Went through the drive thru, only ordered the 4 for $ 4 meal combo thing. One spicy chicken sandwixh, one burger, one fry, one drink. Then when i left the drive thru, i noticed they didn’t even give me my drink. Wth? I went back inside to get my drink, and she gave me a small drink! That point, I was just like wow. Okay this place sucks. They don’t even serve the green burrito all day long? Won’t return :/

Totally meh experience. Stopped in for a quick lunch today 12÷17÷15 at 12:26, server Daniel wasn’t very customer friendly at all. Asked for Famous Star with Cheese but no onions. I was the hit with the $ 1 extra charge for using my debit card? What the heck? I had no time to go hunting for a Mickey D’s. Got my burger, which was warm, not hot and it had onions which I said i didn’t want! Never again.

Don’t ask the help why their total is more than $ 2 above the listed price on the drive-thru menu. All they can do is push the buttons and show you the screen. THEYDON’T KNOWWHY! Exercise in futility! CJr, FIXYOURDRIVETHRUPRICES!!!8

I eat at various Carl’s Jr locations from time to time. I’m not a major health food guy but enjoy a decent quick burger from time to time. On Friday, December 4th, I stopped in this location to grab a quick breakfast, was feeling a bit hungry but did not have enough time to sit down for a breakfast. Ordered the breakfast sandwich burger combo which comes with hash browns and a drink. I wasn’t able to completely finish the sandwich and barely touched the hash browns, something didn’t taste exactly right. I thought maybe it was the consistency of the burger, maybe too much ketchup or the way the eggs were cooked or just the combination of the ingredients together were just not jiving with me. About 30 minutes later, I felt a little queasy in the stomach, just enough to keep me from wanting to have lunch a few hours later. On the way home, I was able to manage eating a light dinner, but the added food in my stomach from that meal really did not feel that good, I knew something was not right. I had a lot of stomach acid and was getting reflux, so I took some antacids to relieve that. Early the next morning, around 4AM, I woke up to the feeling of extreme nausea and the feeling that I had to vomit and proceeded to do so. Sorry for this, but I wanted to be truthful and factual as possible. I proceeded to vomit an additional 4 – 5 times up until around 1PM and ran a fever up to 101°. Now that the vomiting part was over, I was still running a fever and still suffering from acid reflux, so again, took antacids for relief from that. Later that night, I was able to eat a small portion of yogurt, ate that in case it decided on a return trip. Sunday morning, was feeling better, fever was going. Chest and diaphragm are in pain from the vomiting, but was able to actually eat something and not feel nauseous. I know you can get food poisoning from anywhere, and I really didn’t want to shame Carl’s for this, but just in case there was an ongoing issue with food handling/prep here, I posted this for the awareness factor for all. I would probably still eat at Carl’s, but it may be a while until that day comes

Stay away from this location. The fries taste like the metal from the fryer. The burgers are way over cooked and they always screw up your order. You tell them no tomatoes because you are allergic and they put extra on there. Then not to mention you bring up the issues to management and they tell you to get f’d.

Yo your on the higher end of fast food so I suspect when my husband and I pay 22 for one meal it’s right and doesn’t take like artificially. I orders a double mushroom and Swiss burger they rung me up for that but got some cheap tasting burger with squared patties. Husband wanted gauc on his burger didn’t put it on it but payed for it. This place also runs pretty slow all Carla jr. Function really slow out here. Super disappointed.

I ordered a sausage egg and cheese combo from here this morning using the drive thru. Got to work only to find that they didnt give me my hash browns that were supposed to come with it hence making it a combo. All I got was my drink and sandwich. They constantly screw up orders here due to employee turn around rates. Always have new workers here every single week or something. Management here seems to be seriously lacking in the training dept. Other examples of order screw ups… ordering the same combo and getting an egg only sandwich… getting a completely different sandwich in the right wrapper… getting a size down from the what i ordered… and the list goes on. Obviously Im not the only one who thinks this location is horrible. I’ve decided that I will no longer come here no matter how conveniently close to work it is. Rather go out of the way to Jack in the Box off Mira Mesa than come to this location again.

