I am not a huge sub fan but Jersey Mike’s does make some awesome subs. My absolute favorite is the Big Kahuna Cheese steak. It has so much flavor and is unlike any other cheese steak. I love their other items but generally get their sandwiches in a tub(salad). As I am not a huge fan of their bread the tub works. I personally love the Jersey Shore favorite and the Original Italian, but the Original Italian tends to be a mostly meat salad. The food is always fresh and the employees are friendly and serve you quick to get you in and out. I appreciate that when lunch time is very busy. The only downside to this location is that parking is really bad at lunch time.

Best location in San Diego! The staff is awesome and always goes above and beyond, not to mention they are the only location that has double point Tuesday. They also give a military discount and always have coupons available(free cookies, or free chips and drinks). They are very friendly and personable!

Elvia was the rudest employee I’ve ever met. My friend and I visited this location to pick up sandwiches for a group today. Everything was well until another customer picked up one of our sandwiches and we protested that our full order wasn’t in the bag. She became very rude telling us ‘I made them, I do this for a living(lol). It’s all there.’ It wasn’t all there. She pulled everything out of the bag indignantly saying ‘you ORDERED this, you ORDERED that’ until she realized there was a sandwich missing. Cashier dude was nice and gave us 15% off though

Nice friendly staff and the food is always great. I did however try the buffalo chicken wrap today and the wrap wasn’t wrapped tight so it kinda was falling apart while eating it… And there was a lot of lettuce… It was still good though. But other than that. The club sub and Cali club is my jam and is always on point!!! Thank you Jersey Mikes! One of the staff members just came to our table and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience.

Update: I previously only rated this location 3 stars because, well… I was being«stingy». Every time I’ve been here(which is frequent) all of my sandwiches are made perfectly and delicious– and all of the staff has consistently been accommodating/friendly/fast and just plain awesome. So thanks guys, for being my GO-TO sub spot!

Their roast beef used to be so tasty and pink and taste amazing. Seems a bit bland and overdone now. Not sure what xhanged. Shame. Loved it.

I have eaten at this location a couple times and have zero complaints. Good is delicious and fresh for a chain and employees are polite and happy to help when making a decision.

Pretty good subs. The cheesesteak is my favorite from here. Otherwise, the meats and cheeses are generic and processed. The bread is bland. But, the staff is always friendly and it’s pretty cheap.

I found this place rather disorganized and confused. I got in a lineup and nobody in the counter seemed to be directing the noon hour traffic at all. After ordering they gave me a piece of paper with my order and not a hint of clue what I was supposed to do next. The pay counter at one end and two work stations… and no idea what was going on. I eventually was directed to pay before getting my sandwich. the sandwich was fine, standard sub-shop quality. The service and atmoshere, I couldn’t be bothered to do that again.

Philly cheesesteak sandwich… outstanding. I ordered it online and walked in to pick it up. It was delicious, not greasy at all and the young lady was friendly and very much wanted to get my order to my expectations. I truly enjoyed the sandwich and the experience

I actually like Jersey Mikes more than Subway. They have a really good selection and the customer service at this location is usually speedy and friendly. However, I do wish they had mini versions of everything. Also, they are pretty pricey. Like today I got a regular sized sandwich and a drink and it was over $ 10.

First time here, was hoping for more of a sub shop. Place is clearly a fast food dive with low quality meats and even lower quality produce and breads. Wish I would have done the Meditteranean Grill across the parking lot or even the Rubios in the next parking lot. Save yourself the trouble of a nasty cheap lunch and spend your $ 10 elsewhere.

Drive all the way over here because online it said open until 9pm. I get there at 822pm just tonight and the door is open and they say they’re closed. I look on the door and it says until 9pm too, false advertisement and very bad customer service in my opinion. Very disappointed that I wasted my gas and time when they are advertising that they stay open until 9, pretty bad.

I have so many points where I was allowed to get a giant and regular sub for free but was told I could only get one. No where does it say that in the rules. I ordered the Grilled Pastrami Reuben and sadly to say one of the worse pastrami sandwiches I have ever had. It was over powered by sauerkraut and the flavor was very odd. Service and food sucked balls! I may go to another Jersey Mike’s before I give up on them forever!

Zero stars if I could. Second time in a week you did me wrong. First visit, rude older lady at the register with no customer service skills at all. Then I get back to work to find out my Cali Club has no bacon. Today, I ask for spicy mustard. He puts yellow mustard. I asked if you were out of spicy mustard, and instead of fixing his mistake, he lies and says, yes! Guess I will have to drive an additional 10 min down the road to go to the better Jersey Mikes.

i enjoy Jersey Mike’s. Freshly made, they always greet you with a smile and positive attitude. I find that the bread is fresh, the vege’s are fresh. The meat isn’t the best meat(boiled ham etc) but because it’s freshly cut, it seems to help. They have great bread and I feel great attitudes.

Oh my ! Tried the tuna fish before and enjoyed their version full of flavor and savory . Must try is the big kahuna beef cheese steak with spicy chipotle, the best bet when craving that extra hearty treat for the meal.

Tasty chain sandwich shop. The turkey sandwich was good. I like their wheat bread better than Subway because it’s heartier. Yum.

This Jersey Mike’s location recently opened up in lieu of the To-Go’s that was once there. After a heart wrenching goodbye to To-Go’s, the sight of a Jersey Mike’s breathed life back into me. I LOVE Jersey Mike’s(or rather just their cold subs). I don’t generally make it a habit to review chains, unless I am overly or underly impressed with how they conduct business in comparison to the average franchise. I think it is important; however, to also give feedback to recently opened locations so that they can know what they’re doing right/wrong, before it is too late.(Bye Felicia!) This location is very close to my place of employment, but it’s known for it’s poor parking situation, especially during the busier lunch hours. If you’re lucky enough to find a parking spot here, you’ll find that all the ones in the middle are near-compact size. But that is out of the control of a Jersey Mike’s at this point. They are here to stay! This Jersey Mike’s was super busy. Being that it is a small location, there isn’t a ton of seating, so you might have to scope out a spot and throw your things down to claim a table if you’re dining in. Service was fast and friendly. My biggest issue with this Jersey Mike’s location is that the workers are a little overzealous in their application of the toppings, specifically the oil and vinegar. My friend and I watched with dropped jaws and they passed back and forth over our subs with the sauces 3+ times, while applying full pressure to the bottle. This is NOT simply a matter of preference. I’ve been to plenty of Jersey Mike’s and this is NOT the standard operating procedure. I shouldn’t have to request not to have my sub drowned in oil and vinegar. Our sandwich bread was soaked to the bone; and to my dismay, this happened with two different workers. Finally, I heard one of the younger worker snap at an older(albeit not as vital) worker who seemed like she was still trying to learn the ropes of the register. Not the way to treat your co-workers or elders, dear… especially in front of customers! Otherwise, as mentioned, I LOVE Jersey Mike’s. They serve my favorite cold sub in San Diego; and are otherwise, always at least a 4 in my book. Get the turkey and provolone Mike’s Way(with no tomatoes and add pickles and mustard) and you can’t go wrong. Would I return to this Jersey Mike’s location? Only to give it another shot once the workers have gotten the hang of things. Otherwise, I’d opt to go to another nearby location, where the sandwiches are drier, the seats are more plentiful, and the workers are more upbeat and kind to one another.
