*3 solid stars re the food only* It’s my first time the other day at a Which Wich, and the sandwiches were/are super pricey for what you get. Nonetheless, very tasty! Got a BLT sandwich(7″) on wheat: mayo, garlic powder(barely there), bacon(barely cooked), tomatoes, raw spinach, caramelized onions, crispy onions, provolone cheese. The house chips was a nice touch, but nothing«wow»… Call me cheap, but I would give them another try if only using a coupon from the Entertainment book.

This location is not my favorite. I was excited when they opened close to work, but now I find it better to drive a few minutes to get to the UTC location. Cons with this location: 1. Stingy — most locations put a decent amount of toppings on the sandwiches, this location does not and they sometimes forget items. And I’m not being picky. I counted a whopping 5 pickle slices on my 10″ sandwich. Really? 2. Fox News is on the TV all day every day. Ugh! Where do I start with this? I’m sure the owner or manager is a big fan of all that is Fair and Balanced, most others are not fans of spoon-fed right wing propaganda. It makes my stomach turn and I lose my appetite. I would much rather watch Faces of Death while eating than this crap. Do us all a favor and turn it to another channel. How about the Cooking Channel or the Food Network? So I’ve stopped coming here, especially with so many other choices to eat.

Even though the customer service was ok. I am very unpleased with your employees sandwich making skills. I ordered a gyro/tayzaki sauce sandwich with. Pepper jack cheese, hummus, banana peppers, red onions, lettuce, salt, pepper and oregano. I barely got any banana peppers. No oregano and absolutely no tazaki sauce. A part of the sandwich that gives the gyro meat better flavor. I really feel disappointed and cheated in paying for my order that was not even fulfilled to completion.

Good food. But if you come after 6, be prepared to feel like you are holding up the staff from going home, even though the sign on the door says they are open until 8. I come in regularly to pick up dinner after work(around 6:30 or 7) and, without fail, they are ready to shut down every time. All chairs up on the tables, workers doing side work to prep for next day, etc – and there are always several patrons standing in the restaurant wondering where to sit. if you say you’re going to be open until 8, then stay open until 8 and«close up» after the doors are locked!

This place caters mainly to the Sorrento Valley business crowd so check their hours if that does not apply to you. There are several options in the area but this is my go-to! Consistent and tasty sandwiches and always pleasant staff. I get the vegetarian and they load on the avocado. Thanks Which Wich!

Sandwiches have that soggy quality after an hour or so, but are very delicious and generously portioned. I really enjoyed the fact that a small size sandwich was more than enough food for me. I got the Thank You Turkey sandwich, which is basically Thanksgiving in a sandwich. The sandwich skeleton comes with turkey, stuffing, mayo, provolone, cream cheese, and cranberry. You can choose to omit and/or add any other topping or spread. I really liked this sandwich, even without additions or changes. They are liberal with their spreads, which is nice but probably contributed to the sogginess. I tried my companion’s Italian Grinder sandwich and that was yummy as well. Not like a Mona Lisa sub, but very comparable.

The first is really good. Been here twice. The only issue is the execution. If you do not know how it works you can stand there while you try to figure it out as their is no directions. In essence you grab a bag and pen in what you want. It can be a pain for new folks. Also, I waited almost 20 for a sandwich. If you are strapped for time this should not be your first choice. They have an app but I have waited time on those orders as well.

I’ve been for lunch a few times and loved the sandwiches and the great service. The place is busy at lunch, as you’d expect in a popular area, but the line always goes amazingly fast! The sandwiches are excellent quality — I can actually taste the ingredients, and I don’t feel like I have to drench the sandwich in mustard just to get some flavor. The restaurant is very clean, and I like the ordering process, it’s something different, and really lets you customize the sandwiches a ton. I also used them for catering for a work event, and can’t recommend them highly enough! They were helpful, prompt and supplied all sorts of goodies for the sandwiches. In fact, there was not a single thing that we needed that they didn’t provide — without me asking for it. They helped me with recommendations about what and how much to order, and when everything came, it was a big hit. I would use them again in an instant. One final note — people went crazy over the desserts, most especially the Wich krispies. They were so amazingly good we had to cut them up into smaller pieces just so everyone got to have them. Not that the cookies or brownies were wasted, mind you ;)

