The staff was really friendly and knowledgeable on their products. The mean green juice was good and I’d return to try more!

I have been to the other location and tried Revolucion’s delicious honey lavender latte, but on this specific visit to the Southtown location, I was just looking for juice. Perhaps that’s why I had a better experience than most. Since I wasn’t looking for coffee, I had no reason to be disappointed, but I completely and totally agree with other Unilocalers on this point. Revolucion Southtown: if you’re not going to offer your tasty espressos, pourovers, and other delicious coffee drinks, don’t label yourself as «Revolucion Coffee + Juice» on Unilocal(or anywhere else for that matter). Anyway, that being said, I was completely satisfied with my recent visit. The inside is a bit strange, since it also houses SA Running Co, but cool because you can buy some running gear you didn’t know you needed. They also have group runs you can join for free and have some juice samples afterwards, if you’re interested in that sorta thing. Having never tried the juice, I was a bit hesitant before purchasing such an expensive bottle.(They should also maybe list their prices… I walked out with two small-ish bottles of juice for $ 20.). The guy working the counter was super nice though, and offered samples on all of their offerings. I wanted a good representation of what they offer, so I sampled four or five of their juices. All were delicious, and I liked how they check off exactly what is in each bottle. Some of them were deceptively sweet, and I couldn’t believe that there was no added sugar. I’m not a juice fanatic or a believer in «juicing» or «cleansing» but I am down for some fresh, locally made juice. It’s not a place I’ll frequent, mostly because of the price, but I do think for people struggling to get in their daily greens or just wanting a healthier option while in Southtown, this might be the place to go.

Totally overpriced juice… $ 9.50 for a bottle of pre-pressed juice. The place seemed big and empty and I wasn’t sure if it was a café or yoga studio or athletic apparel shop or all of the above??? Anyway, there are plenty of places for a fairly priced cup of coffee nearby.

Juice is so over priced. Good but over priced. Running shoes, yoga crap… But no coffee here

A vegan/vegetarian place. Very organic, a tad different than your usual juice place. Different isn’t bad, its just wasn’t what I was expecting. It still means its good. Food selection is limited and the primary avenue this business took was making fresh products. This in itself is commendable. The carrot and something juice was definitely refreshing but the $ 9.20 price tag wasn’t. This place was not for me, but perhaps it will be for you. I recommend trying it once as a snack or study space.

Absolutely the best cold pressed juice hands down. Great atmosphere and great people. Yoga, juice and running. My three favorite things! Join them for their social runs and great yoga classes. Manny and Angie have a way with making you feel at home and you can meet up with friends for juice and great coffee. There are nice treats to wet your appetite. The peanut butter bars and Lean juices are my favorite. They are a wonderful addition to Southtown!

Okay, Revo. We’ve been friends for a while now. But since my recent move to Southtown from Alamo Heights, our relationship has been somewhat… strained. Prior to moving I scoped out your Southtown location. I was so pumped that great coffee would be only a few blocks from my new crib! In retrospect, maybe I should’ve scoped a little harder… So I get myself together on my first Southtown morning, pile myself into my car and swerve(literally) into this new location on my way to work. My senses heightened for that first morning latte swirled with honey and lavender. Mmmm. And alas… I knew something was wrong when I opened the door and there was NO waft of dark grinds transforming to liquid power. Then I saw it. The dreaded«mass pour, help yourself to the continental breakfast coffee» thingy sitting lonely and indiscriminate in the back. This, I knew, was a terrible sign. The very apologetic bearded man behind the counter assured me there was plenty of juice to go around… But NO real coffee. WHAT?! I glanced at the sign on the door again. Yes. It definitely says«coffee». And this is definitely the same Revolucion brand I used to love in the Heights… But no coffee?! Sorry but juice just doesn’t cut it on a Monday morning, does it Revo?! I NEEDED caffeine! What a frigging tease. Please don’t advertise«coffee and juice» on your signage if you don’t have an espresso machine in house. I can get stale drip coffee at work. Seriously, this location is doing a disservice to your undeserving brand. I love you Revo. But please… PLEASE don’t caffeine tease me. It’s just mean.

Stopped in for a cup of coffee and an acai bowl and left disappointed. It was confusing from the minute I walked in the door– running shoes followed by yoga gear to the right and to the left, what seemed like a coffee bar. They only had one urn of drip coffee, a couple bottles of juice, and a few snacks. The guy behind the bar was wicked nice and advised to check out their other location.

I NEEDROUGHAGE. Guess what? I don’t care. But my body does. So every once in awhile after my foodgasms and liverlushes get to be too much I search for some juice. Not the grocery OJ. This is by far my favorite purveyor of slow cold pressed juice. The strawberry almond milk is intoxicating.(Honestly, I can’t help thinking that adding a shot of vodka would really enhance it though). While a three day cleanse really never stays thoroughly liquid with me, I love the fact that i can go down the street and get an entire produce aisle full of greens and fruits in my system in one glass bottle and not worry about my old lady digestive system for a bit. Love you boo. Keep doing you so I can keep doin them stupid thangs.
