Excellent service. Friendly workers. Great food after a long day. Visiting from Orange County, food was excellent. Breadsticks were warm and delicious. Great pizza and salads.

Probably the best you can do in that shopping center but that doesn’t say much. Burgers and pizzas are decent but not spectacular

This is our go to pizza spot, actually this is the closest pizza spot(besides Round Table) but we like to support the local businesses. They send us coupons in the mail so we end up getting one their specials. Their pizzas are thin crust and extra large for about $ 21. Not too shabby considering we end up having leftovers. They also have wings, fries, burgers and salads. We usually end up getting a pizza but have gotten wings, salad, pasta and fries. The wings are pretty good and one of their coupons is pizza with wings for $ 22 pretty good deal if you ask me! We usually go for the mediterranean pizza or a veggie. I’ve had the bbq wings which I thought were great. Their fries are also delicious but not good for you. HAHA. We usually order pick up. Great pizza joint if you don’t want to have a chain.

Got the BBQ bacon burger, which was good but barely seasoned and had zero BBQ flavor. I ate it inside the restaurant where tables were clean but customers were subjected to hearing speed metal blasting from the kitchen over Christmas music playing in the dining room. My next visit will be for takeout pizza.

The pizza was great, I really liked how the crust was crispy, not too thick or chewy. It was light and crisp. The ingredients on the pizza I got tasted great as well. I’ll definitely have to come back.

We decided to place the order and come in and pick up the pizza. I thought it would be a nice choice for us if we could split both choices we had the last time we were there. We had the Pepperoni and Margherita slices and asked the girl if she could split them in half so we each could try two different slices. There is only one size of pizza and it’s pretty huge which now I think this place is definitely a keeper for eating in. The slices are big enough that it’s perfect for lunch or dinner and the combos are nice. It fills you up and I feel like I didn’t need but one slice. The pepperoni slice doesn’t need anything else added to it. I tried it with Parmesan Cheese and I felt the flavor of the Parmesan took away from the natural flavor of it. The Margherita slice had a little too much basil on it and what it seemed to me was there was too much garlic flavor. I wish we would’ve popped it in the oven because on the way home it lost some of the heat so I am assuming it wasn’t hot enough when we left the pizza place because they may have kept the pizza in the heated cabinets and didn’t heat it up in the oven.

Horrible! First time ordering from here and it was so bad I actually took it back, I’ll explain why. I got it delivered. The pizza was kinda warm, I dealt with it. The toppings slid from 1 side to the other(probably from the drive) making a complete mess trying to separate slides, I dealt with it. Ordered extra cheese and got probably less than average. Called to speak with the manager about this situation and just had a «don’t care» attitude offering me 50% off my next pizza? I was so pissed about how he handled the phone conversation that I drove to return the pizza and to show how bad it was! People working didn’t care! Horrible costumer service! I paid $ 27 for crappy pizza. It was so bad I made a Unilocal account just for this bad service I got tonight. Y’all been warned, 11−17−15.

The pizza was out of this world!!! I loved the pizza. The pizza was 5 stars. The staff was great. The guy who poured my soup, sniffed it after he put it in the bowl so I threw it out before I got home. That was a huge turnoff for me. This next statement is probably a bit dramatic but… My cheeseburger tasted the way poop smells. I took 2 bites and threw it out. My husband laughed when I said that. He said it wasn’t that extreme but he wouldn’t feed it to a homeless person. He got a burger too and the trash ate his as well. The fries were okay. Just okay. We got wings too, they were okay. Not too bad. He said the cookies were okay, soft but nothing to write home about. I got the chocolate bunt cake. It was good. Overall the pizza was the best thing. Maybe I should order something different next time but I’d rather just not go back and hit up the Greek place next door instead.

If I’m craving pizza after class, I will always choose this place. The slices are nicely sized, the price is decent, and the workers always slide in an extra slice for me

The cheese pizza crust pleasantly surprised me; thin, chewy with bite. Reminds me of my favorite pie in Penn Station @ 34th street in NY. But the comparison stops there! I also enjoyed the fries. Had great customer service too. I’ll definitely be back.

The pizza was great and so was the salad. Was somewhere between traditional and fancy food and it pleased us on such a hot day where we didn’t want to cook.

I’m not quite sure what the draw is here. I guess their lunch special is pretty solid: piece of pizza, a drink and choice of salad, soup, pasta or breadsticks for $ 7.49. The price is right, but the food is not stellar. I came here a clan of peeps and everyone had the same consensus: the food is pretty average. I mean, the house salad was good; it was filled with chickpeas, olives cucumbers and romaine, but the southwest soup was no beuno. It was lack luster and flavorless. I guess for $ 7 bucks though, you can’t really expect too much.

We order our work pizzas from here. They’re not very greasy so that’s a plus. Never been inside. Have yet to try the Buffalo chicken. Bbq chicken is a go-to and so is the Margherita. Highly recommend for local work parties and such.

Wasn’t really impressed with this place. The pizza was decent but way too expensive for what you get. I could tell it had been sitting out for a while too. A slice of pizza should cost no more than $ 2.75. I’d come here again but there is way better pizza in SD.

I LOVEPIZZA! There, I said it. I’m a huge pizza fan and this place did not disappoint. I had my pizza delivered and it came hot, fresh and on time. I ordered a cheese and BBQ chicken pizza and was impressed with both. Sometimes a good cheese is all it takes to decide whether a place is good or bad, and their cheese is DELICIOUS. Very New York-like and just the right amount of grease. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars is because I’m a pizza snob and 5 stars for pizza is a rare and beautiful thing.

I’ve ordered from The Works twice. The first time was an excellent quality pizza and on-time delivery right to my door. Today, however, we didn’t get the pizza till 45 minutes over the expected delivery time– it was lukewarm and the driver arrived at the wrong entrance. I would’ve overlooked the late delivery and forced trek for the pizza, but the pizza was burnt! I thought it tasted strange and I flipped it around to find a more than toasted/blackened underside. Gross. Not happy with today’s order– disappointed to say the least. ***After posting this review, I was promptly contacted by the owner of the Works to address my concerns. It was a very thoughtful gesture– we appreciate that he/this business cared to reach out to customers with unfavorable experiences. We are hoping to try their pizza again.

I’m within walking distance to the Ralph’s shopping center. When lunch comes around and I have nothing to eat, there are handful of places to choose. My top choice is The Works. The Works actually does work. They offer great pizza and burger lunch specials. The food is good. And dare I say it… they actually get their bread from Bread & Cie? You can also opt for a salad, if a heavy lunch isn’t your deal. There’s also pasta, wings and chicken tenders available. The menu is simple and, definitely, not overwhelming. When I eat here, it’s usually a pizza special(to go) or a burger(to dine in). The pizza is the fastest option. The busiest time is around lunch, Monday-Friday. But, getting a meal here isn’t too bad. Service is quick and friendly. Can’t complain. Definitely a solid choice, when it’s time to grab a bite.

Okay, THIS was some good pizza! I can confidently recommend a slice of the Margarita Pizza. The toppings were fresh and even though I don’t love my thin crust pizza to be too crispy, this was some good crust; crispy yet enjoyable! They had little baby cookies and there are three things I like about them: Small enough to not feel guilty, only $.50 each and tasty! Service was so friendly too! They have a check in offer too, so be sure to check in when you get there. I’m docking a star for atmosphere though. This is not a ‘destination’ spot. It’s in a strip mall and the inside décor isn’t unique. It looks very ‘food chainy’. But if you’re in the area, as I was across the way at BevMo, there are plenty of places in the strip mall to choose from, and this one was a winner.
