The rose blossom tea is great! I love the rainbow jelly and can’t get anything like it anywhere else. Other options for tea aren’t as good, but this is my go to place for rose blossom.

Today’s cashier was friendly & nice, until I asked questions about what’s the Frostie like. She said, «It’s a Frostie,» as if I was stupid. Obviously, but I wanted to know what they use in the«Frostie.» She’s obviously not that helpful. Well, we got a Matcha Frostie, Passion Green Tea, Honey Green Tea, Thai Tea & a Thai Tea Frostie. We all liked our drinks! I felt that their Thai Tea & Thai Tea Frostie tastes different than how Thai Tea is usually made. We also got two Popcorn Chickens & one order of Fries. Really good like always & crispy!

It’s a really clean. The drinks are ok, but the specialty drinks are what you should get. Their crispy chicken is good and comes a lot.

M.I.TEA use to be my favorite boba place on convoy. I love supporting family owned operations and at one point this place had me sold. Things i’ve tried: – Rose Blossom Tea: I would always order the Rose Blossom Tea. I’ve never had this tea anywhere else and it was a unique tea flavor that was really refreshing to me. The drink comes with popping boba and some bits of fruit. As time passed on the honey moon phase ended and I began noticing the flaws of this place. Whenever I take my friends, we would finish our drinks quite fast. Why? The drinks are heavily loaded with ice. Ice is good to keep a drink refreshing, but when it’s about ¾ of the cup, that is not okay. Also, if you ask for boba, there’s barely any boba with your servings too. I don’t really have the urge to come here anymore even though the parking lot is HUGE an easy for access.

My wife and I have been going to M. I. Tea for a while and we love their tea and boba, but the last few visits they have really been greedy with the amount of boba they’re adding to their drinks. I’ve been running out of boba by the 3rd sip. I don’t know if Tapioca Express has spoiled us and we are comparing the two? Other than the lacking of boba, the Brown Sugar Milk tea is so yummy! I would recommend this tea spot to anyone not wanting to deal with the craziness of Tap Ex’s parking. Side note: Be aware that the scent of the Korean bbq next door may have you changing your destination as soon as you pull into the parking lot.

Decent boba shop in the back of a supermarket, right next to a KBBQ spot. This place is a go-to for me every time I’m in SD because it’s so close to Lolita’s. Who thinks a passion fruit green tea with jelly and carne asada fries pair well together?! This girl!

I work in Kearny Mesa, live in Carlsbad. Do you know how many options I have for Boba? Slim to none. My treat? Boba from this place. I come here so I can sit in traffic happily. Their popcorn chicken is delish and I have tried almost all of their Fusion Teas. The service is great here! I’m a big fan!

This place used to be my go-to place for boba, but with Share Tea opening up and across the street, I don’t come here as often. Yesterday was my first time here in nearly a year, and it’s definitely not as crowded as it used to be — which can be good or bad if maybe you want to study here. I ended up ordering my typical mango green tea. It was much sweeter than I wanted, but not too overbearing. My other friends got the normal milk teas and they seemed to be content with their drinks as well. I will say prices are cheaper here than Share Tea, but I personally rather pay 50 cents more for better boba. Just my 2 cents.

M.I.Tea is expensive which is why I’m knocking down a star. A large MITea Bubble Tea(which includes boba and grass jelly) is almost $ 5. They don’t even give you that many toppings. Aside from that, I really like the taste of their milk tea. I don’t like their green milk tea though. As far as Convoy goes, it’s one of the better places.

first time here this past weekend and we had the Taro tea(hot) with boba and a taro frostie with lychee and both were very good. I would have given 4 stars except the worker that helped me didn’t seem very friendly. My first time there so I asked her what was most popular. She just pointed to screen without saying a word where they had a top ten list. Not even a smile. Would I come back? Maybe for the taro tea but not for the customer service. Smiles are free last time I checked, right?

I’ll be honest. It has been a while since I’ve been here, so I can’t really say if my review will be consistent with the present state of this establishment. It might be a little tough to find because it’s partly covered by Taegukgi KBBQ. Last I remember, this place was fine. I ordered my boba drink, I got my boba drink, I drank my boba drink, I liked my boba drink. Nothing negative about this place. They have to make me absolutely upset to make me give them a bad rating, but that’s never going to happen. Definitely a solid boba place to visit. All systems go. That’s all I have.

For those who know me, I love myself a good boba drink. This place was awesome! I walked in not knowing what to order but I saw the menu behind the cashier. There were so many drinks to choose from, so I went with a strawberry green tea with boba. My daughter had a passion fruit drink with orange popping boba. I tasted my drink and there was hints of strawberry and green tea. The boba was soft and sweet. So good! A refreshing drink to quench my thirst. This was one of the places I had bookmarked and was glad that we finally got a chance to come out here. I am so glad I did. I got to taste my daughter’s drink and it was delicious as well. Passion fruit with orange popping boba. There were plenty of tables to sit down and enjoy your drink. There was also a restroom in the back if you need to use it. The lady at the cashier was training another girl to take orders! It wasn’t packed and our drinks came out quickly. If you are a boba fan, this place is for you. Even if you don’t like boba, you can just order the drinks plain. I will be back for more!

