This restaurant is amazing. Omar is a magician with raw food. The Asian Salad and Creamy Kale Salad are my favorites. The Caramel Chocolate Pie and Berry Cheesecake are to die for. Omar couldn’t be more passionate about this restaurant. He’s a fun and interesting guy to talk to.

Wow. I absolutely loved this place. I am not vegan, but enjoy clean eating, and need to eat dairy-free foods. I went here knowing I’d easily find dairy-free options(obviously) but not expecting how filling and delicious it is! It’s a little expensive, but given the time and thoughtfulness that goes into the preparation, I welcomed paying a few extra bucks.

This is my 2nd time coming here, not sure if I forgot to check in or post on Unilocal or just plain forgot. Food is excellent, a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Wholesome organic food prepared raw. One of my most favorite items are the miso soup and the hummus rolls. Haven’t been disappointed by anything yet. Can’t wait to go back and keep trying out different items. Never gets old.

Omar’s is fantastic! Been looking forward to going here since getting to Salt Lake City, and finally made it — boy, was it worth it! I’ve been to raw vegan restaurants before in NYC, and this one is definitely my favorite, which is saying something. Everything at Omar’s is absolutely bursting with fresh flavor(I mean duh, it’s raw, I don’t know how people in previous reviews take issue with that) and so so delicious. I’m getting hungry just writing this. I had the raw pasta, zucchini noodles with a plethora of other veggies mixed in, topped with a creamy, tasty nut-based sauce. The appetizer that my boyfriend and I shared, called Labne, was a nut-based, cream cheese like dip that blew us out of the water. So creamy, so decadent, and all raw! Amazing accomplishment by Omar’s. Finally, we got the caramel chocolate pie AND a Chocolate Super-Food Fudge Ball, both of which were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We were there in the later end of the evening(for Omar’s, as they close at 9 pm), and there were a couple other tables of people eating. Service was great and prompt, and the waitress was so nice and helpful in recommending dishes. The menu is a pretty decent size, with a few more things I’d definitely love to try. They did have a lot of salads, which I feel like is a little bit of a cop-out, as of course that’s raw anyway. But I’m not the type to eat salads when I go out anyway. Anyway, highly recommended for vegetarians, vegans, raw vegans, or anyone that’s willing to be open minded about their food. The man at the table next to us clearly wasn’t aware of what he was getting into seemed a little confused and weirded out.

Great little restaurant with a super hippy/boho vibe, the food was great, especially the nut cheese dip that was served with awesome homemade crackers! The only reason I am giving this place 4 stars is because weirdly enough, even though there were 3 different entrees served at the table, all which should have been very different, they all tasted weirdly similar… like they use the same exact spice mixture in all of them. All of the dishes were delicious, but it was weird that the sushi tasted identical to the pasta.

The only reason I don’t give this place 5 stars is because it was pricy! Although I imagine/hope that that means the food is all organically sourced and I know the preparation takes time as well for raw foods(so I hear, don’t know for sure). Other than that, I had the nut burger and it was quite tasty! I am not a vegan but I enjoy the concepts and trying new ways to prepare food!

I really, really, really, REALLY wanted to like this place. But the food took so long to come out and the service was so slow(even though there were only a few other parties in the restaurant) that I thought I was going to lose my mind. They were also out of two dishes we wanted and then they forgot our appetizer! At that point we had been there so long that we told them to forget about it. The food(once it finally came) was tasty, but the portions were small. The bill came to $ 50 for what amounted to two salads and a drink. I feel bad because I liked the food and Omar seems like a really nice guy, but I wouldn’t recommend this place to a friend.

