For an amusement park, this is a great choice. They have a great beer selection, and the burgers are tasty. I know better than to order overcooked beef in these places, so I ordered the Sweet Blue($ 9.50) with a turkey patty — a fresh bun with sesame and poppy seeds started with the house sauce(like thousand island), lettuce, tomato, grilled turkey patty, and a generous scoop of caramelized onions and blue cheese. I was pleasantly surprised — it was a big patty(probably 6 oz) and was very moist, and the blue cheese and onions were great. I wouldn’t come to the park just to eat here but it is a great choice while you are here.

Meh not my favorite place to eat at SeaWorld. They have a bar inside that has beer and also proudly brews Starbucks drinks aka frappuccinos! The sesame bun for the burger was not that good. I ordered the Café 64 burger which has a hamburger patty and pulled pork. I can do without. If you want cheese it’s an extra $ 1.50. I got the Shamu cookie just because it’s a must if you’re at SeaWorld but it doesn’t taste good. Service was good though the workers were super friendly. I love how SeaWorld has paper straws to be eco-friendly! Oh yeah and they don’t have soda lids for that same reason, nor plastic bags…

The only thing on the menu here is burgers… EXCEPTFORKIDSMEALS. Can you get a kids’ burger here? Nope. Only hot dogs and fossilized chicken nuggets(seriously, do not get the nuggets). So, to make your kids happy, you pay $ 9 for a burger… then find out it will cost $ 1 extra for cheese. Pickles? $ 1 extra! For freaking pickles! Let me give it to you straight. Unless you are coming for the beer, skip this place. Get the burger at the Shipwreck Café. It’s actually much better(the buns there are super good), and you can put whatever you want on it for free!(Except for the special stuff like blue cheese crumbles, bacon, etc.) The service was crappy, too. Skip it.

It’s passable as a part of all day dining, but I wouldn’t stand in huge line(expect at least a 30 min wait) and pay actual money for this fare. To me the best thing were the fries loaded with pico de gallo, guac and thousand island dressing, and that’s not saying much. Family feasted on chicken nuggets, dry burgers and fries. My favorite thing is that it shares the building with the bar with multiple beer offerings on tap, always like to check out their selection, which does change seasonally.

I was really impressed with this place for park food. My brother and I really thought that theme parks are going in the right direction with food if this is what they are doing now. We needed something quick before our 1:00 Penguin Up Close Tour and this was between the entrance and the penguin exhibit. We figured burgers were a pretty safe bet. The burgers are build your own which makes it great for groups and different tastes. The setup is well done to get everyone through quickly. There are papers and pencils at the beginning. First you choose the meat type, dressings, cheese, and other toppings. There are a certain number of toppings included for the price and beyond that is an additional cost. Once at the counter you just hand off the sheet you filled out and the employee prepares your burger. The actual burgers are already cooked. At the counter you also order any sides like fries. The desserts are down the line and you just grab what you’d like as you head to the register. My burger was actually pretty good. The bacon on my burger was crispy and delicious. I’m not going to say it was the best burger I’ve ever had, but it was solid for park food. The fries were also decent and enough for the two of us to share. My brother also liked his burger and had zero complaints. Most impressive was the pricing. The café has average pricing and didn’t seem like bloated park pricing. This is really all you can ask for at a park– decent food that isn’t overpriced.

Had dinner here before going on our trek around Sea World. Hubby and I get the Kalua pork fries. There were pretty tasty. Pieces of pork, sour cream, green onions, and diced tomatoes over thick cut French fries. The pork was covered in a sauce that was a little too salty. It costs around $ 10.50. Pretty pricey for a small serving. I also got to try a chocolate covered Shamu cookie which was delicious! It was surrounded by light blue whipped cream. Yum! Probably the best cookie I have had. My daughter gave it a thumbs up. I liked the atmosphere in the restaurant. It was warm and decorated in Christmas lights. So cozy and inviting. There were plenty of tables. I didn’t like the fact that hubby spent around $ 100 for food. We also got a kids meal along with 2 Sea World plastic drink containers as a souvenir. After that, hubby didn’t want to spend anymore money on food. At least parking was free at Sea World. We probably won’t come back as it is located inside Sea World. It was just an okay experience.

