It is worth noting that November 3, 2015 was advertised as a special promotion day at Subway because of National Sandwich Day. Commercials, Twitter and online publications said that if you ordered a sandwich AND a medium drink you would receive a sandwich of equal or lesser value for free. Keeping this in mind I wanted to buy my friend a sandwich so he could get 2 as a favor. Since he was in another state(I am in Oregon), I downloaded the Subway app since when I went to the store here in Eugene, OR on Pearl St(where I did in fact receive my free sandwich) there were advertisements for the app that said you could order online. On the app one of the banners that pops up on the main screen was also advertising the free sandwich promotion. It noted that if you ordered your sandwiches + med drink, it would get reimbursed. I was worried that since I wasn’t in state with my card, I wouldn’t get the reimbursement though. So I proceeded as follows: I ordered the sandwich AND the medium drink online. I took a picture of the confirmation and sent it to my friend to pick up his sandwich, drink and free sandwich. The confirmation said that the sandwich would be ready in 15 minutes. About 10 minutes after I ordered, I called the store to make sure that the free sandwich would also be included. A male employee answered and assured me that not only was my order being worked on ATTHATMOMENT but their store’s promotion was a free 6-inch, regardless of the fact that I’d ordered a foot long. I said that was fine, and requested that the free sandwich also be the sandwich ordered online(chicken bacon ranch, cucumbers, lettuce, green peppers, ranch sauce on Italian). He said that he would also make the 6-inch sandwich and make sure it was the same as the original order. I did not get his name because I didn’t think I needed to, he was friendly and courteous on the phone and assured me my requests would be met. My friend arrived at the store about 20 minutes after I ordered his sandwich. He said not only did he not get his free sandwich(he was told he couldn’t get a free sandwich even though I’d already called ahead to confirm he would) but he also had to wait in line behind everyone while their sandwiches got made, THEN the order I’d already sent in even though the app AND the store employee had assured me that the order would be done by the time he arrived. Please let me know why not only did the store not follow the advertised promotions, didn’t even follow the promotion that was different than the national campaign but just lied to me about my order and what I was going to receive. I saw the subway app as a cool concept on par with fast food pizza apps that would allow me to communicate with my friends across the country through sending gifts of your food. However, it seems that the advertised capabilities are not being met in stores.

Service is usually pretty good, though parking sucks here. There is one employee who always looks like his mind is elsewhere who always forgets to put tomatoes on my sandwich. So ignore the signs that tell you not to, park in the Carl’s Jr parking lot since it takes up 90% of the parking lot and make sure you watch him put tomatoes on your sandwich.

Service is always fast & the place is kept very clean. Usually take my food to go but the food looks so good when they’re done preparing it I want to eat right away! Looks so tasty!

I come here every morning after the gym. I have to say that this is the most well-run Subway that I have been to. The staff is super professional and friendly. The oven toasts my sandwiches just right. They always have hot coffee. There is rarely a line. Seating is always clean and there is plenty of parking. Oh, not to mention, it’s so easy to get in and out of here due to the proximity to the 15 freeway. Great restaurant.

This Subway is the best! Friendly workers greet me everytime I walk in to purchase my lunch. It is always very clean and I love that the employees all seem happy and eager to get my sub made perfectly. This is the only subway that makes my meticulous sub the way I want it. THANKSGUYS!

I Really like Subway and their $ 3.25 breakfast combo is a great value. I was surprised that they had no Non-sugar sweetener choices for coffee. When I asked one of the workers he apologized that they did not carry any. The manager(Name begins with an S.) who was inappropriately on the phone in the middle of the restaurant cut into the conversation I was having with the employee and said(with short demeaning attitude) they were expecting sweetener in two weeks. It seems to me that if it were my restaurant I’d spend $ 10.00 go to smart and final by some splenda and solve the problem and make my customers happy. It also seems to me from my own experience and from observing her interaction with the other employees that this manager could benefit from some customer service and management training. Overall the food quality and service from the other staff was good.

It was ok. Other server provide fast service and the footlong looks nice and clean. But other server, when they make the preparation on the footlong it did not look nice and clean. What I meant by this, bread was soggy and vegetables were look like got hit by storm.

I went to subway and got a footlong subway club for $ 5 at Poway which they advertised but was charged $ 7.25 at the subway in Carroll Canyon. I asked the worker why the price difference and all he said was that each subway is different. Why have a national advertisement that it’s $ 5 but dont actually give u that price? I gave it a 2 stars because the guy was nice and gave me a discount.

Love the location of this subway. I always get the same thing, the veggie patty with everything except lettuce and Jalapenos AND extra ONIONS ! Every time I order it at this location, the young helpers at the front are so cute about it —«are you sure, extra onions?”– and they look up with a puzzled face. LOL, and I say, YES! Don’t be scared, just pack those onions on! Anyways, the kids that work here are so helpful, they seem to always do a good job on my sandwich, and there’s rarely a line here, so that’s what I love. When the sushi place gets busy next door, I just come here!

I’ve been here twice in the past few weeks and they play this horrible heavy metal music… Seems a little inappropriate for a family sandwich shop. Just sayin. The sandwiches were pretty basic, same subway sandwiches you find anywhere.

