Xtend Barre SLC

I did a class with Lexi, she is phenomenal. My abs burned for days. It was fun, upbeat and an incredible workout. I will definitely go to all her classes.

I have been going to this studio for about 4 months now and I am addicted! Kendra, Kristen and Allison are my favorite teachers, they are always switching it up, making it fun, and are sure to say hello. The receptionists are helpful and greet you warmly. I can feel/​see my self getting stronger and more fit every week. This studio is the best!

First time in class and as a beginner, I found it difficult enough to be sore, entertaining enough to return and clean enough to feel comfortable. The instructor was beautiful, smart, sweet, welcoming, and genuine. Classmates kept to themselves but seemed nice. Equipment was clean and well maintained. Loaner socks were clean.
Playlist was not awesome but I think it was someone else’s. We had a great time and sweated it up.

Love Xtend Barre. Such a fun atmosphere. Great instructors and front desk girls. Take Lexi and Kellie’s class!

Only been to Kendra’s class, so this might be a little premature, but she is a terrific instructor and the workout is great. Studio is well appointed and music is energetic and fun.

I tried Xtend Barre over a year ago from a Facebook offer and I love it. Initially, I was nervous about doing a ballet based workout as I have never done ballet. The instructors are amazing and this is great for someone who has never taken a ballet class before. The classes are super fun and remain challenging.

I’m writing from my husbands Unilocal account since I don’t have one, but I love Xtend so much I felt like writing a review.
I started doing Xtend barre about a year and a half to two years ago at this location. It was the first barre workout I had ever taken and after attending the first class, I was hooked. The workout itself is really really challenging with the perfect mix of muscle toning and cardio. Xtend focuses on lengthening and toning your muscles to get that «dancers body», which I think all women can appreciate.
I recently moved and since there wasn’t an Xtend near me I tried other barre methods (cardio barre, pure barre and bar method) none of the other barre methods made me feel excited to go workout like Xtend.
What I love the most about this particular method of barre is the fact that Xtend uses ballet terminology. It’s also more dance oriented than most barre classes which I LOVE!
Also, all of the instructors at this location are phenomenal! I would have to say Kendra is my personal favorite, but they’re all amazing! They all seem very educated and they all have modifications and advancements for each exercise. They also tell you which muscles you’re working which I LOVE!
I love the changes I’ve seen in my body so quickly. Definitely give Xtend a try, you won’t regret it :)

I used to run. Before I had kids. Now I pretend like I work out. and you can’t be a pretend runner – those are called «joggers» with a soft j. So I kept looking for something to inspire me. Zumba? FAT CHANCE. This feels like bunco – or some other embarrassing fad. Spin? I would rather die. Pilates? maybe – but expensive. Yoga? I’m not mature enough, I don’t think. So I tried out barre. It’s like aerobics meets ballet meets pilates. Which maybe doesn’t SOUND good, but it’s AWESOME. First off, I am NOT coordinated, and secondly I’m pregnant so I’m even LESS coordinated right now. This place is clean and the instructors are amazing. The class has got to be the best full body workout of my life. I enjoy the clientele here as well. This is a serious butt-​kicking and it makes me feel amazing. I actually look forward to going. It is expensive. But NOT as expensive as pilates. You can buy a 10 pass for $ 165 I think. Also, the first class is free, so you can at least try it to see if it’s amazing. If you want.

Xtend Barre is amazing and there is class available everyday of the week! I work 9 – 5 and their classes work perfectly with my schedule. Each instructor is different! You will get a great workout– each and every time! I hate going to the gym but this class keeps you motivated. I’ve been doing it for about a month now and I feel great! You will see results! The only requirement I feel you must have is good coordination. It is costly for a single class– I would recommend purchasing unlimited monthly classes!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Xtend Barre! It’s the best workout I’ve ever tried, ever. The instructors are incredible, motivating and help you perfect every move. I’ve been taking for 3.5 months now and definitely see changes in my body. I feel thinner, taller and better about myself and my body. This workout is addictive and I WANT to go workout. Which says alot. Thank you Xtend Barre for making my life better :) You have to try it!

A kick butt workout that combines muscle toning and cardio. everything you could need in one hour that flies by.

A great fully body work out for anyone who wants to feel good and look great. The instructors are very nice and energetic. The place is very inviting and great location. Best workout!
