Pls note my review is just based on the taste of the burger I had after eating in and out burger the day before. And I must say that it was average with no special flavor to it. I was wishing I went back to in and out burger instead. The girls who work there are very nice and give great customer service though. I had the cheeseburger combo and it was just nothing special to my palate. Sorry

This place is awesome! They have great quality burgers at around the same price as an In-N-Out burger, but I prefer the habit burgers over In-N-Out. I love the tempura string bean fries. Their onion rings and regular fries are good too. Their mocha shake is delicious! I pretty much love everything on the menu, so it just depends on what you are in the mood for. Today, I ordered their veggie burger and it was very good! I also like their condiments area where they have jalapeño peppers, pepperoni, etc. You can also ask for a side of ranch to eat with your burger/fries. Great customer service: fast and friendly too!

I ordered the orignal char burger. I like the meat patty at Habit cause it’s not this super piece of paper thin meat and not frozen as well. But I love the In & Out special sauce, more like the amped up thousand island dressing. The bun is a sesame bun so that’s nice. The ingredients definitely look fresh with an American cheese slice, lettuce, tomtato and pickle. I think they could give a little more lettuce cause In & Out is generous about that. I knocked off one star because of the portion size and how they fried the sweet potato fries. Talk about being super cheap on how much they give you. I know you don’t get a bucket but way to not fill that little«paper boat.» My friend ordered onion rings and I think he got like six pieces or something. They’re not even hearty big pieces of onion rings you see at Phil’s BBQ. These are more breaded and not as thick. You could give a few more in my opinion. The regular fries seem to be the only okay for the ‘fair’ portion size.

Clean dining area and just a good ol American cheeseburger done the right way. Patties are cooked to perfection and buns are toasted just right! Definitely a must if you’ve never tried a double char!

I have this habit of going to restaurants and ordering foods that I do not like, only to realize it after the fact. For example, I do not like burgers but realized I was sitting at The Habit Burger Grill waiting for the Santa Barbara Burger. Let me just say that it was pretty good. I ordered the single patty sandwich — due to my dislike for patties — and saved a dollar. I cannot quite comprehend why so many people enjoy ground up meat… the texture is just a tad bit repulsive. Nevertheless, the sandwich/burger tasted good. A little greasy, but you can’t really expect anything else with a burger.

This is a great place for a dine in fast food experience. The food is much better than traditional fast food places. I had a burger and fries and left satisfied. The flavor was better than most as well. I suggest this place if you live or work in the area.

I love their onion rings and the char on their patties. The habit is right up there with in-n-out for me!

One of my favorite burger places! Easy review to write! If you go to a burger place and order something beside a burger then you may already be looking for some critical to review. Love the fresh ingredients Love the extra cheese, and… Love the fries!

I’m not in the _habit_of going for burgers too frequently…(sorry, I couldn’t resist…) but this place wasn’t bad! I was surprised at how friendly the service was, how clean and organized the place was for being a fast food burger and fries kinda place, and I LOVED the chile bar with all the jalapenos, tiny sour peppers, and pepperoncini’s. The flavor of the burger was good, nice charred flavor as advertised. Solid 3.5 stars.

We decided we wanted to try this place out after driving by this location a few times. As we walked in I felt a funny vibe as we entered the restaurant. Just by the décor I wasn’t impressed We walked up to the counter and placed our order and we found a nice booth to sit in and I went to get my drink and proceeded to sit down in our booth. I noticed we got a flashing pager to let us know when our food was ready. We were sitting and talking and going over the menu when I realized something was wrong. There was something on my sandwich that I didn’t want and just as my mom went up to the counter our pager was flashing and vibrating and our food was ready to be picked up. The cook did not fully cook my albacore tuna steak. As soon as I bit down into the tuna. It wasn’t fully cooked through. There was a paper thin sear and that was it. There were NO grill marks. It looked like it was on the grill for only 1 minute per side. The girl offered to ask the cook if he could re-do the order. We agreed but decided we didn’t want it after all. We got our money back and left the restaurant and decided to go somewhere else. I really think there is nothing that sets this restaurant apart from others. The menu is a pretty small and basic and nothing jumps out at me to go back. I will continue to eat at all of my other favorite burger joints.

Well what can I say about a burger joint? They make burgers, but what sets them apart is that they started in Cali. Which is a good thing since I’m from Cali and I like to support local businesses. As far as there burgers are concerned I would say there good. It’s not Mc Ds and it’s not In & Out. I would say its more like burger king or carls jr but with better ingredients. I would say order the double if your hungry, it’s not gonna be too much to finish. Trust me.

This place is a really great place. It has amazing burgers, chicken and also albacore tuna Sandwhiches. It is a simple menu… they have sweet potato fries, fried green beans, milkshakes, they also have a garden salad and Cesar salad. It is made to order so you will wait around 10 min but it’s worth it.

