I have been going to this place for more than 10 years and the quality of the food is still the same unlike other places that change the quality after a month or so of inauguration. The area not so great and the parking area is constricted but has not been a factor.

This one truly is my favorite Chinese food place. I have been coming here for avery very long time, my grandparents would always buy food from this place and I have done Best Chinese food spot, its a family business so it’s nothing fancy but the food is Good Fresh Every time I get it, price is like no other under 10 dollars and 2 people can eat. My fav is the kumpow chicken, orange chicken, with half rice/chowmain couple of lumpias on the side… can’t go wrong. the place was refurbished so its clean.

Love the food here! Broccoli beef and honey chicken is my family’s fave! I’m always skeptical on how food is prepared in these small hole in the wall places but you can kinda see back where they’re cooking, it looks clean. They have a high turn around since it’s busy there so the food is always fresh. It has good spring rolls and even have fried chiles gueritos there!

Hardly worth the money. I came across this place merely because I was in the area and in the mood for Chinese and it was there. Checked the reviews and thought I’d be getting a great experience but this turned out to be a big waste of my time and money. Communication was difficult to begin with, and while I am used to the family owned Chinese restaurants, the guy working at the time really didn’t attempt to clarify any information on my order. He seemed more interested in taking my order and pushing it out as fast as humanly possible. Not a problem, once again that’s great… until you make the wrong order. Actually I’m not even sure if the wrong order was made or they gave me the wrong order, but either way what a bummer. So I ordered the Orange Chicken, pictures looked great, and thanks to Panda it has become my go to Chinese meal. I ended up getting a bed of noodles which weren’t too bad layered with what appeared to be little chunks of pork chop covered in shake n’bake. I have no idea what this was, once again… the food wasn’t terrible but these guys need to get it together. Price for a combo meal for one is over 7 bucks so I expect to get what I paid for. There are plenty of places that are similar to this in Fresno that do it much better and for cheap. Save your money and check out China Town, Ming Ho, or Flower City.

Your run of the mill american ‘chinese.’ The good: you can eat a ton of food for under 10 bucks… the bad: you get what you pay for.

Definitely not as bad as I thought it would be. It satisfied me. Tastes like typical fast food Chinese. The woman who works at the register is surprisingly friendly and cheerful. For one entrée as well as half noodles and half rice, the price is $ 4.75. I got the spicy chicken entrée which was saucy and yummy. The noodles are tastier than the rice so I’d probably get all noodles next time.

Nestled in corner strip mall in Barrio Logan, you’ll struggle to find your way here without the pungent odor of urine evaporating on the sidwalks! Stay away from the fried rice as it’s soooo salty that I feel like I’m gonna piss soy sauce by the end of my meal. If you’re looking for a Chinese fast food fix, consider Panda Express — complete with drive thru — down the street on 28th& National.

I eat here at least once a week. If you dont want the to-go food, ask for a teryaki bowl. They make them freash, so it will take a few min. Staff is super nice. Cash only,$ 5 for a bowl $ 6 for a plate of to-go. Park across the street at chicano park. Dont be scared of the barrio, its all working folk and families down here.

They give you a ton of food and you can’t beat the prices. The people who work there are super nice and the food is always fresh because they do so much business. The parking can be a nightmare and sometimes you have to circle the block a few times. Cash Only can be an issue for the debit card user like myself. The neighborhood is the pits and there’s a bunch of homeless. I wouldn’t stay there to eat or go after dark but I have been getting take-out there for years and will continue to do so. Yum!

I used to come to Imperial Express often when I was younger, and I still do from time to time now. The food is pretty good and it has a cheap price. I usually get the grilled chicken and fried egg rice with chow mein and I can almost never finish it, they give you A LOT. This coming from someone who can eat a hefty amount. The beef broccoli is pretty good along with the egg rolls, the orange chicken is good too but I don’t usually like my chicken tasting sweet. The ladies that serve your food are pretty nice and so is the cook/cashier/owner I think? Hes an Asian man and speaks fluent Spanish, don’t usually see that here haha. Overall if your looking for a quick meal with a low price and your in the mood for Chinese this is a place you should try. No, they don’t have soda machines but if your not really a soda drinker at all then you should be fine, they have free cold water cups, better than soda in my opinion. lol.

If you want to eat a grip of Chinese food for cheap go here. Other reviewer is right, parking is tight, so it’s all about timing. They only take cash too, which normally is a problem for me, but since I Unilocaled I was prepared. They give you soooo much freaking food. I ordered a 2 item dish with a can of soda and it was 4.75. Did you catch that? Yes, I said CAN of soda. Minus one star ladies and gents, I need my refills. The fried rice/chow mein is really good. The orange chicken is decent, but I like it spicier and crunchier. The broccoli beef tasted nasty to me, there is a coating of something on it that made me none too happy, but my other friend liked it. This is a hole in the wall place. A pigeon and a dog all made an appearance in the restaurant… if that gives you a feel for what type of place it is.

your cash only policy and terrible parking availability will keep me from coming back. Too bad. The food was good and inexpensive.