All I can say is if you actually know what a Cheese Steak is like, DONOTORDERONEATTHISPLACE. I knew I would be asking for trouble by ordering one at this establishment, in this part of California, but I hoped, at the very most, eat a sandwich consisting of hot beef and cheese and the familiar condiments. Not the case. They don’t even have ketchup, and the meat is cold. The sandwich is long, but it is SKINNY. It was expensive too. Around $ 10. Thrice the value of the«sandwich». The staff was super friendly, and the place was very clean and well kept. They were super helpful, and are a benefit to this shop. The ordering format was a little weird for me. You have to write on a bag, Which seems novel, but a little confusing when you are looking to check off the ingredients that complete an iconic sandwich, but are not to be found. I am only judging by this shop’s ability to reproduce the Cheese Steak, and that was a fail. I suppose I am used to a certain degree of craftsmanship when it comes to a $ 10 sandwich. That may not seem like a lot to the Mira Mesa area crowd, but I am not rich, and am used to getting a higher caliber sandwich for a third of that price. I am willing to work here if only the management would take my advise on how to dress a Cheese Steak, or sandwiches in general. you have to do it the old way, with quality meats, cheeses, and breads. And you shouldn’t need to ask a customer if they would like their customarily hot sandwich served hot. Nope.

I just had the worst sandwich of my life, and it’s completely my fault! I definitely feel I served my humanly purpose today because I think my order was so weird it made them laugh as they made it. Seriously, I have no business creating my own sandwich. kudos to the really friendly staff who took the time to make my whatever the hell kind of sandwich that was. Whatever it is I asked you to make, you did it well!

Finally! A Which Which closer to where I live &even better, down the street from my job! Came here twice in a row last week for lunch, that’s how good it is. Their sandwiches are AMAZING&HUGE! I normally get the hula, my favorite sandwich there. I’ve tried their surf &turf, chicken pesto, and tuna as well. They have a bunch of stuff to put on the sandwiches, I normally put different things on it that might not seem like they go together. But I like it, so oh well. Their system’s been down to order online lately. But the workers are patient enough to take your whole order over the phone. If you go during your lunch break, I suggest calling in your order so it’s ready to be picked up when you get there. Unless you want to wait 10 – 15 minutes for them to make it.

I had a pretty good breakfast sandwich from this Which Which location. The sandwich was the Ham and Eggs with Pesto and Provolone with a host of other ingredients including avocado which cost a little extra and some hummus! The breakfast sammi was good and they put a lot of the ingredients inside. The ham was warm and savory, the eggs were definitely prefabbed and were okay. They did need to be seasoned, but the avocado was abundant with fresh slices layer at the bottom. Both the sliced tomatoes and baby spinach I added were fresh. Where the hummus was just okay and a little bland, the pest was very good with a vibrant color and great flavor. I’ve been to several Which Which’s around town and I have found it to be hit or miss with their bread. The wheat bread on this sandwich was alright, but it cold of been a little moister. I came in in the morning, so am not sure if I received a roll part of the stock of the previous day. I don’t think so, because I heard they bake their bread fresh daily. Anywho, it was good in flavor, but a little dry. Service was friendly enough. I could tell they were more concern with efficiency rather than pleasantries, but I was more than okay with that.

Went on a Sunday, fast service. The sandwiches were just ok. The bread was great toasted perfectly, good amount of meat too, but very lacking on all the other aspects. The buffalo chicken sandwhich had no buffalo sauce(ordered extra actually), very little lettuce and almost no cheese. The chicken pesto tasted like plain chicken, almost no pesto at all. At $ 10 a sandwhich it better be awesome and it wasn’t

This location is within walking distance of my work, and I have been pleasantly surprised by the taste of the sandwiches. You’ll pay ~$ 12 for a sandwich, drink, and chips. My first time here I was a bit thrown off by the ordering process, but used a tip from someone else and put a mark on the back of my «order bag» so I could watch the process happen. I arrived at around 12:15 on a weekday, and waited about 15 minutes from walking in, standing in line, and waiting for my sandwich to be prepared. It didn’t feel very busy. There is inside seating but it is pretty crammed, go outside for better seating options. The food itself was very good. I got a warmed thanksgiving sandwich, it even had stuffing! The small was plenty, almost more than I needed. Don’t leave without trying the ice cream sandwich, it is heavenly!

