Earth Wise Nutrition Center-San Clemente

I love this shop! Homey small business feel. Great selection and wonderful staff! They carry products other places don’t! I love going in and knowing I’m getting the vitamins/​supplements I need while being treated as a neighbor and supporting local businesses/​economy. Very helpful, if your looking for something specific call ahead. Definitely a good little shop to check out.

One of the patients wanted to go to a Vitamin Shop so she could get some vitamins for her bruising on her back. So, we called around, and found out this place opens at 11am on Sunday… so here we come!
Walked in at around 11:05…we were the only people in the store. The lady that works in the store was following us around and watching us like there was no tomorrow. I understand that I work with addicts, and sometimes they look suspicious, but really… must you follow us around the whole 10 minutes we are in the store?
They didn’t have very many options or stock for vitamins, and the store smelled funky, so I’m not sure if I’d go back. And they were way over priced. The patient I was with said you could buy most of the products they have online for about half the price… or at another store for a few bucks cheaper. The patient asked the employee if they have a certain cream to put on your body if you have muscle aches and bruises, and the employee gave her a look that clearly said «f you» and told me that most places don’t carry what she wanted. As the patient was wondering around, I was smelling the testers that they had out (they also sold scented oils). The employee had the nerve to tell me I shouldn’t be smelling those because it’d clearly make me out there than I already am (wtf…I am so not on anything)
The patient finally found what she wanted… so as we were checking out, the lady that was working there asked if we were from out of town. Me, no… I’m a local. But the patient I was with is from Alaska… but still, was she trying to justify why she was following us around?! Whatever lady. You just made me mad!
