I like the chicken. The serving person was very nice. It was later in the evening and the crowd of people there were quite nasty looking and acting. Maybe daytime would be much better.

I seriously love chicken. Definitely recommend this heavenly place, it be cracking on Tuesdays as they got an awesome deal. Can’t leave without them fries and a gallon of sweet tea to replenish my Asian body. I’ll be back.

This location while the chicken is good they don’t know when to throw away the bad Fish. Each time I have brought their Fish it was always bad but they would not replace it they would always look at me and act like it was fresh. I don’t always get the best service when I tell them about the bad Fish. I prefer not to eat there hardly anymore. My family likes Popeye’s but they never eat the Fish but that’s all I Like. Frankly I’m bored with restaurants that don’t serve food that is not Fresh. Fast food or not plz serve fresh food. Thank u.

Big fan of this location. It’s clean. Service is excellent. Chicken is actually cooked better and with more love than at other Popeye’s. Our server/maybe manager Martin was really awesome and was extra friendly. They also have big TV’s to watch sports which is awesome, along with the usual discounts and specials. If you haven’t been, just get the spicy style fried chicken, biscuits, potatoes and dirty rice. The tenders and shrimp are just ok, I’d skip them and stick with regular.

I came here to try Popeyes for the first time ever and yeah, KFC aint got nothing on this. Their food is definitely more tasty BUT still greasy. So it is what it is. Definitely the team is holding it down in there with good customer service and low wait times. Kudos to youu :)

1st time ever eating at a Popeye’s(I know, I know). Don’t tell KFC, buuuuuut… I liked it. Biscuit, Coleslaw, and Chicken Tenders were good; Fish was salty & so-so, Iced Tea didn’t taste very tea-y. Cashier’s nameplate was printed too small — Karla? Kamia? Camay? #ghostface #jk She was helpful; give her a raise.

Me and my sister went here on a Sunday evening. I order my fish sandwich, large fries combo. I was so excited to eat my sandwich, went home open the box and it was the wrong order it wasn’t even a sandwich. It was small pieces of fish and biscuit. I was so disappoint because I wanted to try the sandwich and the portion of the meal was so small but the large fries made up for it and kept me full. Good thing I order a large fries. Not work $ 11 for that meal. Beware: Check your food before you leave.

Ci always hear and watch lots of commercials on tv and radio. So I stop in San Bruno location The serv it’s good. The chicken was hot… But… Not completely cook all the way… I asked for spice! Not spicy at all!!! No flavor at all!!! Sorry Louisiana but you need to get this chicken more flavorful and when customers ask for spicy chicken make sure it’s inside not the outside and lower the crust… Thanks

This is one of the biggest Popeyes location I’ve been too. It was king of hard to find since it was at the corner of the plaza. Popeyes is my go to fried chicken place. I love it so much better than there competitors. I usually order the spicy chicken combo and never have any complaints. However I am giving them three stars today because of what I ordered. I decided to try something new and completely regret it. I got the surf and turf combo today. Seeing all the advertisements, I was persuaded to try it. It came with four TINY shrimps and two SKINNY chicken tenders. So not worth it. My box was mainly just filled with French fries. The shrimps were so small that I even had a hard time finding it. Lesson learned, stick with the original spicy fried chicken.

I love popeyes chicken especially their specials on Tuesdays but this past Tuesday on 9÷2÷15 I had a very BADEXPERIENCE! BADCUSTOMERSERVICE! I had ordered 30 pieces of chicken, 8 breast chicken which comes with a biscuit for each chicken. The cashier was very nice and at the end of my order he said it will take only about 10 mins. Great! Fantastic! Then it seems like I was waiting forever which it was past 15mins of waiting. I then ask the person in the blue shirt how much longer for my big order and gave my order # oh about 8 more minutes. I started to nod my head like REALLY?!? Come to find out the guy in the blue shirt was the manager Juan which didn’t say oh it takes longer to cook chicken breast. I mentioned I was told only 10 mins but I FINALLYGOTMYORDER within 30mins. So I said is this how long it takes because I was told 10mins and Im on my lunch break. Then when I get my order the box of biscuits was missing but good thing I didn’t leave the area with my parents so I went back and advised them and even let them know they can come and check our boxes in our truck because I wasn’t going to go back and forth. He even gave me a hard time about 8 stinking biscuits. I told them this was RIDICULOUS&SUCHPOOR/BAD CUSTOMERSERVICE!!! They need better management to train great customer service and not act like they don’t care or don’t give a damn. I won’t be going there no more but to a different location.

This place is part of the Holy Trinity of food. There is almost nothing like the moment a hot popeyes tender blesses your tongue. I can only think of a couple things that come close, and they’re either eating other types of food or X-rated. So yeah it’s pretty good.

Love the biscuit, 3X better than KFC. Chicken is superbly of a high quality than KFC. Service is usually slow and Long if you end up here during LUNCH&DINNER, why? Because all the employees from neighboring business flock to this location to catch a quick bite. Ive seen the line out the door many times during lunch time. Bathroom is available at this location. 4 stars for the food & service.