The sandwiches always taste fresh. I’ve been twice in the past week. I make a custom sandwich on the brown paper bag and add toppings I like. They have options for sandwiches that you can choose from but I’m a fan of customization. The sandwich was good but I feel there could have been more meat on it. I had a turkey sandwich and felt the turkey was a bit light. The chocolate chip cookie option cooked in the oven is a must! Warm and gooey! Nom nom If you are in a hurry during lunch time on a weekday– this is not the spot. Sandwiches take at least 5 – 10 minutes to make and depend on volume of customers.

It’s a tasty sandwich with sweet modern ordering approach. The value for your money is pretty good, it’s not going to beat any of the super sandwich shops around SD. But, what makes this place amazing is the show. Show? Yes, show! When you go in you are almost sure to see some halfwit losing their mind over the ordering system. People can’t figure out check marks next to items you want on a bag. The hateful glances at staff every few minutes, the frustrated fidgeting… I love it, and sometimes eat my lunch there and just see how many people can’t handle it.

While I was a little bummed to see Quizno’s go(they had Diet Mountain Dew on tap!), I was very stoked to see that Mira Mesa/Sorrento Valley FINALLY has a Which Wich! This particular location has just opened up, and seeing how traffic heading home yesterday was a bit heavy, I made the decision to come here to grab something to eat and wait out the afternoon rush. As it was my first visit, I decided to go all out and order their best specialty — the Wicked. For those of you who haven’t tried it, it’s made with five meats(turkey, ham, roast beef, pepperoni, bacon) and up to three cheeses of your choice(in my case, Swiss and provolone). Loaded up with all the veggies I wanted, plus horseradish mayo and garlic dressing, and on toasted wheat bread = yum! Granted, I paid a little over $ 15 for a 10.5-inch sandwich, drink, and house potato chips, and it does take more time to craft than Subway, but the results are definitely satisfying… in fact, the leftover half of my order is today’s lunch. As this particular Which Wich is located in the Sorrento Towers mall, expect parking to be a bit tricky. No problems with the service, though — in fact, I had forgotten to mark whether or not I wanted my sandwich toasted, and the guy that had taken my order quickly asked me what my preference was. And, the in-house radio station helped contribute to the overall ambiance. Additionally, while I had remarked on how hot the Mission Valley location was indoors due to the oven, there doesn’t seem to be that problem here; perhaps the ventilation is better. Great sandwiches made with great ingredients — don’t forget to check their monthly Bag 8 special(currently a BLT) — and apparently some really good shakes that I’ve meant to try at other Which Wich locations… yep, now I can indulge at a location closer to my place!

I work across the street from this location, and my coworkers and I go once or twice a week to Which Wich. We have been doing so since this location opened. Each time, however, we have run into problems. The problems have ranged from the sandwich artists forgetting to make our sandwiches, to the sandwich artists either leaving out toppings we have requested or adding toppings we did not request. They’re new, the location is busy at lunch, and so we have overlooked this things in the past. Today, however, was a whole new kind of screwup. My coworker ordered a gyro sandwich with tzatziki, in addition to hummus, various veggies, feta, and house chips. When we got back to the office, she opened up her sandwich to find that there was no gyro meat and no tzatziki. Mind you, these are literally the only two ingredients that make a sandwich a gyro. Upon learning this, we called over to the store, and talked to Trish on the phone. She was extremely accommodating and apologetic. She took down the correct order, as well as our address, and promised to send someone over. Trish was great. Unfortunately, some guy named Douglas delivered the sandwich, and he was less than pleasant. He made a bunch of excuses for this mistake, all of which fell on deaf ears. Clearly the management at the Sorrento Valley location needs to provide additional training to its employees. This is not an isolated incident. It is worth noting that we have all been to other Which Wich locations, and we have not had any of these problems at any location but Sorrento Valley. With all of the lunch options in this area, we are not in a hurry to get back to Which Wich any time soon.