Wow wow wow!!! What an amazing meal!!! Fresh, organic, tasteful, and just one big fat party in my mouth! Its really difficult to find a restaurant that makes you feel this good not only during eating, but also after, while eating the healthiest food ever. The service was wonderful, they were very very attentive and made sure we were taken care off at all times. I’ve been having a rough pregnancy and nothing has been setting well in my stomach, BUT not in Rawtopia! Everything was amazing, especially the humus, labne, and best of all, the taboolee! Wow!!! Omar the owner, is so so personable, and came to talk to us at our table. Such a treat, and a wonderful experience. Thank you Omar, thank you Rawtopia!

Great food! Light, healthy, filling and it’s all built upon a sustainable philosophy. A truly humanistic business that is committed to supporting sustainable and organic agricultural practices. I loved their mission«…to feed you nutrient rich organic foods, leaving your body, mind and soul feeling satiated with health and vigor.» Wow! And they deliver on their mission. Oh make sure u try their Labne!

Fresh, raw, interesting and body conscious. Their menu is meant for a great portion so not too large or overbearing. You will finish your meal :) Everything is tasty with spices and new flavors you’ve never tried before. I loved it! They ask for your patience because everything is made to order. Expect to wait a long time for your food! I ordered the S… Salad. I cant remember the name but it was awesome! I would recommend it. rate 5⁄5 great place for foodies into health

This place is the best hardcore raw food to eat. The food is great, very flavorful and healthy. A bit too healthy for me though. After I ate there, I wanted to go eat french fries.

I really wanted to like Omar’s. The flavors and textures were too strong for me.(onion, garlic, etc.) I think I just like my food cooked … I couldn’t finish anything we ordered. I am not a picky eater and I love fresh food and vegetables but this was just not enjoyable. I wanted to roll my eyes with several of the hippy dippy type patrons who brought their own containers from home to avoid using Omar’s dishes to save the Earth.(For the record– I recycle and support environmental causes but these people were just obnoxious) I did like the dessert.

What a treat to be able to order ANYTHING on the menu and know that that it will be delicious and nutritious!!! I’ve been twice and enjoyed both visits. I love to coconut curry and burrito pizza! Be sure to listen to the daily specials and drinks — all are yummy. My plan is to try everything on the menu and am confident that they’ll all be wonderful.

This was my first time. I’m usually a meat, potato, hot sauce kinda gal, but tonight it’s was all about my best friend and this is where she picked for her bday dinner. Everything on the menu sounded great but of course I was still longing for that steak next to all the salads and entrees. I settled for the coconut curry rice since it looked plentiful and my friend got the Asian salad. Our waitress was very nice and we got our food just as quick as we ordered it. I guess when you’re eating«raw» there’s not much cooking duh… :) To my surprise everything was so flavorful and was actually hearty! I didn’t feel bloated or guilty. The place is really small and kinda deli type, just a few tables to sit at for a quick meal and chat, I wouldn’t recommend a huge group, but you can always sit outside on the plaza patio. The pricing was a bit much for me, $ 15 for organic rice, raisins, other grains and some greens. $ 12 for a bowl of greens, chopped fruits and sauce. I’m not sure how to justify that. But overall it was a great experience, bday girl was happy, the location is perfect for shopping and entertainment. If you love clean eating and raw food, a quick healthy meal made with love this would be your place. Maybe I’ll be back for another bday but it won’t be mine because I’ll be ordering my steak rare please;)

We tried pizza and noodle dish. I thought the price was bit high but the organic ingredients and the way they prep the food made it worth. Ignorance of me but I ordered a pizza… I thought it was a hot dish. Duhhhh This restaurant serves RAWDISH!

Being a raw vegan for many years, finding authentic raw vegan restaurants is somewhat akin to finding a unicorn, but Omar’s is the real deal! I feel like I am in my own home when I dine here, which is every time I am in Salt Lake City(it’s in one of the best eclectic neighborhoods in Salt Lake — Sugar House). I have order most items on the menu or have been with parties that have order them and never have I heard anything but praise uttered through the muffled effects of oral ecstasy. To be clear, raw vegan food is the healthiest food available to humans and science is firmly entrenched in support of this claim. Nowadays a simple Google search will produce enough verifiable evidence to convince a seeker of fact even though there remain uninformed online detractors. However, I am giving my unabashed strongest recommendation here because THEFOODTASTESGOOD! In fact, it tastes better than good, it is incredibly good. I have taken non-raw foodies here twice and they have both walked away with altered ideas of how amazing uncooked raw vegetables, nuts, and fruits can taste when prepared at the hands of a genius. .. which Omar is.