Worst Subway I have been to. The bread(jalapeño cheddar) was stale, which made the whole sandwich taste awful. Even my son, who normally gobbles up his salami sandwich in minutes, stopped eating his halfway. Don’t think we would go back to this location.

I generally like Subway and that is the only reason I am giving this particular location 2 stars. NEVERORDERONLINE! They claim that you can order online and save time, but it will ultimately just frustrate you. I ordered online 1 hour before I intended to pick it up and wrote the specific pick up time in as instructed. I was actually 5 min late myself, meaning the food should have been ready for at least 5 min when I got there. When I arrived there was nothing ready at all. Then I got a lame excuse from the worker that it had been«busy.» Strangely, there was one customer in line being helped by another worker and this gentleman was stocking chips. There was only one additional customer in the restaurant who was half way done with his sandwich. So the 17 year old Subway guy was just insulting my intelligence by lying to me claiming it was busy. Clearly, he is just incompetent. Don’t advertise online/text ordering if you don’t follow through! This location was actually out of my way a bit, but I figured it would save time to go to the location where I could just pick up the food. So not the case. I should have just gone to a different location closer to work, which I was late to thanks to the lying teenager.

Subway, always fresh to order. I love subways and it’s hard to have problems with a store that freshly makes the food in front of you with the ingredients you choose. However, one problem I had was that I had a free cookie coupon from another store. I have always been able to use my free cookie coupon from any store AT any store. However, this particular store told me I couldn’t use it because it wasn’t from THEIR store. Not sure if subway changed their rules about free cookie coupons but if you have one from another store and want to use it here… BEWARE! BOO! scared ya!

I like Subway as a general rule. Our company just moved buildings so I went to this subway for the first time the other morning for a quick bite and a cup of coffee. It kind of put a funk in my morning that they were out of coffee when I went in there. They said they were waiting on a manger to go to another Subway to get more. Only in the last year or so has Subway moved into the breakfast routine. With problems like these they are going to have a tough time competing with places that have been doing breakfast for years.

Spicy Italian on Flatbread, toasted, with spinach, tomatoes and a drizzle of oil/vinegar and salt & pepper. $ 5 select foot longs after 5PM. Their tip jar was empty so I threw in a buck. So much for being $ 5. The End.

Subway has their food down to a science. As long as you’re not out in the middle of nowhere, you’ll get a consistent sandwich. This location off Carroll Canyon Rd is no different. If you’re in the area and looking for a decent sandwich at a decent price, come on by. There’s a Carl’s Jr in the same complex, so if you’re looking to cut a few calories, pass it up and come on in to Subway. The employees have been nice every time I’ve been here.

The never ending salad! amazing. Subway is known for its speedy style sandwich making and a great variety at that and which fits most any budget and diet. but did you know any sub sammy can be made into a salad? YUP! why do they not advertise this? especially if your cutting carbs. well today, again I got my «Spicy BMT» on spinach. YUM! everything but pickles and a dash of Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper and my Olive oil and red wine vinegar to go in little packets. Yeah! $ 5.25 they added tax.41 total $ 5.66 really? Built it just as you would a sammy but say, «make mine a salad» thats it! Spinach was fresh crisp and tasty, they cut the veggies, meat and cheese into perfect size and well I uploaded a photo so you can. Suffice to say I am full and still, my salad looks like I didn’t even make a dent in it, I am always surprised by how much they actually can fit into that plastic«to go» bowl. They don’t have the guacamole like they show on the sandwiches or commercials, but since each store is independent thats to be expected, this one offers fresh avocado slices at a small fee, but then all stores charge for that and toasting your sammy. Anway– I had a few girls in the office that are carb dropping and hadn’t even thought of Subway for salads, they were pleasantly surprised when they got their salads and now Subway has been added to our rotation of lunch ideas. This Subway is clean, staff is friendly and they have out door seating. The parking sucks major but that’s cuz its in the same plaza as a fast food joint, sushi restaurant, hair salon, cleaners and 3 large business buildings– ya! IKR?! — Whoever was the strip mall building /architecture/planning for this was a real«GENIUS!» yes I am being snarky! If you have not tried the breakfast wraps– try one, they are really good, I get the 6inch w/egg whites, spinach, jack cheese and a sprinkle of S/P, when I get to the office I dash a little garlic powder! yumm. Get in early and get out! its a logistical nightmare.

Raspberry Cheesecake Cookie? Wow, I haven’t been to Subway in a while. Golden Broccoli Cheese Soup? Glad to finally find a Subway that sells soup. I remember eating this years ago at the UCSD Subway. My first broccoli cheese soup experience and it was delicious. This particular Subway is very nice and the people here are professional. In addition, this place is right off the I-15 freeway and close to Miramar College. I was brave today and tried the Orchard Chicken Salad sandwich and really liked it. Unique for sure. I feel it’s one of those hate it or love it deal.

This Subway opened a few weeks ago. It’s owned by the same people that operate the one located at 9460 Mira Mesa Boulevard. For the most part, Subway is Subway. This one looks nice, has a decent amount of seats, and the staff are friendly. Parking is a little difficult but not impossible. They up the employee count for the lunch rush which helps since there are a number of businesses located in the immediate area. Since I work across the street, I’m glad this one opened up and was opened by experienced franchisers.
