One of our best experiences in visiting San Antonio was to come in here and be served by employee Chance. Felt like I was the king. Sometimes you can tell people like their jobs and truly want to serve. The owner should do what ever it takes to keep him. But my guess is he will be going far in his life. Plus the dogs were good. Thanks for making our day happy, we had experienced much sad emotions this day. And you brighten our day.

Pretty decent sandwich place if you’re in the area already for other reasons(like we were) as I wouldn’t consider this a must-come-to destination in its own right. But for a decent alternative to the chains like Subway and Jimmy Johns, it’s a good option. We had the Reuben and the Pastrami on rye, and both were pretty good. Pricing slightly on the high side but this is near the tourist area, so expect that. We could have done without the seemingly endless parade of homeless and beggars that seemed to congregate right next door at the ledge of the adjacent Walgreens. So people eating outside should remain alert and aware, as this part of Houston is a bit off the main tourist strip and gets seedier the further down Houston you wander

Really fast delivery. Thank you. I was trying to not let my toddler leave the hotel room and if delivery tip wasn’t included im sorry I was too flustered to do anything but sign.

I was just in the Delivery Market in San Antonio, and I have never seen anything so horrible. The girl working, put her hand in the chips container took them out and put them in a basket, then picked them up again and put them back in the container WITHNOGLOVESON! I was standing right there. She then proceeded to pick up the soup bowl and stuck her hand in the bowl while picking it up, again NOGLOVES, then proceeded to touch her face. I work a block away and co-workers and I come in once a week. We will NOT be back.

been to this place twice in one week. the first time I went with coworkers at the lunch rush but didn’t have to wait. the staff was very friendly and the location looked inviting. I picked the chili dog with chips and small drink. they only have flavored ice tea which I don’t like so I opted for the lemonade. refreshing! my order came our right away and the chili dog was yum! it was plenty of food for lunch. the second visit I ordered the manager’s special. I picked a half pastrami with ruffles potato chips and lemonade. I’m not a fan of rye bread but the pastrami was yum! again no waiting and the staff was very friendly.

If you are reading this review looking for a place to eat lunch then keep reading. Hopefully you find this beneficial. I was impressed with the food and found it well made. They have all sorts of sandwiches to choose from. I had the Reuben with chips and drink. The sandwich was hot and not too messy to eat. The portion was good but I think the sandwich could’ve been a little bigger. The restaurant isn’t anything spectacular inside. Very normal but inviting. I’m thinking the place turns into a Havanna Night Club after hours because you can purchase cigars, partake in an adult beverage, and sit outside. Btw You order from the counter and sit yourself. Overall if you are looking for a quick bite to eat and like a good sandwich. You can’t go wrong here.

Whenever I’m feeling hungry for a good BLT Club, I always turn to Delivery Market. I work down the street from them so it’s every convenient to order lunch when I’m at work. The delivery people are nice and friendly. The food is fresh and delicious. I really recommend their chili and their cucumber salad! I only had one minor mishap with credit card information being declined even though I had money on the card, and I had to withdraw from an ATM to pay for the food since they didn’t want to run my card again, but mistakes happen and I do understand the security implications. It would have been nice to have been called about the declined card instead of have the delivery boy(bless his heart he was so kind) show up with the declined receipt, have him wait while I pull cash and have him run back to the deli to get change for me. There have been other service instances but it’s mainly 4 star service. But other than that, the food is 5 stars, service could use a bit of help as mentioned.

Ordered two Philly cheese steaks and a pizza. I never received my pizza. After noticing the lengthy wait, I asked the cashier about my order and he had never placed it. He just gave me a refund and didn’t bother to apologize. Very disappointed.

Great little place to grab a drink and bite to eat before seeing a show at the Majestic. It’s located in a quirky, charming old building. Hubby was happy they serve Stella on draft. That’s hard to find in San Antonio. I was pleasantly surprised they have vegetarian options. There’s a wide range of options here, something for everyone, and the service is quick.