I’m rating this solely on the portion size and value of the food. I feel that it’s a major rip off for what you pay for. The«Cajun combo» comes with 3SMALL fish size and isn’t even crunchy. Don’t opt for anything seafood related on the menu. The chicken is decent, but it’s only worthit if you come on a Tuesday. In terms of interior, this is one of the better popeyes i’ve seen after the remodel. Parking shouldn’t be a problem and there are great shopping centers around it.

Today on my lunch break, I decide to get Popeyes with my coworker. When we get there, im serviced and my food comes out pretty fast. I get back to work, ready to start chowing down on my fried chicken and red beans & rice. When i open the box, immediately my eyes are fixed on a drumstick that had disgustingly red scales still on it!!! It clearly wasn’t cleaned properly. I took photos of this before tossing it out and immediately called the customer care line. I informed them of what took place and the representative assured me that i would not only get a full refund but also i’d hear from her higher up. Lets see if that actually happens.

Sometimes run low later in the day, but good for popeyes. The biscuits are amazing! Tucked away in a strip mall, it was a bit hard to find and also very busy(but it was the weekend.) If you want quick fast food, definitely a good place to stop!

Why am I giving this fast food establishment a 5 star? Simply for the service. This review is not for Popeye’s chicken as a business, if you are coming in here I am going to assume you know what Popeye’s taste like so I am not going to review the food. What was absolutely impressive with this restaurant was how clean, bright, spacious the store was and how absolutely positive and hard working the staff was. I came here on a Tuesday night during their special and at 6:10pm the line was at least 15 person deep. The cashier took my order properly and was very courteous. It was extremely busy and everyone was ordering a ton of food but the staff was always friendly to each customer. I hate waiting just as much as the next person but you could genuinely tell that these crew members were trying to handle the orders as quickly and efficiently as possible. I really would like to commend the staff and the manager for the overall positive experience.

Very large and clean interior, friendly and funny staff. Only reason I’m giving this place 3 stars? The chicken, although my chicken was fresh, it was very bland, definitely wasn’t marinated long enough.

Of all of the Popeye’s in the area this is the one you want to come to. I have eaten at the other locations from San Bruno up north into San Francisco. The San Bruno location is the best. Spicy chicken here is excellent and has a thick coating. Sides are always good and in stock. They alwasy have bicuits, butter, and honey here. unlike some other Popeye’s locations in the area(Fillmore St location in SF you suck) Consistently good product and service is what you find here.

My 50th review on a place I’ve gone for years. From the time before Cane Sweeeet Tea to present with the renovated half circle bar like table and flat screen tv’s. The food here never disappoints and is busy as the first day it opened for good reasons. Yes, lines are super long. To me that is a good thing. First, it means the foods good. You don’t want to walk in to a place where nobody but you is the only customer not knowing what quality you’re getting. Second, for fried food such as this, it is best to eat while it’s hot. The line helps with the turn around and constant production of freshly hot chicken fried off the fryers. I hate chicken that are dry. Even though the chicken is fried to crisp perfection, Popeyes maintain a constant moistness in its meat, even for breast meat. As mentioned, chicken is always hot and fresh. Season is never overpowering. Perfect crispness. What else can make better fast food fried chicken? Of course at times there would still be oil dripping because they are rushing the chicken off the fryer to the heat light and to your box. This is fresh off the fryer! Get a napkin to soak some of that oil up. The tenders and just as good and it appears with bread, lettuce and mayo as Po’Boy or red beans, rice and tortilla as a Chicken Wrap. I, however, like the original Bonafide form where cooking with bone in gives it an extra flavor. Most of the sides are good with onion rings, Cajun fries, red beans and rice, cole slaw, corn, Cajun rice, green beans, and mashed potatoes. I normally get the mashed because the gravy has bits and pieces of meat in it that compliments well with the chicken. They have since added popcorn shrimp, butterfly shrimp and chicken sausage jambalaya. Popcorn shrimp is all battered and I believe it’s off the menu. When butterfly shrimp first came out, they were pretty big shrimp. They have shrunk in size since. Jambalaya is good but they just used their Cajun rice and mix it with chopped chicken and sausage. Don’t expect it to be authentic jambalaya. This location is unique in that it is huge. This is probably the biggest location in the Bay Area. Good thing because this is the busiest location. During noon or 6pm, expect lines to extend out the door and good luck finding a table to dine in. Especially now that there are two huge flat screens, customers dine even slower if there is an important game on. Parking is pretty large and rarely gets full. I’m pretty sure you can park a little down towards Luckys or across the street near Verizon if you really cannot find a spot. Avoid the restrooms if you can. They aren’t the cleanest. All in all, you come here for the excellent food. Even after I eat buttermilk fried chicken at sit down restaurants, I still crave for this place. There’s no fried chicken like Popeyes fried chicken.