We went into Café 64 on a Monday to get some lunch. Luckily there was a very small line so we got to order pretty much right away. We went there the week of Thanksgiving so all they had was Turkey bases dishes. My wife and I both had the turkey burger. We both thought that it was pretty good although they were a little cheap with the fries. The guy behind the counter was nice enough to offer to fill our souvenir cups with ice. I didn’t have a beer that day but on the way out I did take a look at the bar area to see what they were offering. They have pretty good selection of mostly local San Diego breweries.

You could get worse food at Sea World. This place has definite potential. The burger was great., but that’s the only thing that was good. The prices for all items are not marked. Pickles? No price. Salads? No price. Desserts? No price. When you walk up there is a basket with some pencils and ordering sheets in it. I ordered the«pure burger» which was supposed to be $ 8.50. I was charged $ 10.50 for it because I ordered a «custom burger». Whaaaat? There is no mention on the menu of a custom burger and to the initiated, it appears that the paper and pencil way of ordering is the only way to go. The employee who rang me up was rude and not at all helpful. The fries were not good. They were old and too salty. Currently, the only thing good about this place is the burgers. The beef tasted great and had a very natural flavor. The bun was fresh and it was well put together. Fix the employees’ attitudes, the French fries and the sneaky menu pricing and this place would be 5 stars.

Burgers were nothing special but I admit way better than McDonalds/Wendy’s/BurgerKing. You pick 4 toppings for your burger, example: mayo, ketchup, lettuce, cheese -$ 10.49. Want to add a slice of tomatoe?-$ 1 Onion? -$ 1 etc. etc. Fries, drinks, and anything else is extra. Way extra. I don’t know why I expected it to be more reasonable. The most frustrating thing is that after you walk a mile to get there because your child would like a burger you find that NO they DON’T sell burgers for kids, they only have hot dogs and chicken nuggets on the kids menu. :( $ 9.99 for a bun, pattie, and a piece of cheese because no way are you turning around and walking another mile. Major plus was the chef working. He was really nice and came by our table to check on us.

My husband and I went here for lunch at around 2:30 to 3:00. There weren’t a lot of people because it’s not really the prime hours for lunch. We encounter this«RUDEWITHANATTITUDEEMPLOYEE» come to find out she was the shift supervisor name«JEANETTE». She asked me «What do you want“and it made me feel like«Hey Stupid what do you want»? It was like we were an inconvenience to her… HELLOOOO, WE’RE the reason that you have a job. My husband order the burger with the piece of paper that you’re supposed to check what you want in your burger. Anyway, he gave her that piece of paper and at the same time trying to explain that he couldn’t find a pencil to fill in what he wanted in his burger. She right away said the pencil is on your left with a «MAJORATTITUDE». After that she asked me «What do you want?» to me. I got very upset so I told her nothing. My husband and I both agree that she was very RUDE. On our way out, we stop by the, GUESTSERVICES, to let them know our experience with«CAFE64». We really think she should be «DEMOTEDOUTTHEDOORFAST», with this kind of attitude I don’t even know how she’s a «SUPERVISOR». We’re definitely not coming back.

The burgers here are FANTASTIC! I can’t remember the name of the one I really loved, but it had guacamole on it. Try it, you won’t be sorry. They serve fountain drinks, as well as beer, wine, and starbucks frappucinos here. They have craft beer, too! I have had the Julian hard cider here the last 2 or 3 trips I’ve taken to Seaworld. It’s pretty good, I would recommend trying it. They do let you taste/sample the beers before you choose so you don’t end up getting something that you’re not going to like.(Definitely plus) The last couple times I’ve been here, they weren’t too busy at all. This place is air conditioned so if it’s a hot day at the park you might want to come inside and eat. They have indoor and outdoor seating, here. If you are a passmember, you also get a discount on your purchase. This excludes alcohol, though.

