Great and convenient location right in the heart of Mission Valley. Their drive-thru is always busy during rush hour, which is between 12−2pm. I usually like to order via the drive thru because 1) It’s convenient and 2) Their interiors are dirty. The few times I have eaten inside the Burger King, I’ve been met with sticky floors, tables with french fries crumbs, and bathrooms that smell so bad of their chemicals that it wreaks into dining areas. I have to say, I’m a sucker for the 10 nuggets for $ 1.49, which beats McDonald’s nuggets in value. The McDonald’s nuggets will always be the best, but Burger King’s is just as fried and as good to save me an extra dollar per order. Their nugget sauce is also good too, but the Honey Mustard is more syrupy than a McDonald’s. The $ 1 ice cream cone is a hit or miss depending on the worker who serves it to you. Sometimes, they’re frugal with the ice cream, other times they top it off like Mt. Everest. Typically, it’s during the non-rush hour times that you get a lot. I like that this establishment has the Coca Cola machine which dispenses different mixtures of flavors upon your choosing. Great location, okay food, but poor upkept interior cleanliness.

Service was very quick. Traffic is a little tricky with getting to this party last location. As usually, I ordered an original chicken sandwich. The only thing I ever order. It is fast food. It is not bad. I feel less guilty eating Bk fries than McDs fries but they aren’t as tasty.

The drive thru worker was very pushy and wanted us to end our order constantly. We ordered 2 whopper combos, a chicken combo, and an order of chicken fries and onion rings. She gave us 3 ketchup packets for all of that when we asked. And we were initially given one ranch so we asked for more and got another single one. Very Poor service at this location.

15 years ago I would have paid $ 10 for 2 meals at Burger King, today o paid $ 22 for the exact same meal I would have gotten 15 years ago. Nothing has changed. except maybe a little more processed. I will admit, since I was a child I have had a weakness for the original chicken sandwich. It must be the recipe, just the right amount of MSG mixed with sodium nitrate and chicken/seagull by product. Trust me, there can’t be anything good in that sandwich which is why I only eat it once every 6 years! Today we were brought in to see this black bun whopper. We ordered that as a meal medium size and my kryptonite also medium sized and some chicken fries. Long wait to get our food at 5pm when we were the only ones there. Would have been totally cool had it come out nice and hot and even more, the correct order! We received a regular whopper and inedible old fries! Had to wait another long time for the correct black whopper. As for the black bun, we feel that the watered down so called A1 sauce seemed to have trigger a sense in the brain that we could actually taste black food coloring. As for the chicken fries, had they all been pressed together as one, we would have had a great sponge to do the dishes later. As for the chicken sandwich, same great combination of chemicals as always! Maybe in another 6 years I’ll find myself possibly traveling across country looking for something to hold me over on the trip.

Nope. They screwed up my order major two weeks ago, they were busy at the time so I let it slide. Tried the again today, should have learned my leason. Half my order was missing, the half that was in the bag was WRONG! The onion rings were cold and there was no ice in the«Ice Tea!» In and out, smash burger and jersey mikes within 5 minutes of this place, do not go here unless you like not getting what you pay for!

I have visited this location a few times and normally I get my food off the grill or off the fryer. It’s always turned out pretty good. Most Burger King’s locations have really slow service but I would say this location is one of the better all-around for food and service.

Watch out for old French fries… Dried up and shriveled and chewy instead of crunchy. Not to mention they were a little burnt as well. Not very busy in the restaurant at 2:30 in the afternoon, but it is wrong to let something like that out of the kitchen.

Disappointed by the lack of speed here. Took an obnoxiously long time in the drive through. Feel like most of their items are overpriced. Quality is poor compared to competitors.

Worst Service I’ve ever had. I’ve worked fast food, it’s not rocket science people… Customer services is just as bad as their prep time and serving times… just bad all over. Stay away.

Came here because I had a few good coupons to use. The price was right($ 4 for a whopper meal), but the fries weren’t the best tasting. Service was slow and it can be a bit crowded in the nearby parking lots /drive thru. I do like their automated coke machine where there’s hundreds of drink combinations possible.

Just went to this location, and I was very disappointed. Only 3 cars in line including myself. I was making two separate orders and the man running drive-thru named PERRY was incredibly rude, and even gave me attitude over the speaker box. I’ve worked in fast food and it is not that hard. If you’re poor at customer service, you should look for a new job. Not to mention they forgot half my food — luckily I caught it before driving off.