A great alternative to the usual In n Out burger. The burgers here are nice and fresh, not too heavy compared to in n out’s more soggy filled burgers(still good once in awhile!) the bread on the burgers here are nice and toasty and had a bit of a crunch. I always order the mushroom char $ 4.95 along with my boyfriends char burger $ 6.95 with an updated onion rings for our order. Both are great! I’d suggest NOT to get the tri tip sandwich, total let down. Stick to burgers here! And today we had a pleasant experience with Jessica the cashier. She was very welcoming. It’s always great to have such great customer service along such great food. Definitely a plus!

A-Ok. The burgers were only good when they first opened and my company had free burger, fries, etc coupons. LOL #cheap! anyway— its ok, doesn’t have a unique taste — where i crave to come here. They have crunchy onion rings that you can enjoy :)

I give this place 3 ½. It’s not a bad place, but not AMAZING in my book and only amazing gets 4 – 5 stars. But it is fast service, ok burger, good fries, and ehhhhh chocolate shake. I wouldn’t stay away from this place because it’s ok, but I wouldn’t jump through hoops to go to it

I’ve been seeing a lot of reviews for the Habit Burger Grill pass through my feed, I figured I might as well check it out since I had an appointment near the Murph and was hungry. We walked in and it was nearly empty. I think we hit it at just the right time, because after we had ordered and sat down, a line began to form and the place slowly filled up. It was very clean, spacious, and neat inside. I liked the outside dining option as well. Service was great. The woman that took our order was very friendly and helpful. She took the time to explain the menu to my son and laughed as he tried to give me recommendations. He wanted me to order a double burger, the kid who doesn’t eat beef. I opted for a single char burger instead. Sorry little dude, when you start eating the food you recommend, I’ll take you up on your ideas. Our food came out pretty fast. It was so hot you could see the steam. Right away my son began to bogard my fries. MYFRIES! He had his own. The nerve of that kid. He said the fries were so good he was claiming mine as his own, and that since he called it first, he had dibs. Who teaches him this stuff? I know it’s one of you Unilocalers. My burger was grilled perfectly and so was the bun. Those caramelized onions were just right since I ordered the burger with no mayo, they were so flavorful that I ended up not adding any sauces to it. They used just the right amount of pickles, lettuce, and tomatoes. I also liked the amount of non-soda offerings at the drink station. A lot of places only have one choice maybe and it’s usually that awful sweetened iced tea, yuck. Another nice thing I noticed was the second can for recycling. I don’t see this often enough and it’s always appreciated. My son was a fan of the candy burger in his kids meal, and decided he will definitely make this a regular spot. Guess we will be back.

I tried this place out for the first time and ordered the double char burger combo. It was a bit on the pricier end for a burger combo, but after receiving my order, I realized it was worth it. The quality of the ingredients was very fresh and tasted like a homemade bbq burger with all the fixings. My cousin ordered the onion rings instead of the fries and it proved to be a good choice, the onion rings are big and crispy. The double char actually reminded me of a big mac, but just a lot more fresh and filling. I think I had to pay for cheese, which was a bit strange, however. If you like spice, they had a few options including tabasco, A1, and jalapenos(a nice addition to the burger)! I just wish they had Dr. Pepper on tap, but overall expect to pay 8 – 9 dollars for a good and fresh burger meal.

Santa Barbara burger!!! All the way! So you walk inside to order and when your food is ready you go pick it up. They have about 6 – 7 offerings per category(burger/sandwich/salads/sides). It seems very similar to In N Out but a little better/filling/customizable/selection. My SB burger had a lot of goopy white cheese, grilled onions, avocado, shredded lettuce and GRILLEDPERFECTSOURDOUGH instead of a bun. I ate the whole thing. The fries were tasty and my friends Chicken Club looked awesome too. Service was good. Food was good. Viva la SB burger.

For some reason, I was really craving tri tip. I think it was because when I went to Stacked, I saw tri tip as an option for burger meat, then I immediately thought of my delicious sandwich from Eggslut that had tri tip… Moral of the story: I needed tri tip. My boyfriend mentioned how The Habit had tri tip, so I was all for that. I didn’t want to go to Stacked because I had gone a week prior, and I’ve always wanted to go to The Habit. It looks nice inside – like a high end fast food place. When I say it’s a «fast food place,» I don’t mean it as a bad thing. There’s no drive-thru, the interior/seating is comfortable, and there’s a nice little outside seating area(that’s what makes it «high end.») I also would consider it fast food because you order first, then get your food once your buzzer goes off! ANYWAY… THEFOOD. My tastebuds were screaming of happiness! The fries were so crisp and golden and tasted even better without ketchup. My boyfriend got the double char. It was huge! Two patties charged to perfection. As for my tri tip, I added avocado($ 1.25 extra YOWza) and chose BBQ sauce. It was really flavorful, not dry whatsoever. The thing is, the tri tip isn’t that pink, thinly type of meat. If you know tri tip, then you know what I’m talking about. Their tri tip was thick and cooked more thoroughly. I wanted the other type of tri tip(like at Eggslut and what the picture looks like at Stacked), but Habit’s version of it waa delicious, too. Regardless, I would eat it over and over again. I guess their milkshakes are popular? That’s what I heard. Then it was proven when I saw people just order that. Next time, I’ll have to get one for myself.
