First time here, and we had our food delivered. The delivery guy was nice, but it still took 50 minutes for our food to be delivered. I got the falafel sandwich-​not good. There wasn’t any sauce, falafel was dry, and the lettuce was soggy. The fries were cold, dry, and terrible. My brother got a gyro sandwich and said it was pretty good, but overall we were not impressed. We will not be back.

I love coming here when I visit Belmont park! Healthy and delicious option here at the boardwalk! Not to mention the guys behind the counter are so friendly and nice. I usually end up eating here more than once because it’s just so darn good!
I love to get the chicken plate, comes with pilaf, salad, chicken, pita, and tatziki sauce. They also have a selection of pizza, burgers, sandwiches, cheese fries and breakfast! Be sure to check them out!

Don’t order delivery. Your order is bound to be screwed up. Food showed up cold. 2 stars because the gyro was okay. Cold as ice, but edible.

Wanted something different than the offerings at Belmont Park. Walked across to get a falafel but ended up with the gyro. Sat at the counter with my son and enjoyed a great gyro sandwich and fries. Gents across the counter were fast and very friendly. Glad to patronize a cool place doing it for over 30 years.

Love this family run place. Been going here since I moved here to San Diego in 2000. Always friendly and Mike (owner) and family always remember me no matter how long it’s been. Get the Greek Plate you can’t go wrong or leave hungry.

This review is mainly from getting delivery from kojacks. Ordered an online delivery and received a botched order. No big deal I thought, ill just call the place and get a fixed order have them bring out what was missing. After 3 phone calls and meeting the delivery guy at my gate an hour later, he again brought the wrong order which I refused. Called kojacks again and then had to haggle for them to just refund the items i did not get to which they lied and said that the items that were brought to me on the second delivery were taken by me.
Called eat24 and finally got a credit towards my next delivery 30 minutes later which was fair, but all in all a terrible experience and very unreasonable manager at kojacks, accusing me of lying and refusing to refund me money for items I did not receive. Definitely not going back and people getting delivery beware of getting an accurate order. Eat 24 did a great job easing the issue. Kojacks… not so much.

I don’t know how good their gyros are, but the pizza, burgers and fries looked like they were purchased in the frozen food section of a grocery store, cooked on site then served on a paper plate. Food quality aside, their menu is deceptive and I would have been overcharged had I not looked carefully at the receipt. I would make sure the staff explains exactly what everything costs before you order because I clearly had it wrong. This place is essentially like going to a friend’s barbecue only more expensive and crowded.

I have been getting Falafal sandwiches and Gyros from this fast casual beachside location at Mission Beach for at least 10 years. Service is usually flat at best but today they were downright friendly and offered us menus as soon as we walked in. Their food is not the best nor the worst but fun to eat while people watching or ocean watching. It is made fresh, the bread is soft and warmed on the grill, and fresh veggies are always included. If this were a sit down destination restaurant I would probably rate the food three stars, but in the beach context a solid four.

We’ve ordered delivery from this place three times in three weeks. We’re hooked.
Pretty stellar delivery Mediterranean food for the PB and MB area. Portions are great and the quality consistently good. One of the healthier options for delivery (unless of course you’re ordering Rick’s chili cheese fries).
Happy to have Kojack’s in our neighborhood.

So I order from here for the first time tonight.
I don’t know why this place has been rated as 5 stars?
I ask for mushrooms and Swiss cheese on my burger
(Paid for the cheese) there was no cheese at all on my burger. My girlfriend ordered a gyro with extra sauce on the side. There was none. The cheese fries were soggy
Oh and did I mention there was a 9 $ delivery fee!
Never ordering from here again! What a let down!

Well, we only bought a couple soft drinks here, but, I have to say I would NEVER eat here! The cook? or owner? or whatever was scraping crap from his vents and when someone ordered something he walked right over and grabbed a frozen burger patty out and threw it on a nearby grill. Ewww… no hand wash… nothing. And shouldn’t you clean your vents after hours? What if some of the crap gets on that nearby grill? Microscopic amounts of ewww in your food? The family that owns this needs to either get their «stuff» together or sell to someone that knows what they are doing. I almost didn’t drink my soda thinking if they treat their grills that badly… who knows when the last time they cleaned their soda machine is. Disgusting! Avoid this place at all costs!

Had food delivered. Order was missing drinks. Driver said call the restaurant. Restaurant said do you want me to drive it to you, take it off the bill, or just take a hit?
Food sucked! Gyro meat was burnt, chicken was dry, rice not cooked, neither kid would touch the fries.
Rude service and horrible food.

As I’m walking in, a guy who is leaving says this place serves the best gyros in town. I think: yeah right… I’ll be the judge of that.
My family is Greek, and I’m pretty picky when it comes to my Greek food, especially my gyros and tzatziki sauce.
After trying the gyros here, I now know I have to travel 6 hrs to find one if the best, if not THE best gyros in the U.S. I ate here two days in a row.

My favorite place to eat in San Diego by far… Everything I have tried here has been awesome. I’ve had the Philly cheese steak and even the bread seams to melt in your mouth. They do everything right. They also have the best Greek food I’ve ever had, the Greek salad is the best!!! To top it off the brothers who own it and work here are stand up dudes delivering great customer service in a family friendly environment. I highly recommend Kojaks and can’t speak highly enough. We can’t wait to come back.

Back to back great experiences at Kojacks. Gyro Plate hits it outta the park every time. And they prepare it so fast it’s like they’re stealing bases. It taste fresher than our new Padres.
Unlike the Padres, hopefully there’s no big moves from Kojacks. Because I’m gonna be thinking about this plate until I have another.

We stopped in here first thing when we got to the beach to get some quick lunch for four kids. I ordered one Gyro plate for them to share because they were already eating ice cream next door at the Dryers ice cream shop. This resturant has been here since I was a teenager in the 90’s and the same guy is running it! He hasn’t aged a bit!
I enjoyed a mexican beer while I waited for my food and the wait wasn’t to long. I finished my beer pretty quickly. I was thirsty! Any way, The food was hot and made perfectly. No complaints from the kids or me. The portions were generous. The salad was fresh and yummy. The bread was served hot and fresh. The french fries are big, hot and delicious!

Endroit typique et mythique pour déjeuner salades grecques, burger viande ou poisson, bouiboui à l’américaine très sympa, service cool! Ok pour les végétariens ! Prix un peu chers, mais plats bien servis. A faire!
