Mehhhh. Not bad, but nothing to rave about. I do prefer my sesame chicken to be a bit more crunchy but the surplus of vegetables made up for it. I think there are other good chinese options but if you are looking for something quick in the Sugar Hood, this place will suffice.

Love this place! I come here at least once a week. They’re Pad Thai with chicken and steak has to be the best pad thai in town!

It pains me to give a negative review. This is one of my favorite places, but the last 2 times I’ve picked up to go orders items have been missing. The first time it was dipping sauce for crab wontons. Yesterday it lettuce for the lettuce wraps. I even requested extra lettuce. I’m a little nervous to place another to go order.

Terrible! My food was half ice cold and half scalding hot. My gf stopped an employee and told them my food was cold and they begrudgingly offered to remake it. No apology and literally they gave zero fu*ks that the food was cold. Terrible customer service! And my gf’s food was gross she did not like it. The food did not taste fresh. She is not a picky eater– everywhere we go she eats whatever is in front of her and she didn’t even touch the chicken portion of her meal.

Stopped by for some take out lunch. The workers seemed friendly. It has changed a lot since I have been here last. The food was so so, the Thai rolls were good but very salty for some reason. I try to eat healthy so I had to make a lot of changes and just by looking at the menu, I never would have known the food was so unhealthy. For example the ginger chicken dish was chicken that was breaded and deep fried. By the look at the pictures in the menu I would have thought the chicken was boiled or charbroiled.

I really appreciate whoever took our order and managed the joint while we were eating. There was a small mix up with what was ordered, and they offered a vegetarian entrée for free in place. When people make things right in food chains, it shows integrity and good business ethics. Thanks for whoever helped us!(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

There are better places to get food poisoning from. The service was not very friendly and the presentation was lackluster(the lettuce for my lettuce wraps came in a ziplock bag). On top of that, I’ve missed a day of work and am now afraid to eat thanks to this lovely establishment. Will be throwing out the food I have left over and will not be returnining.

Best pad Thai I have ever had! Just the right amount of spice, sauce, and fresh toppings.

Food to go was terrible! No flavor, no life, and absolutely of no value! Very disappointing given where PF started. Public companies have a tendency to lose their purpose. Never going there again!

Been here many times. I get the same thing every time. It doesn’t always taste the same, depending on who is making it. Place is clean, food is good, service is okay.

Really excellent service tonight: We were greeted immediately upon entering and guided through ordering. The food was good — nothing amiss. I knock a star for our orders not coming out all at once, but otherwise this visit to Pei Wei in Sugarhouse was quite pleasant.

Totally food poisoning night… I fought a long hard battle after the chicken lettuce wraps. I won’t crave this for awhile. Bummer. Place is clean and cool setting. Gluten free option was a bonus. But not coming back… Mind or body.

Disappointing experience. Food was bland and they told us they were out of the sushi we had paid for. We agreed to substitute for a different kind of sushi but then wanted to exchange for lettuce wraps. We were told we were too late because they had already made the sushi. «Ok. When was it made?» I asked. The employee answered, «This morning.» ???

Pei Wei is always fresh and delicious. They serve a wide variety of Asian cuisine. In recent years they have introduced plenty of new dishes to their menu(most recently sushi), but they still manage to keep my go-tos which is very much appreciated. The Sugar House location is my favorite because they have never messed up my order. I always order online. When I arrive to pick up my food it is always on time and the staff is friendly. I have not experienced this level of service from other locations. The only drawback to this Pei Wei is the horrendous parking situation. I recommend the Pei Wei spicy, the new Firecracker, and the PF Changs syle lettuce wraps. Also I suggest driving a car that can spare a ding or two from the parking lot.

I remember why i stopped coming here. Even though the food is good, the employees have an attitude like they are too busy to deal with customers, even when they’re not busy. I kept waiting to get my food order in while they kept taking one after the other takeout people who walked in. Just something about this place(both locations) rubs me the wrong way.

Totally legitimized this place with my Asian presence today for lunch with the kiddos. Hey, what can I say… I missed my dan dan noodles and everyday Pei Wei meals from my days in the audit room across from our local Pei Wei and I had a gift card leftover from 2007. Still a huge fan of their dan dan noodles — the only dish worth getting here, but was a bit disappointed with my son’s kid lo mein substituted(and paid the price difference) with shrimp. All together with a drink, that had us at $ 15 which was not so bad given my $ 10 gift card but still a lot to pay for just you and a kid. Also, fairly disappointed that the kid’s drink is 99 cents but the front guy couldn’t just suggest a «kid’s drink» with free refills for us instead of the small drink I ordered(but I’m also shooting myself in the foot for not realizing this sooner). Anyway — even though everything taste the same on the menu(except for the curry and the dan dan noodles), I’m still a fan of the free all you can eat fortune cookies — even if you choose to put it in a bowl by the cashier instead of a big box like the other Pei Wei’s I have been to — I am not ashamed to go back repeatedly for more!

Large selection of different Asian cuisines and good service. I have always received my food in a timely matter and it was served piping hot! My all time favorite is the Spicy Pei Wei, it has a spicy tangy sauce and is served with snap peas and sliced carrots. Their brown rice is also really good and hearty. Their lettuce wraps are also really good, but they never give you enough lettuce to start with, but they will give you more for free. I do wish that some of the other dishes came with more vegetables, some are just meat and rice, which I do love. I think this is a really fun place to come have lunch or dinner in an exciting bustling environment. They also have a big giant bowl full of fortune cookies for the taking.

Fast with the wontons and the food came out shortly after. One thing that was odd is that they brought my plate before my wife’s. Hers came a few minutes later. Why? Not sure. Despite that one time oddity it is a good place to eat. The staff seem friendly and the cooks are always in motion. Fun for a date or lunch.

Sit at the bar behind the cooks. It’s really interesting to see the woks going gangbusters. The spicy korean beef entrée is good. The green beans are QUITE crispy. Not my style, but good for others.