On 5÷20÷15 I ordered the all natural burger without onions or cheese with fries and a drink. I wanted to support Carls Jr. for serving grass fed hormone and antibiotic free beef. As I write this I realize how low quality fast food burgers must be if they aren’t advertised this way. I wanted to like the burger, but I didn’t. It wasn’t hot enough, there was too much lettuce getting in the way and probably cooling it down, and the mustard/mayo combo didn’t help. Thousand island dressing is the best in my opinion. The fries were not hot either which tells me they were no where near fresh. DISAPPOINTED!

ZERO stars. This location used to be pretty sharp, until recently when they decided to replace the entire crew with mexicans who can’t understand plain english. Fucked up my entire order, you shouldn’t have people working the drive thru if they can’t even speak english, this isn’t mexico. Also, what the hell kind of California burrito doesn’t have guacamole? Epic Fail.

Every single time I come here I always throw up. I don’t know if it’s just too greasy or what. I also do t like that they took off sweet potato fries now.

Old ass food, I used to in the fast food business for 5 years and I can tell even by the look of the food how long it’s been sitting in one of their heating trays. I’m surprised my food was old during their lunch rush.

Rebecca is the worst cashier there. She gives attitude and talks smack about the customers in front of the customers. We told her to tell them to make our burgers plain and she gave it with everything on it. There was hair in my burger. Little bit of fries. Very very disappointed.

Hello Unilocalers. I was disappointed in my all natural cheeseburger. My burger was over cooked and very dry. I knew something was out of the norm when I was asked to wait at the ordering area for 10 minutes until the drive thru called me to move to the front. I asked the drive thru person if the all natural burgers are good and she said«I haven’t had complaints yet». Well I’m complaing now. Check out how over cook this burger is. Yes. It sucks.

The food isn’t always fresh, it’s ALWAYS greasy as hell and it’s like they don’t drain their fries. The customer service is just OKAY too. Gets an extra star because of its convenient location by the freeway.

Slowest Carl’s Jr EVER! I went through the drive thru since I had a fussy newborn in the car and needed to grab something quick to eat… Yeah, 15 minutes in the drive through with a screaming newborn waiting on two burger meals was miserable. Not even anything complicated, I could have gone to a sit-down restaurant and gotten two burgers, two fries and two cokes faster than that.

I’ve come to this location regularly, mainly because of convenience as it is only two blocks away. Getting my order through the drive-thru, I’ve become desensitized to the insanely LONG wait times and have wondered what’s the issue. Today, deciding to eat my meal inside, I’ve discovered why. The workers inside are tremendously SLOW and INEFFICIENT. It literally took five minutes for me to even get my order taken, and that’s with only one customer in front of me. And when that guy was finally done with his transaction, the cashier walked off and attempted to deliver food to another customer, rather than take my order, leaving me waiting. I was waiting so long, he had enough time to move from table to table looking for the order’s customer, only to return with the tray of food undelivered. My order was finally taken when another employee decided to open a different register. During all this time, I observed food sitting for minutes in warming bins and on trays, getting no attention, waiting to be packed into bags. When my food was finally brought to my table, it was after about ten minutes. I could not confirm the actual time, as I was NOT given a receipt.

This has to be the absolute slowest Carl’s Jr in San Diego county. And the staff never seems to have any since of urgency. Nor do they ever think to open an additional line when things get backed up… which is always.

The big draw about this particular Carl’s is it’s convenient location right off the 15 fwy, it’s quick and friendly drive-thru PLUS they take multiple Carl’s coupons(even the expired ones). The savings can be considerable, especially when you’re short on cash and need to refill your tank. Now, if that won’t bring me in for a couple Famous Stars with Onion Rings, I dunno what will.

I have never been a big fan of Carl’s Jr’s lunch and dinner food. I think their fries and burgers are average at best. I think sometimes they make these special burgers that are good commercials but are overrated. On the other hand, I went to this Carl’s Jr the other day for coffee after Subway had run out of coffee and I realized they had biscuits and gravy. The biscuits and gravy were awesome. They had the gravy in this special soup container separate from the biscuit so you can get home and pour the gravy on the biscuit, avoiding the food getting soggy,.