I liked this restaurant. Not too busy all the time and they serve beer!!! Great place to eat, a bit pricy but good food. The best food is the pulled pork sandwich, very juicy and the coleslaw is phenomenal. Good food, good beer, and good service!

The only place open for breakfast. You can get anything on the menu though. What I got: Baja Breakfast Bagel & Crazy Chips: it was like a burger, but with bagels for the buns. It had a beef patty, guacamole, egg, and some pico de gallo. The patty was way too big for that bagel and it had no flavor at all. The crazy chips were potato chips topped with guacamole, pico de gallo, and cheese. I enjoyed it, but the chips weren’t as crunchy as I would have liked it. Service: Stand in line and go up to the counter. Tell the lady what you want and she will make it for you right in front of you. Then go on with your way and pay at the counter. Plenty of tables so finding one shouldn’t be too bad.

Gosh, this place totally ruined my day at Sea World. If it wasn’t the 1 hour+ wait, it was the horrible attitude of one particular employee… But I’ll talk more about that later. WAITTIME: First off, I should have known to order some flatbread pizzas from the bar but most of my party preferred burgers — great! So I stood in line for an hour and 20 minutes!!!(Grrrrr!) Anyway, the wait time was horrible! By the time we got to the front of the line, I felt like I was rushed to place orders! Like, it was an inconvenience to be served. CLEANLINESS: it was okay. It didn’t look too bad, I guess. The area where you get the forms(middle of line) was extremely unorganized. No blank forms were out for those who wanted to place orders. CUSTOMERSERVICE: As I mentioned earlier, I felt like it was an inconvenience to be served. The employees(yes, that’s plural… and that was confusing) at the front were asking what I wanted so I told them exactly the orders my party wanted. There were other things that were not on the menu board, like strawberries and some of the desserts, so I took a whole deciding which to get. When I finally told her I wanted the cup of strawberries, she just plopped it right on top of their display case. Like, «hello! I’m going to be eating that!» That was pretty rude. And if that wasn’t enough, it was painstakingly such a hassle for them to take our drink orders. Definitely not a great ordering experience. TASTE: The Just Pure(Natural) Burger was dry, not warm, and did not taste good. It was nasty! My family had the Baja California burgers and they said it was okay. My niece had the Just Pure, and she did not enjoy her burger. She didn’t finish it. I will say that the Strawberries were sweet and delicious. This was the best thing we ordered besides the drinks. PRICE: Way overpriced but what amusement park charges a low rate? THEREALTICKER? The one employee that made my experience bad just had a nasty attitude. Not toward me, thank goodness, but toward another guest. She totally handled it the wrong way! What exactly happened, you ask? Well, a guest/lady came from out of nowhere and just grabbed a set of homemade kettle chips. I didn’t even see this happen until I heard the female employee(who, by the way, had more eye make up than a drag queen) yell to the almost-patron in the most rudest tone, «No! No! You need to go to the back of the line!» Lady: «But I just wanted to buy these chi – « Ms Eyeshadow: « — -No! You can’t! Go to the back of the line!» No «please» or anything! She was damn rude. I mean, I get it, the lady cut in line but the employee caused a scene that just made it so horrible. The guests in line around me including myself were shocked. I mean, there wasn’t anyone at the register because the other guests were still picking out their food. She could have easily let her pay. THEPROBLEM: The main problem is just how this place is set up. I mean, there is only ONE line to the burgers, same like if you just want a drink, or a dessert, or homemade kettle chips! Management needs pointers from Disneyland. Take, for example, Pizza Port at Disneyland. Once you step foot into Pizza Port, everything is clearly organized by the signage: Salad on one side, Pasta over here, Pizza over there, Drinks in the center, and other little snacks near the register. All guests are free to roam around and select what they want to order. Then once they select their options, they go to one of 3 or 4 registers to make their purchase. Quick. Easy. Simple. Why does Sea World make it so complicated?! Seriously! That is why the Ms Eyeshadow is so rude and all the guests are impatient and hungry and that is why this place has such a low rating. The only good thing about Café 64 is the beautiful signage at the front near the flags. That’s about it. Do not walk past this beautiful sign… It’s deceiving inside.

