Jack in the Box

We ordered breakfast since we were next door at the courthouse for an appointment. Luckily during our visit there was no patrons so we got our meal pretty quickly. We got breakfast and it was prepared fresh. We got 2 breakfast sausage meals that comes with hash browns and either an OJ, coffee or soft drink.
Nothing special about our visit and our service was quick and easy.

This is your typical fast food restaurant only with a broader selection than your classic fast food places. I’ve eaten here quite and bit and never had an issue always been the same Hispanic lady with lots of energy and always polite.

i don’t normally post for fast food, however, i am still a little mad that they don’t have shakes at 8:20pm on a saturday, the girl said «we close at 10 and i need time to clean the machine» now if that’s true and it takes her an hour and half to clean the shake and smoothie machine, it’s her managers fault, plus I sent a comment to jack in the box via their customer feedback site and never heard a word.
too bad, i guess i didn’t need to eat at JB anyway.

I don’t know what it is about this place. Maybe it’s next to the corporate offices but the customer service is always excellent! I have never in my life walked into a jack in the box expecting this kind of customer service. I expect the opposite. Did I mention that they are fast and the restaurant is always clean?! Whoa.

After work I’m tired and starving so I thought jack n the crack. Boyfriend ordered and I came home to slapped on food. (Needed to warm it up again) Smh the first time we went this lady was working by herself and made better meals then this. Never again.

Before I lived on the West Coast I would always be craving Jack in the Box when I came out to California. I would get the chicken strips and onion rings and I remembered them being absolutely delicious. Then I actually moved out to California and realized how disgusting it really is. I cannot believe I ever thought anything from Jack in the Box was ever good. I try to eat the tacos because they are so cheap but they literally look like dog food. I have to close my eyes when I am eating them or else I feel like I might throw up. I drove by the other day and saw a sign for their new late night munchie box with a cheeseburger but instead of a bun it is two grilled cheese sandwiches. Just when I thought they couldn’t get any more disgusting they go and do something like that. Barf!

jack is jack. you can’t go to jack and expect ruth’s chris. i find it to be fairly consistent and the food is usually warm and good value for the dollar

The drive thru chick was amazing for such an early hour. This is the only JIB that will make me the breakfast burro with no pork only egg and cheese!

Evening after work, loved the tacos and stuffed jalapeño.
I find a happy and welcoming spirit among the employees.
My reservation on returning is a) inconsistency on taco making. A week ago, one ingredient was missing because the taste was off; b) employee not wearing hand protection when assembling the taco; c) cleanliness in the space behind the register — food on the floor, slippery.
This location is convenient but I probably will not go there again.

Every once in a while I get a hankering for some fast food, and Jack In The Box is one of my to go to spots to quench the urge. I had to try their new Chipotle Chicken Club combo for $ 4.99. I upgraded my fries to onions rings because I could. (

The chicken club was pretty good for a sandwich made on the rush. The sourdough bread was clearly toasted and had a good crunch with a buttery favor and texture that stuck to my fingers. (
) The chicken patty was crispy yet moist inside and the bacon was good, but could of been a little more crispy. (
) The lettuce and tomatoes were are all fresh. The chipotle sauce was mild and had a good smoked flavor. The onions rings were super. I can always count on Jack In The Box to make some great onions rings. They were golden brown, crunchy, and the whole onions inside were sweet and tender. (

This location provided good friendly service and the place was clean. Oh hail the Jack In the Box.

I work really close to this place, so I’m a fairly frequent visitor. This place is great! The food is typical Jack in the Box… if you like Jack in the Box food, you’ll like this place. The service is excellent — friendly, courteous and very fast. The restaurant is clean and well-​kept. I’ve never had an inaccurate order here which is pretty impressive considering how picky I am. Only complaint? Parking sucks during peak hours — stick with the drive-​thru!

This is the best Jack in the Box in all of San Diego County. The employees we have met are: courteous, friendly, helpful, considerate, clean, neat and professional. They have the best customer service anywhere! They are quick, efficient and never ignore anyone.
Everything we order is awesome, always fresh and very tasty!
When we order something special they accommodate us with the best attitude possible every time we go there. There are no other Jacks that will do that for us.
We NEVER have to be concerned about getting sick like the other Jack’s or any other place we have been to because their sanitation is excellent.
We would recommend this Jack in the Box to any one. You know it has to be good if we drive 60 miles round trip to get there!

I like fast food on rare occasion, and sometimes I have a craving. I like their sourdough burger and their jalapeño poppers, but in all it’s just fast food that is always lacking something. Curly fries are awesome, though.

Drive thru in the morning is HORRIBLY slow

Fast Order Kiosk (automated machine) was available the one time that I stopped by here BUT human service is seriously lacking! Where are the humans?!
Literally had to holler toward the back area to get anyone to come up front to help us. Had to do the same again when we needed some utensils.
Seriously… where are the humans?

Friendly service and clean bathrooms along with good tasty hot food makes this the place to be!

I’ve been here multiple times for lunch, but today was the worst service ever! (January 11, 2011)
First things first, I ordered a jumbo jack combo and two tacos with a medium drink. Pretty simple order I think, but it took 20 minutes to get out. I can understand for the longer wait because of the lunch rush, but 20 minutes at a fast food place seems a little too long in my book. It wasn’t like I ordered the entire right side of the menu! Besides the wait, I ordered to dine in. The lady, who happened to be the manager, packed it all up to go. That would have been fine if my fries didn’t fall all inside the bag. When I grabbed my order, I waited to get some ketchup and hot sauce all while the manager was looking towards the drive through window. She even had another customer in front of her ready to pay with her money out, but she just stood there looking towards the drive through window. That’s a little ridiculous if you ask me. How did she become a manger pulling stuff like that? Another co-​worker noticed that I was standing there and asked if he can help me out and grabbed my sauces. It was disappointing to see a manager be more concerned on other things when she was the only person running the front. If you ask me, the other guy should get promoted and she should be moved over to fries or something.
The place is very clean and they even have a kiosk so you can order using that thing instead of getting the rude service from the manager. As far as the food goes, I’ve always like Jack in the Box. They have good tasting food for a really good price. It’s not like your eating at a 5 star restaurant, but out off all the fast food chains, Jack in the Box ranks pretty high up there.
I’m giving this place two stars because this is the only time that the service quality was lacking. All the other times have been great with fast and friendly service. I figure this place would be one of the better Jack in the Box because it is so close to the corporate office.

You’d think that since this Jack In the Box is one of the closest restaurants to their corporate headquarters, this place would be top-​notch. I used to come here every now and then when I worked in the area, and had some good lunch experiences (both dine-​in and take-​out). Today, I hit it up for dinner, dine-​in and got an old favorite, the chicken fajita pita. And the kiosk makes ordering easy!
Strike 1: I ordered «for here», and they gave it to me «to go» (in a bag).
Strike 2: The lady who gave my pita to me asked if I wanted the salsa cup that comes with it. I said yes. She wandered off… and didn’t come back right away. So the guy sees me waiting and asks what he can help me with. I asked for the salsa, and he reaches to the right and poof. there’s salsa for me, leaving me wondering what went wrong with the lady’s attempt to give me salsa.
Strike 3: My pita was poorly assembled. I opened up the foil packet, and had to put the lettuce back into the pita.
You’re out!
(and apparently they also struck out with a previous customer, who had already picked up his sandwich, and then they called his number again, to try to give him his sandwich a second time — not having cleared the order after giving him his first sandwich.)
But on the plus side, i took a table with a free newspaper, hardly even opened.
It seems that the «A» team plays at lunch here, while the benchwarmers work the dinner shift.