I was visiting Salt Lake City for a few days and this place was one of the restaurants my Airbnb host recommended that I try out. This was my first time trying out raw/unprocessed dishes and I must say that Omar’s Rawtopia set the bar way high for other raw/vegan restaurants I might try in the future! I ordered the Appetizer/Entrée Combo, with the Coconut Curry Rice and the Raw Pasta. I was glad I ordered this way so that I got a chance to try two things at once. They give you a small portion of each dish on the same plate, and I’d say I got around equal amounts of both. I really liked the Raw Pasta — the«pasta» is made with zucchini cut into noodle-like strips and you can actually roll it around your fork as you would with spaghetti. The noodles are topped with a creamy nut sauce which tastes heavenly, and there is just the right amount of chopped vegetables mixed in for a variety in texture and flavor. I really enjoyed the bits of olives in there and also what I believe was the seed/nut cheese and hemp seeds sprinkled on it. The Coconut Curry Rice was really impressive as well — they got the blend of Thai spices really on point. I was curious on how they would prepare the rice without any heat but turns out that they soak it and sprout the rice and marinate it in the sauce. The texture wasn’t too chewy or mushy with a good amount of flavor. The celery and raisins work really well, as well as the bits of avocado on top. On their menu, they claim that their food is made with«Love»(with a capital ‘L’) and although this made me laugh inside a bit, I think I was actually sold on their claim after trying their food. It’s very evident that their dishes are prepared with a lot of care from start to finish. The server was really nice as well and I was just overall very impressed — wish I could try all the other dishes on the menu.

So damn good and full of FLAVOR! Friends of ours came here while on their honeymoon and recommended it. We walked by and examined the menu for 15 min before we decided to sit down and dine, my husband was hungry lol He ordered the hummus roll, and was very satisfied. Not overly full, but just enough to walk around comfortably. I ordered the raw pasta with the marinara basil sauce and nut’seed cheese. OMG… it was sooooo good! We also ordered the chocolate caramel pie with the coconut almond crust. Amazing. We are it very, very slow. Highly recommend it! Great menu! Servers were nice. Atmosphere was pleasant. Overall I would love to stop by again.

After the holidays, I had been feeling really bloated and just sort of full from all the sodium and processed foods I had been eating. This time of year is great, but it’s also a time of year where you really just feel you need a change up to feel clean again. One of my friends suggested going to Omar’s Rawtopia since she’s big into organic foods and a raw diet. I tend to eat things that are a little bit more processed, but after eating here, I feel a change on the horizon. Rawtopia has a wide variety of teas and other natural drinks to start with and has a huge menu of appetizers, soups, salads and entrees and all are made raw and are vegan/vegetarian. I opted for the appetizer/salad combo and got the seaweed appetizer with the falafel salad. Wow is all I can really say. Everything tasted so fresh and light that I didn’t walk away feeling gross or too full. The dressing was perfectly creamy but not too overpowering in either dish. The Asian seaweed salad had hints of spices which made it really delicious and it was also full of veggies. I loved their flaxseed crackers — they were so yummy in my falafel salad, which was definitely a hit for me! Items were reasonably priced for raw food, but don’t expect to pay McDonald’s or even Panera style prices here. It’s definitely up there in the price range, but worth it, I think. This was such an amazing find and I loved everything about eating at Omar’s Rawtopia. Everything here is fresh, delicious and full of rich vitamins and healthy nutrition to get you feeling right.
