Bummer. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing… Yeah, probably. I ordered a wrap, not a sub. Still — come on – if they’re selling it, it should be worth buying, yeah? I was there well prior to the lunch rush. The counter people were overly-solicitous, introducing themselves by name. Really? Honest guys, the best to you personally, but I’m more interested in my sandwich than your name. The JM production table looks weirdly inefficient: handwritten tickets following the food on the counter. Since my Baja Chicken wrap was out of the sub flow, it got assembled«in the back.» When it was my turn to pay, the point-of-purchase terminal(a tiny thing) asked me to choose a tip in addition to the cost of the very expensive sandwich. Really? Tipping for fast food? I’m happy to tip for table service, but how about management sharing the profits from the effort with the employees? Besides, who am I tipping? Does it all go into a giant kitty? Does the cashier get less? It’s weird, and it seems to be a growing trend. So – the food: What a waste of $ 8 and change. This wrap was sliced in half, but not quite all the way. So to consume it, it had to be pulled apart, which because of the elasticity of the wrap material(that sounds de-lish right there), pulling the thing into two parts somewhat destroyed its structural integrity. Which is to say it sort of fell apart. The chicken in the sandwich was, well, disgusting. I don’t want to rehash that; I’d like to forget it. Nope, nope, nope. Your mileage may vary. …

Went to Pacific Beach location on Monday January 25, 2016 to pick up a sandwich. Service was terrible. Bread tasted like it was couple days old. Cashier was very rude. Won’t be back to this location.

Surprising very good, puts Subway to shame. On the other hand, price difference between Subway and Jersey Mikes put Jersey Mike to shame. Despite it all, would go back to Jersey Mike in a heart beat.

I ordered a big kahuna– one of my favorites I hadn’t had in a while. The sandwich wasn’t as tasty as I remember. The sandwich severely lacked the proper portion of ingredients and was extremely greasy. The sweet tea tasted a bit odd. The service was quick and friendly though.

It may be a chain, but it’s a good chain — they do not disappoint :-)

I tried their chipotle chicken sandwich and it was ok. Not very chipotle-y and too much sauce for me, but it was ok. Very filling for the price so there’s that.

I really like Jersey Mikes subs, they are delicious. This location has great customer service too! I get the Italian mikes way and it is always good. They are consistent too, always delicious at any location I go to.

Yes, I am a fan. Not one single other sub chain is as good or tastes as fresh. The quality of the ingredients is what has to be the answer, because I have not even stepped inside a Subway, or Togo’s, or Quizno’s or Wich Which etc. for a cold sub since I first tried Jersey Mike’s a couple years ago. The darn things are addictive. I just discovered their chicken salad recently, and it is damn good. Why the one-star ding? Morning service at this location. Hoo-boy. Get it together. This Jersey Mike’s has been promoting the hell out of their breakfast sandwiches, especially the pork roll(which is glorified Spam). Well, on a morning when the thought of more yogurt and fruit for breakfast(trying to eat healthier!) made me gag, I figured I’d give Jersey Mike’s a try for breakfast. With only 3 of us in the whole friggin’ restaurant, I still cannot believe it was over 10 minutes waiting on a breakfast sandwich. They make a big deal out of the fact they cook the eggs on the flat-top to order. I cook eggs all the time. On a hot flat-top, a minute or two tops. The bacon is already cooked. The pork roll just gets sliced and warmed up on the flat-top while the eggs cook. Though it is a tasty sandwich, the wait was crushing. I’ve been back a couple times now, and it is the same scoop each time. I wait, and wait, and wait… I know how much it sucks to staff a place, but I really think they are understaffed for mornings. Hopefully these are just some kinks to be ironed out. The staff are all really friendly at this one.

Ate their pork roll, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich today. I’ve had this sandy about 10 times or more already and it is awesome. For the 98% of the population that has not had this sandwich I recommend it anytime — for breakfast lunch or dinner. Asterisk. Pork roll is only available at the beach locations of PB la jolla and Solano. I’ve eaten plenty of their other subs like the roast beef and cheese steak which are nearly as good. Their bread is fresh and light. I don’t feel my jaw getting tired after chomping away on the sub for 5 minutes straight. I could go on about how good this place is but I think u get the picture. Prices are good because they give good value and quality.

So before I begin, I’ll admit there is a bit of bias in this review. I grew up in New Jersey, and based on my exposure to some of the best sub sandwiches in the country, I always put subs from the northeast at the top of the list. That said, Jersey Mike’s is in a league of its own. Quiznos and Subway are massive chains that have decent subs, but JM’s has that unique regional twist that the other big chains just don’t have. Jimmy Johns in the Midwest is similar to Jersey Mikes in this fashion. You can get cold subs, hot subs, and subs in a tub(sub salad). My personal favorite is the #13 — Original Italian — Mike’s Way(oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, oregano). It’s a taste of home that I often can’t get anywhere else here in San Diego. JM’s has a robust menu when it comes to flavorful sandwiches. The cheese steaks and chicken cheese steaks are also just as good as the top cheesesteaks from Philly. If you want a real taste of Jersey subs, look no further. Jersey Mike’s will make you think you’re walking down be boardwalk at Point Pleasant beach.

