Bait and switch.
I called on Thurs Dec 17 to see if they had the 12 yr old Yamazaki whiskey in stock. They did The website and the person on the phone said it was $ 149.00, which is $ 49.00 more than elsewhere, but what can you do right before Xmas? I show up on Saturday the 19^th, and I am told the same bottle is now $ 200.00.

I would recommend at least one visit on a Sunday morning to experience the mass/​Eucharist and to listen to the Cathedral Choir accompanied by the pipe organ. I enjoyed the experience.
So different from your typical Catholic mass.

I stopped in this Keg N Bottle to pick up a few items, such as a bottle of read wine, a lotto ticket, and hoping to find some Avery White Rascal.
They no doubt have a great selection of domestic, imported, and craft beers, not to mention wall to wall selection of fine wines. For my red wine, I was able to find a nice Malbec for $ 14 and for the White Rascal, they did not have any, so I went for the Lost Abbey Saison Blanc for $ 5.99.
I received my Ca. Lotto ticket at the same register I paid for the beer and wine. Service was friendly at the register. I was impressed with the background knowledge one of the guys had regarding the Local and imported craft beers. They are no doubt doing their research, so it’s a very good place to pick up a variety of craft beers in one shot.
The store was very well stocked with wines, beers, and hard liquor and pretty well organized so that access is easy. Nice store.

The best bottle shop in all of SD is in the Qualcomm jungle.
Expect to pay a dollar more than anywhere else. BUT you’ll actually find everything you’re looking for. Fair trade off in my opinion.
Staff is excellent also!

SO GLAD WE FOUND THIS PLACE. Best beer selection in San Diego in my opinion. Maybe a dollar or so above what you’d pay elsewhere, but it’s totally worth it. The guy that helped us out was super knowledgable and good natured. Showed us a secret stash of a beer I’d been looking for for months. Love this place.

Floor to Ceiling Selection of Beers! Count me a Fan fo’ sure!
When you walk past the outside of the store you can see the impressive selection of beers, once your inside it is like a beer heaven. Many bottled craft brews ready for you to purchase.
A good selection of liquors and wines. They even offer up a selection of those pocket sized treasures of alcohol which I call airline sized bottles. To a selection of Larger bottles that look like they are Costco sized. (both sizes have their advantages!)
Pricing is fair. Service is friendly. I am definitely going to become a regular at this place!

I’ll give this place 3 stars for their selection but unfortunately both times I visited this store it was very awkward. The first time I visited they thought I took my sisters ID or something lol even though I was there with my coworker and had a work ID with my name on it too. The second and most recent time the man helping me made awkward jokes that I didn’t find very funny in fact I felt some of the things he said to be a bit disrespectful. As I was checking out he got the guy behind me in line in on some joke about me not being 21 and asked him if he would vouch for me. What? I just wanted to get my beer and leave as quickly as possible. I felt like there would have been more beer and less bullshit if I was a man or had not been alone. I don’t plan on coming back.

The best customer service I’ve received, possibly ever. Went in on a whim tonight asking for a rare Stone beer which seems to be sold out everywhere, doubting they would have any. The person working (I’m kicking myself for forgetting his name) was able to locate it in the store for me! These guys have a fantastic selection and this will be my go to place from now on. Thank you for hooking me up, I’ll be back soon!

Huge selection of local craft brews with helpful staff. Beer selection is from floor to ceiling.

Probably the best craft beer selection I have ever seen. I was about overwhelmed by the selection. I am from out of town and Fady was incredibly helpful at helping me pick some great local beers. I would certainly go back to this store and would absolutely recommend stopping by if you are a fan of craft beers!

Extremely helpful employee/​store owner. Tons and I mean tons of beers/​spirits to choose from. A ridiculous amount of choices. Like literally you can sample a different beer for a year or 2 straight. From regular stuff you see to all the stuff you don’t. From seasonal to local stuff this place amazes. Got 2 local brews and chatted to him about tequila. Wanted something that goes down like water and burns 5 secs later. Got it and bought! Lol

Awesome selection of beers here, many that I can’t get at home in Texas. The owner even hooked me up with a special stash that just came in PDA craft IPA that he only gets 1 case of occasionally… went to the back and pulled it out for me. The owner seemed really knowledgable about the beers too and made some good recommendations based on what I liked.
Good service, good selection… tasty beers. What more do you need.

Giant bottles of cognac, various bitters. Really a cool liquor store. We don’t have stuff like this back home! Lol

This place is awesome. Tucked smack in the middle of a food court in the heart of Qualcomm country, you don’t expect much. You’re greeted from the outside by bottles up to the roof which seem like some sort of decoration until you step inside and see that it’s just a colossal collection of beer. And hard to find beers to boot. If you climb up the library ladder you can peruse all manner of German and Belgian beers that you flat out don’t see anywhere else. They also have a huge walk-​in cooler area as well, housing more delicious bottles of beer. Prices are on par with other liquor stores (of which they also have a large selection) and the staff is always friendly and helpful. This is a place you have to frequent if you’re a beer lover and have any reason to be in the Mira Mesa area.

Mos def the most legit liquor store I have ever been to. This place has a HUGE selection of craft beer which is the main reason why I stop by. Have a craving for a certain IPA? You can find it here. They have a giant wall of bottled beers that amazes me every time I stop by. The best part is their little beer cave that you can go into to get cold beer/​kegs.
Prices are pretty standard, not cheap but not expensive but then again you are buying quality craft beer. If you need some help ask the workers there. They know their inventory pretty and where exactly everything is.

Nice little bottle shop and liquor store with a pretty good selection. Good find for the area. I go to this plaza all the time but didn’t notice it until now. AND they’re open until 10pm. Although when I first walked in, the owner tried to joke they were closing in 5 minutes (it was 515pm). I was thoroughly confused for a bit and after realizing it was a joke, he was was pretty friendly. He overheard a pretty good discussion he had with someone else about all the beers they had available and was trying to give recommendations. He seemed pretty knowledgeable and friendly. Prices were average. for quality beers. They also have a large walk-​in beer fridge on the side with quite the selection. Which is great, but I got too cold trying to make a final decision that I ended up just grabbing something so I could get back into the sun.
I’m not sure what his little joke was about. Maybe he had a boring day. But it seriously confused me and I was a bit turned off by it. Other than that, I liked the place.

One of the best beer selections in San Diego, if you are willing to pay $ 2 – 3 extra per bottle. Service is hit or miss.
A good selection of local and Belgian ales that rivals BevMo (except the premium prices). Here you can find the classics, like Lagunitas Sucks and TenFiddy, or vintages, like Stone Vertical Epic ’11 and ’12, or new releases and seasonals, like Alesmith YuleSmith and Jewbelation. Just don’t expect the owner to know any details about a beer other than the price.
Organization of styles/​countries/​breweries is a bit confusing because of the crammed space, and you better hope you don’t break your neck trying to climb the ladder to reach the 12^th (!) shelf — that’s a good liquor store name, «The 12^th Shelf.»
Also, don’t forget to visit the semi-​hidden frozen section, for a good selection of 4– and 6 packs.

You know that scene in ‘Beauty and the Beast’ where the beast shows Belle his library? Well, I felt like doing that same euphoric twirling the first time I walked into Keg N Bottle.

The beers are stacked on shelves literally from floor to ceiling with a library ladder to get to them. It makes the beers hard to see and hard to get to, but I almost dont care, because I mean, LIBRARY OF BEER!
Prices are reasonable, but I tend to only purchase sour ales and other hard to find stuff, so I am used to leaving bottle shops broke.
