I recently had an unfortunate issue with one of your stores. My gorlfriend and I discovered the Hollister brand and have been purchasing most of our clothes with you guys. We love the clothing and are hoping this recent miscommunication is only a reflection of a particular store and not the brand. We bought a pair of jeans on the 10th of January. My boyfriend wore them the next day and said they were too big. We tried to exchange them on the 16th and were informed we needed either tags or a receipt. We gladly carried our purchase back out and drove a half hour home to find the receipt. Ok, no big deal. We are understandable business people and happy to oblige to policies and procedures. We had a work trip and it wasn’t until the 30th we could find the time to go back for the exchange with the receipt, still within the 60 days and pants still in «original condition». Unfortunately, the manager, Mandy, informed us that now she refused to do the exchange claiming the clothing had been worn. We were both thrown off by her response because all we were trying to do was get a smaller size from the beginning and had been denied now twice for different reasons. He wore the pants once and decided they didn’t fit. But we tried to understand her response and wondered what it was we were doing wrong. Well, after more research, i discovered in your return/exchange policy: «Returns without the original sales receipt or a gift receipt and returns of merchandise purchased in another country will receive a merchandise credit in the local currency for the lowest price at which the merchandise has ever sold.» So I was kind of bummed we had been denied our right to exchange clothing originally. We tried one more time to speak on contractual/policy terms with Mandy but she continued to repeat her answer. Then went as far to insult my intelligence by stating the policy was not a contract and it was susceptible to various managerial interpretation.(Or «Hollister stores can interpret the policy differently» in Mandy’s words.) All we’ve been trying to do is exchange the pants for a smaller size. Neither of us have ever encountered this situation with a store before so I’m not sure how to go about this. We like the brand. We walked in wearing all Hollister clothes. We weren’t/aren’t asking for money back. We are still within the exchange policy parameters but feeling disrespected by a manager and utterly confused to how we should go about this. Any help you could give us would be much appreciated. :) Come to find out Hollister just said to return it to another store! Wow

Very cute clothes but without any sales, their items are very pricy. If you see something you like, I recommend waiting until there’s a sale of some sort because everything here goes on sale eventually! Right now it is 40−60% the entire store, excluding new arrivals and body care, I believe. The service here however, is hit or miss. The best service I’ve ever had here is just about average or decent. It is rare if a worker asks how you are doing and if you need help or a dressing room, even if you’re the only shopper in there. I had an incident last night where I was in line for the register and an employee took her very sweet time walking to the register, she continued to converse with her coworker while she was behind the counter with me and her coworker was at a rack about ten feet from her, and she did not say anything to us except the price we were to pay. Anything else I heard from her was her conversation with her coworkers. She also was so distracted that she closed the register without giving us our change and had to call someone else over to help her. There was no apology from her and this could have been avoided if she was just doing her job properly. — Originally four stars for cute clothes — Minus one star for high OG prices — And minus two stars for extremely sloppy customer service.

This location is super close to my work and we often come to this mall for lunch. I have been to this hollister about half a dozen times. I have never been greeted by anyone working here or asked if I needed help finding anything. Although I will admit I don’t like to be hassled while shopping it would be nice to know the people working are actually there to help. No one is ever in the fitting room so it seems to always be messy with clothes left in the rooms or on the floor. Why would I want to buy any of your merchandise if you don’t even clean up your fitting rooms? There is no sense of urgency in the staff. They will let the line build and take their sweet time walking over to the register. I’ve worked retail and always let the customers know I’d be right with them and thank them for their patience. I only come in here because I am dragged in by a coworker who loves Hollister. Do yourself a favor. Take your hard earned money to a place who has pleasant and friendly staff! I am a shopaholic and this location has not gained me as a loyal shopper.

Why are the sleeves on the Polo shirts so short at Hollister? I’m not a big fan of their clothes. And the music is always so loud you can’t ask any employee a question without yelling.

Mail order customer service is ran by kids. Very unprofessional. 1st order we placed with Hollister was shipped incorrect. Operator tried to tell us to pay to return package — not.

If you’re a petite Asian like me you will love that their shorts, skirts and tees actually fit you like they’re designed to! This place is like Abercrombie Light — similar styles but slightly lesser quality and definitely a lot cheaper, especially when the clothes are on sale. I just bought the cutest summer plaid shorts for $ 15! I’m not going to lie. I always feel too old to shop here but everyone at the store is always really nice and I love the way the clothes fit me.

This store I must say, their fashions here are like A&F but their sizes are not the same. the employees at this location I feel are like mainly hiding in the back stock room and are no where to be found when you really need to try some close on. lame sauce. All the styles of A & F but at cheaper prices… and actually right across the way. Found a lot of cute things here at this small store. Seems very popular as I had to wait for a fitting room numerous times.