If it wasn’t for their consistently working frozen drinks machine, I would never come here. There have been some times when I couldn’t believe how rude the person taking my order was. With the exception of those unsightly experiences, the other employees are okay and as I mentioned before I can always count on getting an iceee or my new summer favorite their frozen lemonades. Food consistency is average for fast food. Wait time can vary, but I haven’t been blown away in either direction about it. The buffalo chicken strips are not even pretend spicy and aren’t worth trying. I’m usually pretty happy with the mini Cinnabon’s. They come out warm and amazing! If you need a frozen beverage, I would pick this one over the North Park location but if you’re not in the mood for attitude The Habit is down the street and the service there is miles away. :-)

I was surprised — food was served quickly and accurately, was reasonably priced and service was friendly enough. Still fast food burgers and lettuce seemed a little stale, but the burger itself was tasty.

This is our«home» Burger King location. It can be crowded around typical meal times because it is located in a mall near businesses and lots of condos. This mall sees a lot of traffic. I use the drive through since home is so close. Wait times are average. Food is always cooked right and as you order(i have been to some where i have gotten cold fries). Friendly customer service.

A lot of people think that it’s silly to review fast food on Unilocal. But when I’m out & about and need something to drink or a small snack to hold me over, I check Unilocal to find the best place in the area, especially when I’m not familiar with where I’m at. Not only can I find the closest place, I can also find the highest rated fast food eatery. And let me tell you this: not all fast food places are created equal. This Burger King is pretty average. The employees there are very friendly. However, the service is usually pretty slow. Now, I’m not sure if this is the fault of Burger King or if it is the fault of the customers. I say this because every time I’m there, I usually wait behind a couple of vehicles who take quite a few minutes at the drive-thru window, but when I get there, I am quick, within 30 seconds usually. I like that you can get a small or medium Icee(Coke or cherry flavors) for $ 1. Both sizes are $ 1! They also have a decent $ 1 menu. My husband enjoys their $ 1 burger and says that there is more meat on it than the similarly priced McDouble from McDonald’s. Also, they have something that Mickey D’s doesn’t: onion rings. They do offer a Morningstar Farms veggie burger, but as far as I know, they cook it on the same grill that they use for the regular hamburgers. So this isn’t an option for vegetarians. However, it is a much healthier option for everyone else. And lastly, I used to enjoy Burger King breakfast. But now they do some very bizarre things to their breakfasts. I suggest staying away in the morning.

I mostly come to Burger King for the breakfast. And when I say breakfast, I mean dollar menu breakfast!!! I’m finding that many fast food places are competing for value type food menu items, and I have to say that’s a big + for me. I’m doing my best to cut back on eating out, but when you need breakfast quick(because you’re running late to work and can’t make breakfast at home, meaning me) this would be your best bet. Breakfast is the best meal of the day, don’t skip it, especially when you only have to pay a dollar(plus tax) for food. I either get the sausage with biscuit or the breakfast muffin sandwich. If I’m feeling extra awesome(or hungry) I’ll throw in another Washington for some hash browns. Soooooo gooooddd! Having it my way, breakfast style at SYU!(pom pom)

Lately I’ve noticed a lot of Burger Kings closed down. A few have already been sold and have turned into something new(Mira Mesa). Burger King had been good to me since I was a kid. I remember having birthday parties there and remember sporting that kick ass paper crown. They had those cool rides for a token and the best part was they didn’t have that creepy clown, Ronald. After moving to San Diego 11 years ago, I stopped going to Burger King. I dont know why. I never lost the love for that flame broiled goodness, I was just introduced to places like In N Out. So when I saw that Burger Kings were closing down, I decided to do my part and pay them a pity visit. This location sucks. The drive through is rediculously narrow. You gotta have skills to get through this thing unscathed. On top of that, the person working the drive through had trouble with English. Say what you want about having a national language, I think it’s the only way to ensure the people on the other end are able to take my order accurately. I shouldn’t have to be limited to ordering by number. They screwed up my order, the burgers dont have that flame broiled taste anymore, and their drive thru is a pain in the ass. Screw you BurgerKing. I dont care if they ALL go out of business anymore. At least then I wont have to see another one of their stupid commercials. That King is 10x as creepy as Ronald ever was.