If all theme parks featured a restaurant just inside the entrance with $ 10 beer samplers, I’d go ahead and get pregnant and start the business of birthin’. But as far as I know, this is a highlight exclusive to SeaWorld SD. This café is just to the right of the entrance and right in the middle is the brewery portion. For the low price above, you get four good-sized sampler cups in a variety of your choosing, of local beers and some domestics(Landshark, Blue Moon, etc). Opted to try a cider, a nut brown ale, a lager, and a smoked port– good variety and good flavors. Had I been in the mood for a meal, I’m sure they would have paired well with one of their burgers.

The burgers are ok size. You built your own burger for$ 9.99,and that s only for a burger no side. The chips that looks fried potato chips are kinda stale not crunchy. Children’s menu is not a bad price for approximately $ 7, it includes hot dog or chicken nuggets with homemade potato chips and a drink. The hot dog looks lovely done. Afraid to taste it, apparently my niece liked it. I liked my burger that was tasty. on downside, after four choices of typing e for your burger, they change extra buck for each topping. The servers were nice but slow, they should’ve got extra help. Overall, the experience was ok nothing to be excited bout.

Café(Nintendo) 64. The last time I was at Seaworld this place used to be the Anheuser Busch garden and sampling pavilion. Now it is a restaurant, but they do still have a large section inside devoted to dispensing beer(the largest variety and selection is surely found here.) There is a fair amount of indoor seating in the nice air conditioned building and there are also bathrooms and items on display for u to look at while u eat. This place is one of the 4 locations that participate in the All Day Dining program and they are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. During breakfast they offer«Bagel Burgers» which is essentially just a turkey or beef patty and egg slapped between a bagel w/or w/o their«our sauce» which seemed to be thousand island dressing. For the remainder of the day they specialize in burgers. They have several options such as the«Baja Burger» or the«Bacon Bacon Burger», but they do offer the opportunity for u to create your own burger by filling out options on a check-mark box list(such as Rounds Premium Burger’s and Slaters 50⁄50 do). You can choose either a beef, turkey, or chickpea patty, a choice of cheese, sauces, and toppings. Unless u wish to pay extra, u are limited to only 4 choices of toppings(yup, that includes sauces and cheese as well). Heck, there’s even a spot at the bottom where u can name your creation(like Slater’s 50⁄50), however given this type of setting this feels pointless and will prolly only appeal to children as they won’t even refer to ur burger by the name you’ve just given it. The beef patties here were average and seemed to be some that could easily b bought in bulk from places like Costco or Smart and Final but they were definitely way better than the turkey option. Buns were a little on the firmer side and the cheese options have all been grated except for the American cheese option(‘Murica). Toppings were actually very plentiful such as the bacon or mushrooms. Trays are located under the ordering counter and condiments and utensils are located towards the right of the counter. While Café 64 is a pretty decent place on its own, it’s certainly one of the better options for the All Day Dining program and offers the lure of customizable burgers and a large selection of brew. Seaworld offers a «Dine with Shamu» experience, but what if they had a «Brew with Shamu» experience as well? Just some food(or beer) for thought.

This is a restaurant in SeaWorld. The pluses: –It’s located indoors and there’s air conditioning therefore you don’t have to eat in the blazing sun. –the burgers are big –the kid’s chicken nuggets is huge –the chips that came with the kid food is good. –service is fast. Minuses –the kid’s hot dogs looked nasty. It was a pasty pink instead of red. It looked like it wasn’t cooked. –the ordering process was confusing. The clerk just let us stand there for a couple of minutes because we didn’t know where to order. She finally spoke out, are you ready? So we knew to go through her. –more confusion, we didn’t know where the cafeteria trays were. People left and right of us had trays and we couldn’t find them. I even circled around the restaurant to look for the trays. After I asked the clerk, she said they were located below the cafeteria counter?!? You mean the counter where a gaggle of customers were standing? –burger may be big but the patty looked like the processed ones you buy at Safeway. It doesn’t tasted good either. The clerk put too much«specials sauce» on my burger so it was a soggy mess.