Awesome fresh sandwiches and delicious soup. Great if you’re looking for a quick and casual bite. I’m here visiting for a conferences and have limited time for lunch, this is the perfect place! The atmosphere is casual, deli style, grab-your-own fountain soda and drinks from the cooler. I walked in and they’re playing a Norah Jones/Erika Badu/Adele mix, which is totally random but I love it.

I have been working downtown for a few years, and this is got to be one of my favorite delivery places. The sandwiches are always really fresh. Their tomato soup is absolutely amazing. I love the atmosphere inside. They also have a pretty good, small craft beer selection. Love the outside seating bar. Good place to go and just relax.

I am giving this place a zero! I didn’t even order, the staff was so incredibly rude. I attempted to order a Cobb salad, and I wanted it without chicken or bacon since I do not eat meat… anyway, one server kept informing me that he «just got here» so he couldn’t make my salad… I have no idea the relevance. And then the second person stated to me that he was«pretty slow» so it would take him a long time. There was no one else in line. Clearly this place is staffed by lazy and insubordinate people and they should be replaced by staff that, you know, actually works. Unbelievable.

Just what I needed — a quick, solid meal that didn’t break the bank. Chipotle chicken was solid

You want to have lunch here. How many places do you know that have this winning combination: hot and cold sandwiches, Mexican Coke/Pepsi/soft drinks, a great friendly staff and atmosphere, indoor/sidewalk seating, reasonable prices AND The Science Channel on TV with videos of «How Do They Make That?» playing! On top of this, the food’s great!

After driving from Houston and wandering downtown, we were Hungry! This place was a blessing! I think between the 4 of us, we ordered about half the menu and it was all very tasty. The restaurant itself doesn’t look like much and we got a laugh out of the bathroom key that was chained to a plastic shovel, but the food was perfect. It wasn’t fast but well worth the short wait. We will be going back.

I have such mixed feelings about Delivery Market. The California BLT, or whatever it’s called, is one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. And I love the potato salad. But they have a tendency to forget to include sides, and sometimes the wait is inexplicably long even if there isn’t a crowd. So that’s not ideal. But this area kind of sucks for quick food and I like the place.

The wife and I popped in here for lunch one Sunday afternoon. The smell of a burned sandwich slapped us in the face, but we stuck with it. I had the Chipotle Chicken sandwich with a side of mustard potato salad and a chocolate chip espresso cookie. The sandwich was perfectly toasted and the Chipolte sauce actually had some heat to it. The potato salad was good but the portion was very small. Definitely enjoyed the cookie! Great little lunch spot!

After staying for 5 nights in a hotel in Downtown San Antonio for an extended business meeting and eating catered food three times a day, I escaped the confines of the meeting rooms and walked a few blocks over to Delivery Market. It doesn’t look like anything special on the outside and even after walking in I was not so sure that I would order anything. That quickly changed as I was viewing their posted wall menu and caught a glimpse and a strong whiff of the aroma from the sandwiches that their cook was cranking out on the grill. I ordered up a Reuben and a Cuban sandwich to go. It’s a very casual, if not divey atmosphere and I just wanted to go back to my hotel, kick my feet up, relax and eat. After a brief wait, and being served by 2 very courteous employees, I had my bag of goods and was off to my room. Both sandwiches were well wrapped and arrived warm and intact. I opened both sandwiches as i couldn’t decide which to try first. They looked great but, the real proof would be in the first 2 bites. I planned to eat half of each sandwich and save the rest for the next day. Well, I had none left for the next day. The Reuben was excellent. The marble rye bread was delicious, firm and chewy. The sandwich had generous, but not over sized, portions of corned beef, Swiss, kraut and thousand island. Flavor was everywhere ! The Cuban was a very good sandwich and was made with ham, thin sliced roast pork, Swiss, pickles and mustard on a roll which was cooked on a press. The ingredients were very good and, of all things, the pickles were great! It just lacked a certain«je né sais quois» err excuse me, we’re talking Cuban here so…” yo no se «. This was probably due to two things: the not quite authentic Cuban bread and the use of sliced deli(cold cut style) roast pork in a small proportion compared to the ham. Of course, all this was paradoxically washed down with a, you guessed it, a Diet Coke. Get there and enjoy !
