeway, is every single time if day or night I went there, buying different orders… always rotted potatoes, rancid grease, off meat, diarrhea.
Every single time. Different days, nights, mornings, lunches. Different choices if foods. even soda is too flat, sugary, off.
I am fully testifying against this particular in and out.
It’s all out, not a bitty-​bit in.
Very sad, disheartening. You just go to the potty all night, feverish, and even vomit.

Fries and shakes ok, burgers nothing special.
They have a system but it is what it is and nothing more.

I went a couple of weeks ago with my
Friend and went inside to order.
I ordered the following; double double protein style with chilies and animal style fries with extra spread and chilies.
5 mins goes by and my order is done but they forget my animal
Style fries so then I wait a little while longer. I then finally
Receive it then when I walk over to sit and the fries accidentally spilled and I felt bad so I cleaned my mess and the girl
Behind the counter said she would remake it. I’m
Thinking sweet so I eat my
Burger and then 30 minutes go by and still
No fries so I go ask them again then a guy comes to deliver my
Fries with no cut chilies that I ordered earlier and no
Extra spread actually way way less then normal spread. I
Lost my appetite by then. I usually haven’t had a bad experience but that time I did. I was really disappointed. I’m
Excited for seaside to open there In n out soon so I won’t have to go all out of my way to salinas

Never had a bad experience here! Food is always great and service is always friendly. Yes the lines are always long, because it’s good!

This place makes wonderful hamburgers. What else can I say, it’s a great place. Downside is the fries are very bland.

Very limited choices. While the hamburgers are okay, the fries are completely bland. They give the impression that it’s the healthier fast food option but they are actually worse than places like McDonalds so they might as well taste better.

Double double animal style is the BOMB!!! I have no idea whose idea it is to enter in the wrong driveway, but i hate that there is always a huge line, it’s in the worst part of town and that there is no parking most days. But I love a good burger!

It’s our only in n out burger in the Monterey county, so of course it’s always busy! The staff is always nice and greets with a smile, the burgers are always awesome. What more can you say? It’s in n out burger! So if you’re traveling and need a burger fix, stop here and get it done!

Dine in and waited over 30 mins for my order! When I got my food it was cold n Hamburgers had no lettuce. Not acceptable

The best fast food burgers and fries you can get! The only downside is there is always a line inside and at the drive thru. Always have had great customer service also!

Probably will avoid this in and out. First burger was so salted it was inedible. They made me a second burger and the bun was burnt and it ruined the whole flavor. I let them know again and they offered to make another. I just took a new top. 4 stars for service with a smile 1 star for inability to cook a burger.

Worst In N Out ever!!!
The cashier seemed to either be slow or over worked or high.
Ordered #1 animal style
Got it back wrong smothered in mustard no spread the grilled onions over cooked
Ordered a double double protein style no spread mustard instead & add pickles
Got a double double protons style with no spread no mustard no pickles and the lettus wasn’t even wrapped the correct way
Ordered fries and they tasted off like the oil was old…
First time ever I have had a bad experience at an in and out. I would have taken the meal back but did not notice til I was back in my hotel room. If this was my first time ever in an in and out I would never tried it again. I plan on coming back to town I do not plan on ever coming back to this in and out ever. The service and food sucked I wasted my time gas and money.

I love in n out! My boyfriend and I try to go at least once week to get a double double with both kinds of onions and extra special sauce! My sister loves their milkshakes and on occasions we’ll get animal style fries if we are being fattys: D. I’d like to thank in n out for existing and the staff is always really awesome!

The server Andrea had a great and welcoming attitude raking my order. Sterling, had an infectious and positive demeanor. There was a little situation that happened a few tables away. Sterling was the absolute professional. He took care of that mess like a pro. Plus, Sterling walked around taking people’s trash. To me that’s next level service and attention to customer service details. I will definitely be back.
Both of them need some kind of recognition. Great job!

BEWARE: UNSANITARY & SLOW SERVICE
Just came here tonight. I was waiting in line to order when a man came to the service counter with a half eaten burger asking the cashier if she could wrap it up for him to go. The cashier got a tray and had him place his food in the tray, then she handed it to a female worker and had her wrap it up for him. It all seemed fine until I noticed that the worker never changed her gloves and continued to make burgers using the same exact gloves. EWW!
Right away I told the cashier what I saw and asked her if the worker was going to change her gloves, to which she replied Yes. While I was waiting for my order I saw that this worker never changed her gloves and in the short time had continued to make 15 – 20 burgers.
I went up to another employee behind the counter and told her what I had seen, she looked dumbfounded and said «uh-​huh» in a manner that reflected she didn’t see the problem with it. I had to go on to explain that it was unsanitary and that I didn’t want my food to be handled by her, but also that she had been touching and preparing other peoples food. She just said she would have someone else make my food and would talk to the manager, telling me they wash their hands every time they change gloves and change gloves every 30 min, and assuring me the manager would talk to her later and handle it, all while this worker was still going along making burgers with the same exact gloves.
My brother and sister-​in-​law both used to work at In-​N-​Out and I know they have strict sanitation guidelines that they do not take lightly. In-​N-​Out is a good company that cares both for their customers and their employees, but this particular location does not represent those qualities or values. I will not return to this location again because I am thoroughly appalled by their unsanitary conditions.

I’m solely basing this review on the location!!! THIS LOCATION SUCKS!!! If it was on the food it would be hands down, five stars! But let’s talk about the location tho… it’s an easy location to find since it’s next to the freeway BUT it’s right smack next to a motel and the corners where prostitutes work… no joke. There’s been many times that I’ve sat next to a window, enjoyed my animal style fries and protein burger and getting entertained at how ridiculous the prostitutes look walking up and down the streets. There’s even been a time when a couple of the ladies (at least I think they were women!) walked in and sat at the table next to us… with their booty shorts and hooker heels. They didn’t order any food so I guess they just needed somewhere to rest.
So, just a heads up… BEWARE!!!