I love sandwiches. You can’t go wrong with sandwiches! It’s just bread, fresh veggies, cheese and meat! My favorite is the veggie, the turkey/provolone, Cali club, and sometimes I make my own with turkey and salami. Their meats are great, very good quality. Friendly staff and quick service. MUST get some tasty cakes and black and white cookie!

Mike’s way: processed meat slapped between two pieces of fresh bread, covered with 3 slices of thinly sliced cheese, topped with lettuce and tomato and drowned in red wine vinegar and oil. It’s good, but it certainly isn’t good for you, even if you go with a healthy meat option. Topping choices are limited(only iceberg lettuce and no veggies aside from tomatoes). I used to come here a lot but now I only come when I’m in a hurry as they are usually pretty quick. The sandwiches are sloppy and will easily soak through the wrapper and bag given enough time, so be prepared. They don’t put napkins in the bag for you(probably because they’d be disintegrated by the time you get home), so be sure to grab some — you’re going to need them. The staff is friendly and quick, and the place has plenty of seating, both indoor and out. It’s a bit pricey — a «regular» sandwich(equivalent to a 6″) will run you $ 7. If you’re looking for a pricey, minimally nutritious sandwich in a hurry, this spot is for you.

Someone told me that the subs here are really good and I tried it once, but it was nothing memorable… Since my coworker told me that Jersey Mike’s was doing a charity event yesterday, we decided to support their day of giving. I looked online at their menu and ordered the famous Philly cheese steak. It was nice of them to donate 100 percent of the proceeds, benefiting local charities. I’m not sure how the service was, but she told me that it was very busy when she picked up our sandwiches. My cheese steak was pretty good– it had a lot of meat, melted cheese, jalapenos, and other fixings I chose. I’m glad I gave them another try.

Being a New Yorker I had intentionally avoided Jersey Mike’s for over a year… After a 12 hour shift at work, starving and kind of late, I noticed Jersey Mikes still open, so I broke down and I stopped by and grabbed some chicken parm… I quickly became a regular at Jersey Mike’s… This lace is AWESOME!!! Great Food & Awesome Staff…

This isn’t going to be a long review but all you need to know is that this location has breakfast items and other special products that other locations don’t. Jersey Mike’s is one of my favorite sandwich shops by far and this location is awesome. Very friendly and nice and the management is awesome! I will be coming back very soon no doubt.

I have driven by this place numerous times and have always only thought about checking it out and never did until today. Let me first off say that I love sandwiches… they are sacred to me. Lets just say that the Jersey Mikes sub put me into my holy happy sandwich mecca. They cut the meat and cheese in front of you, when you order! No mystery products. The cheese is rich and compliments the flavorful meat just right. The bread is soft like a pillow but strong like a mattress. It compliments the sandwich without dominating the taste. All the ingredients were tasty and fresh. I almost bit my fingers off eating this sandwich. Not only was the sandwich fantastic but the customer service and attention to detail in my order was amazing. A lot of time you go into these chain establishments and you can just feel the low moral of the team. At this Jersey Mikes in PB everyone working there was so happy. They asked about my day and greeted other patrons by name. Even the owner of the establishment, a tall younger guy was there chipping in. I was amazed to see the owner actually helping the staff. He helped me with my order and was such humble guy with a friendly attitude. I could really see the passion he has for the business and the respect he gets from the customers and employees. I am now hooked and will be back to this Jersey Mikes for more amazing sandwiches and top notch customer service! Thanks JM!

I don’t know how I’ve lived in San Diego for the past three years and haven’t gotten Jersey Mikes yet. Seems like everyone I know has gotten about it and raves about it. Went in tonight before a road trip up north. I got the number 7 the mikes way based off a friends recommendation. It was the turkey provolone sandwich and I got it on wheat bread. It was delicious! I was definitely happy that I got it the mikes way because I think it really added to the sandwich. The service was speedy and efficient and everyone was friendly. I’m giving it 4 stars because it did somewhat remind me of a subway and I was expecting a little bit more variety in their menu but overall it was a great experience. The location is prime too because it’s two blocks away from my house. I’ll be back for sure.

This is a nice Jersey Mike’s. I especially like the friendly customer service. I’ve never tried one of their breakfast sandwiches, so I figured it was about time. I tried their pork roll breakfast sandwich on a poppy roll for under $ 5.( ) The sammi was nice. Everything was heated through, the American cheese melted, and the egg cooked through and seasoned well. There was a generous amount of griddles pork roll which had a salty mild flavor.( ) The poppy seed roll was very good. I wish they would offer it with their regular sandwiches but in a longer size. I would prefer it over their regular white bread. A good well priced breakfast sandwich under $ 5
