This is a knock off alternative to In n Out. The chili cheese fries are AMAZING, but that Asian manager… well… he’s rude and freaks out over giving out condiments to go.

Super delicious burgers. Definitely as good as in-n-out and at a good price. I would highly recommend this place and will be stopping Byrne next time I’m in town

Cool little burger place in SC. I think it was a bit more fast-casual than say an In N Out, but the burger was basically the same. I liked the junkie fries, but they were dumped into the corner of our box, and the sauce got all over the box. The sauce was slightly better than In N Out. Burgers were good, piping hot, and very fresh. Love the cool customizeable Coke machine!

Amazing food, amazing staff and the owner is just about the friendliest guy ever. I am proud to support the local business — but even more stoked to eat the amazing burgers!!! In and Out has got nothing on Burger Junkies

Bomb ass bacon burger. Tastes just like inn and out add bacon. The guy at the counter was really cool and had great service. I will for sure be back

The food is pretty good, especially the junkie fries. I hate onions, but it was really good and well made. The veggie burger was good, but it could’ve used more flavor. I wanted a milkshake, but they were apparently all out. How could they possibly not have the milkshake available when that’s one of their few beverage options?! The girl at the cashier wasn’t very knowledgable of the menu and she didn’t have the best personality. This place is nice, but it could use some work.

Average. nothing out of the ordinary. When asked what is in the ‘junkie fries’ he responded with it’s Animal style fries. Which to me is a big turn off because you’re basically just ripping off In N Out. Burger was average, nothing special. But the price(for the burger was alright, but when I added Junkie Fries,) I didn’t feel like I get my $ 8 worth of satisfaction from the food. Sorry Burger Junkie. I really wanted to like you guys

So delicious! Was down in San Clemente for a business trip and I went here three times in one weak! So embarrassing but it was just too yummy! I prefer their junkie fries over in n outs animal fries any day!

It’s a basic burger place. Just the way I like them! Nothing too fancy, but good food made just the way you ordered it. If you are a fan of onion rings, give these a go.

Stopped in here for some lunch the other day! It was delicious! Great fresh burgers with fresh ingredients! Much better than stopping at a McDonalds. Yuck. Definitely worth a try! Great little place!

Found this place by accident. Was going to gp to Chronic tacos but decided to try this place instead. Had a double cheeseburger with fries. Quite delicious. I would return if I was in the area.

The closest to In N Out Burger l’ve had. Found out the owners of Burger Junkies have been friends with the owners of In N Out Burger for years. I always order grilled onions and they do them great. The one thing that is different is the bun. It’s a little heavier than In N Out but good! Since we don’t have an In N Out I’m really glad they’re here. Oh and they have a few other things that are really good too their chili fries and their shakes are excellent. My mom wanted Buger Junkies for her 75th birthday and the owner sent her a birthday shake. Really nice staff too.

The burgers and fries are very average not much different from anything you can get at an ‘in n out’ but double the price… Riders Club, Habit Burger and a handful of other places are much better options IMO.

To be quite honest I made my decision to try Burger Junkies based solely on the name of the establishment. Because I am in fact a self-proclaimed burger junkie. My husband and I were traveling up the coast and stopped for a night in San Clemente. We love to try new places and from doing our research, there are quite the number of burger joints in the area. My husband wanted to try another place but lets face it, the wife makes the final decisions. Our visit was closer to closing time hence the big mop bucket right in front of the register. As well as a broom and all the stools they have for seating pushed to one side of the restaurant. It was already tight inside(without any other customers) so all of the extra cleaning equipment just made it uncomfortable. The employee was quick to go from cleaning to taking our order to actually making our order. No hand washing or gloves needed apparently. Yipes! Ordering was easy, very simple menu not bad prices. But I like simple. It reminded me a little of In and Out. Once we paid and received our food I couldn’t wait to take it back to the hotel and devour it. The smell creeping from the paper bag was amazingness. While we were eating our food my husband looks over to me and says«this tastes a LOT like In and Out» And I must agree… the burger sauce was identical to In and Out however, the fries were much better than at the palm tree burger place. I’d eat here again but I think if I were in town I’d like to try the burger place just around the corner first. Tip to the people who run Burger Junkie: just because you are closing in an hour shouldn’t mean your customer experience should go out the window because you are trying to clean up and get out of there! Also, the condiment area could use some sprucing up.

I started dining at Burger Junkies when they first opened their doors a few years back, and I was hooked! I will even go out on a limb and say they are much better than In-In-Out. I usually go with a junkie burger and chili cheese fries, but all I have had on the menu is delicious. I moved away for college and I would get crazy cravings for Burger Junkies, lol. Every time I returned home, It was the first place I stopped to eat. You can’t go wrong trying it out, you will be hooked.

San Diego traffic can get baaad I tell ya. Especially on the weekends. My family and I were heading back home from SD and hubby just couldn’t take it anymore. We veered off the 5 and ended up here(hubby’s been here before so it wasn’t a random choice). This is a pretty small joint where the counter/registers take up ½ of the space, and the other ½ consists of a condiment table and a long table with about 6 bar stools that face the parking lot. There’s also tables and chairs outside. We each ordered a cheeseburger, and shared some fries and drinks. Holy mother of Maury the soda machine is AWESOMMME. It has a touch screen where you can choose from a number of sodas(where else can you find ginger ale as a choice?). I was craving regular coke so when I pressed the coke button, another screen came up with the choice of cherry coke, orange coke, and regular coke(if I remember correctly). How funnnnn. I can play with this thing all day long. The cheeseburger was In-N-Out good :9 Maybe the owner used to work for In-N-Out? I dunno. Fries were good, but a little too crispy for my taste. Shakes were good too(I took a sip… or two… of my kids’). Prices were pretty decent($ 2.69 for a cheeseburger and $ 1.59 for fries). I can see why my hubby comes here from time to time.
