Just enjoyed the last turkey sandwich from here — saw that they are closing their doors for good today! So sad, as this place was such a nice lunchtime eatery :(

I love this place! The best crepes I’ve ever had. They were so good we had to order more. They are addictive. I’ll be back for lunch.

I’d never eaten here, as they didn’t have vegan options I could consider. I noticed today a sign for the new«Namaste sandwich» with curried lentils and veggies. They also now have almond milk(allergic to soy) so I got a sandwich and latte. The sandwich was fantastic — a very flavorful, French take on Mediterranean and Indian flavors. It was a generous portion, and I zinged it up with some house made hot sauce. Service was prompt and friendly. Well worth a try, I’ll be back for this meal very soon!

I am a big fan of crêpe’s and like to go out to existing and new places on a somewhat regular basis. La Crêpe makes a delicious banana split crêpe while providing excellent customer service. I recommend giving them a try! Yum :)

I went to this restaurant during my lunch break. It was fast service and the people working there seemed to know what they were doing. My complaint is the actual food they served. I ordered a #1 and a #2 and when the food came out, I was so disappointed. It was just 2 plates and just the crêpe and nothing else. The plate looked so big and the crêpe only filled a quarter of that plate. I was telling my wife that if they had a salad or a side dish with the crêpe, then I would have been satisfied. For $ 9 a crêpe you should serve something else considering that at $ 9 there are so many other options. Total bill was $ 21 for 2 crepes, no drinks and leaving your stomach half way. I hope that others will understand my point of view.

Wanted to like this place, but crepes were off. The crape looked overcooked on the outside by the excessive browning but then on the inside crêpe was under-cooked. This is typically caused because the crêpe machine is too hot. It leaves a slightly burnt taste from the outside and a gooey texture from the inside. They need to have standards and re-cook anything that does not meet this standard.

It was our last morning in San Diego with family and we were craving a pastry for breakfast. We decided to dine since the place was empty at the time. I think it was about 10 am when we arrived. The store employee greeted us warmly and invited us to try anything because it’s ‘all good!’, when I asked what she would recommend. There were 5 of us including two children. We ordered 4 crepes. It took about 10 mins or so get our food. It was delicious! My kids loved it too! After reading mixed reviews of the restaurant, I guess it’s a hit or miss! Either way, if we are ever in the area again, I’m sure we’ll dine here again.

The crepes are good. But the service is horrible. I asked for a glass of water twice! and no one bothered to provide me. I will never go this place agin.

I came in for a breakfast crêpe and it was soooo amazing! They add a little meringue on top of the crêpe. On another trip, they included a coupon for a salad and I came in for lunch and had a DELICIOUS salad. This is a place you would miss because it is a little unassuming, but it is certainly worth trying. The french guy who runs it is super nice and gives the place a nice touch. :)

Nice little place for a quick, healthy breakfast. The staff was quite friendly and the omelette prepared fresh. Recommend.

The best crepes this side of the Atlantic! We hired La crêpe Fraiche to cater our daughters birthday party and they exceeded our expectations. Olivier(the owner) arrived on time with a helper and after setting up they immediately began making crepes. We offered three savory options(poulet, jambon, ratatouille) and one sweet option(Nutella). All of our guests raved about the amazing crepes. I personally tried the poulet and then a Nutella crêpe and felt like I was back in France. The cost for catering was also reasonable. I cannot recommend La Crêpe Fraiche enough! Excellent food, excellent service… Couldn’t ask for more!

received. I made a simple order for the #1 with bacon. Payment was made easily and waited patiently for my meal to go. I waited about 30 minutes for my «to go» order and none of the workers bothered to check on the customer sitting there with no food in front of them. I then got the food and it was not worth the wait. Would not come here again. Extremely disappointed.

The owner and his staff were amazing to accommodate 25 of us for a retirement party. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was fabulous! Everyone in our big party enjoyed their food and the atmosphere. I loved my banana split crêpe. Definitely going back!