How does this place have 4 stars? It was only OK. PARKING: Located to the left of Zion near a KBBQ place, it looks sort of out of place but plenty of spaces. ATMOSPHERE: Higher ceilings and kind of reminds me of a fro-yo place rather than a boba place. Seats, it’s own bathroom, free wi-fi. It was a decent place to hang out for an hour because it wasn’t that crowded. FOOD: I wanted to get a rose green tea but they told me they only had rose milk tea and couldn’t make it without the milk. Their famous«rose blossom» drink actually doesn’t have tea in it and the rose flavor is very subtle. My friend got it and said there were too many toppings in it and slightly too sweet. It also only comes in one size? She ordered it and got a large size without even being asked. HONEYLEMONGREENTEA — not bad, not good, just OK. The boba was kinda soft, so not chewy enough. The flavor of the tea itself was forgettable. Overall it was decent but nothing to gawk over.

I’ve been here twice and both times were after 7pm so the place was pretty empty. I love tea, boba and anything different so I had to check this place out. I really wanted to go to the Tea Gallery but they were closed so I picked this place. They have a huge menu which makes it hard to make up your mind but they also have a top item menu so I just picked from there. The first time I came I got the grapefruit and guava tea it was cold but a little over powering of the jasmine tea. It also had pieces of grapefruit which was nice to have once I finished my drink. The second time I got the peachee tea with the classic boba the tea was alright but the boba didn’t have much flavor. Maybe I came at the wrong time but the boba was a disappointment to me. I will definitely try the boba again just at another time. The employee who was an older lady was very helpful and gave me a free upgrade to a large. I will come back to try at least half of their huge menu.

We happened to be in the area and decided to try out a place we haven’t been to yet. We stopped by to get nice, cold drinks to help us get through another hot summer day. There’s plenty of parking. The lady helping us was sweet. This place is a good sized café with indoor and outdoor seating. They have a cool shaking machine that shakes their drinks for them! Not sure if a lot of other places have it, but it’s the first one we’ve noticed… We each ordered a drink. The first was the Ocean Breeze which is a mix of jasmine green tea and sea salt cream. The drink is served with the jasmine green tea on the bottom, with a layer of the sea salt cream on top, then green tea powder sprinkled on top. We were told to mix them all together before drinking. We did try the jasmine green tea alone and it was good. The mix of the green tea with cream was OK. When mixed together, it’s just like a jasmine milk tea… It has a floral, milky taste. We also ordered a Passion Fruit slushie/smoothie with boba. The drink was sweet, tasty, and refreshing and the boba was nice and soft. We were concentrating on the main menu too much that we failed to see the summer specials until after we ordered. We’ll probably be back to test out a few of the specials before the season changes.

Pretty decent. Dropped by here after eating at Crab Hut yesterday and boy was I glad I did. I ordered a pineapple drink with rainbow jelly. The owner had forgotten to put the rainbow jelly inside my drink but she gave it to me in another small cup in which I just poured it in and mixed it. I am a huge pineapple drink fan, so if you like anything with a pineapple flavor — you might like this place like I did. I was so surprised that the boba was soft! Not hard like other places but legit soft and chewy. It was a pleasant surprise. Just wish the place was not as hidden as it was. But there is adequate amounts of parking! It’s located next to a Korean bbq place and hidden kind of to the left of Zion. Would totally go again but not sure I want to try something else as I am already a big fan of the pineapple drink!

I came here the other day after hitting up Zion Market. I’ve driven by this place many times and I thought I should give this place a try. This boba spot is located on the east side of Zion, right next to Taegukgi BBQ. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to order, but made my decision based off of other Unilocal reviews and on their listing of top 10 popular drinks. I ended up choosing Rose Blossom(with boba). The drink was not what I expected. It’s a tangy fruit flavored concoction, with white jelly, diced strawberry pieces, fruit juice filled«popping» boba balls, ingredient«x», and I added boba. The mixture of ingredients pulled my taste buds in different directions. The bursty fruit boba balls were a little overbearing. It left a tangy aftertaste I was over after 2 – 3 sips. I’m not sure what ingredient«x» was… it’s white with a dark spot in the middle floating towards the top of the cup. The drink was okay. I really wanted to like it, but for me it was overwhelmingly fruity and had waaay too much going on. The place is nice and clean with plenty of seating indoors and out. Service was good. I won’t knock this place just because I didn’t enjoy one drink. I’m going to give this place a few more chances. I’d give this place a 3.5 for now.

Knocking out those Unilocal Bookmarks out of the park, but wish M.I.Tea would of hit it out as well. After the super confusing and ridiculous directions I got from Google Maps, it didn’t really say where it was. It’s located next to the Korean BBQ which is off to the side of Zion Market. So it’s not inside the market! Place is nice and casual, and friendly service! I saw that people on Unilocal ordered their Sea Salt Iced Coffee and LOVED it, however it was not very tolerable. It was really weird, so if you’re thinking you’re going to be getting some good coffee flavor then pass. I’m not sure if you have to ask for it sweetened, but it came with zero sweetener and UGH, ended up throwing most of it away. My go to Boba drink is Black Milk Tea and how can you get that wrong? The tea was awesome, but the boba had zero flavor and didn’t add anything to the drink. Definitely disappointed! My friend ordered the Passion Fruit Slushie with Rainbow Jelly and Lychee, and that one was delicious, but way too sweet for me! Such a cute name for a boba business, but this wasn’t my cup of tea.

Came here randomly with the hubby and glad that we stopped by. We have always passed by this place but never gave it a try until now. I tired the rose blossom drink for the first time there, as it was number 1 on their top 10 list that they displayed. I can honestly say that it was the best tasting flavored tea that I’ve tried! What I liked best is that it wasn’t too sweet, and the sweetness had a perfect balance that didn’t overpower the tea flavor. Our drinks came out pretty quick as well, so overall, based on the service and flavors, this place is definitely a 5 star place to me!