I come here 2 – 3 days a week to study. I love the ambiance. The walls are bright orange and there are big windows so you don’t feel stuffed inside. I love the staff and the owner is an amazing cook! So far I have only tried the pork and pink lentil soup and it is amazing. The crepes look great. I wish they had a gluten free one though! Anyway, this place is right next to starbucks where the internet sucks and there is always a long long line. I would much rather support this small business and study in a calm and bright atmosphere with good internet.

I ordered the wild salmon salad, but the salmon turned out to be out of a can. Otherwise, the salad itself was pretty decent, but geez. canned salmon is so, so salty. Service was good and friendly. Place is small, and they do have free wifi. I think I’ll just have to try it again and order a crêpe, since that’s their specialty. For now, just two stars.

This morning I had to drop another star. I went to Starbucks to get a chai and the line was out the door. The crêpe place had 3 people in it. 2 people eating, 1 ordering so I figured… Let me get a coffee right quick. 20 minutes until I had to be at work. I was really excited about getting to the office early. It took a little over 10 minutes for this tea with 2 people working… And 2 customers. And this coffee tastes like it has expired milk. Sour. Crepes: yes. Sandwich: meh. Latte: never again!

Came here the other day and saw there were a lot of options to choose from, as you can make your crêpe in to a pasta or salad instead. We finally ordered the $ 10 special where you get a savory crêpe and a small sweet crêpe(we chose a sausage crêpe and a dulce de leche crêpe). We actually didn’t come here for lunch, we were running errands in the area and got hungry and decided to try this place out– a friend had raved about it. The crepes were good, albeit small. It’s not like I know what a real French crêpe tastes like, but I have tried plenty of crepes here in California. The other crepes I’ve tried seemed like they had more food in them, and were not only stuffed in the crêpe, but also garnished on top of it(like it would have spinach, mushrooms and avocado on top). The ones at this place were nothing like those at all, the regular sized savory crêpe wasn’t that much bigger than the small dessert one. But despite the size, hey still tasted really good, and we only had to wait 10 min or so for them, not long at all. Next time I come here I definitely want to try the pasta or salad option!

I usually pick up a coffee at Starbucks and feel bad for this place because they always try to attract the early morning coffee traffic but it doesn’t seem to work. So, I figured I’d give them a shot for lunch today. Their sign advertised the polish sausage crêpe as the daily special. I ordered it only to find out they were out. No big deal so I ordered the chicken apple sausage crêpe instead. It cost me $ 9.34. I figured the crêpe would come with a side for that price but it didn’t. It was also pretty small and it didn’t seem like they even used a full sausage. The flavor was also lacking. Perhaps their salads and sweet creeps are great but based on my first impression, I won’t be back.

Before work I wanted to grab a quick coffee. Starbucks had a line out the door so I thought I would try the coffee at this place seeing as they have a huge menu of beverages. I walk in-no line-no people. I order an iced latte and pay around 3.25. I waited by the counter for my drink because I was in a hurry and no one else was in the café. I noticed 3 people working on my drink… one retrieving the ice… one getting the milk… and one making the espresso. When the drink was done I also noticed the owner or manager(he had a French accent) stick his finger in my drink and taste it-twice! Disgusted, I said«excuse me, did you just stick your finger in my drink and taste it?» He replied, «no…whaa?» I then said, «you know what I changed my mind» and left the café to get Starbucks. After I got Starbucks I came back and said, «that really disgusted me when your boss put his fingers in my drink.»(There was another business professional in the café so I didn’t want to make a scene) The worker replied, «I can make you another one.» Seriously? Another one?! Why would I want another drink from this place EVER?! They didn’t even offer to give me my money back. Rude.

Curiously, I always end up at La Crêpe Fraiche every time that I go to the dentist, located just next to it. For some reason, after a teeth cleaning I feel the urge to add some dirt via caffeine and sugar(in this case the crepes, as I don’t add sugar to my coffee:). Capuccino is just passable and crepes are not great, just normal, but edible in a hungry moment. The service is what bothers me every time. You always have to ask for items they forgot to add, I have never been there and end up completely satisfied. I understand that is a point of convergence for so many people working at Qualcomm and going there to satisfy their sweet tooth, so they don’t have to be overly nice because they clients are there no matter what, but a little bit of improvement will give a better impression.
