Carl «bar manager» didn’t accept my vip card which I paid 100 $ for. Management needs to talk to him since I still paid full price!

Zero stars didn’t except my VIP card which I paid money for so that I can get discounts for. I work for as a manager for a company that can promote the company and now not willing to work with me I let everyone know. Very mad never coming back!

Dead till 9 this bar is not friendly. Jipped me, made me pay twice for drinks, and the sleeveless bartender is a dirt bag. Girl tried to use my tab. Only one crappie pool table. The only reason we went was because my friend’s tinder date agreed to meet there. Mostly because it was dead. They can eat what you can imagine. Also, my friend never got vip treatment he was promised. In conclusion this bar is a sham, a pathetic joke, and the bartender both skips leg day and triceps. (Really dude, really just biceps?) Also extremely hostile to military.

My hubby and I happened to pass by this establishment and noticed they had Thirsty Thursday $ 1 beers and decided to give it a try. When we entered it was mostly filled with men and a few individuals playing pool.
We went to the bar and ordered a beer and a vodka and orange juice. The beer was ok however the vodka was an off brand name and tasted horrible. My hubby had to ask the bartender what type did she give him.
The atmosphere was questionable as some of the patrons were drunk and still being served. There were beer/​drinks spilled on the floor which was not immediately cleaned. One of the bartenders started yelling out loud «I like to get paid just like you. I don’t work for free so tip your bartenders.» I can’t say this was appropriate.
The ladies restroom was unsanitary. The stall I entered did not have a lock and was out of seat covers. The trash was spilling over from paper towels as well as they ran out. There was a roll located on the sink.
We then went to the outside patio which is an area for smokers. A young lady approached us regarding a future raffle of which you would provide your name and e-​mail address. We declined.
I can’t say I would return.

McFadden’s is what it is — a fun, energetic bar. Combining Jameson shots, whiskey sours and UFC fights is always a good time. Erica, the Manager, was helpful in getting us a table and making sure we were taken care of. The staff was attentive and quick to refill our group’s drinks. If you’re looking to kick off your Saturday night, then this is definitely the recommendation.

My friend is a transgender, who identifies herself as a male. However her ID still says she’s a female. She enters the women’s restroom. The security followed her into a stall, grabbed her by her arm in front of everyone, leaving her completely exposed in front of everyone, dragged her out and didn’t even give her a chance to get herself dress. She was horrified the way the security handled the situation! I remember running up behind her as she was being dragged out the bar with a sweater, to hide her bottoms because they didn’t even give her a chance to get dress. This place makes me sick.

This is my favorite bar, always my go to. The staff are always friendly and responsive. The music is always on point and they have interactive bar games for everyone. Pool table, smoking area outside, dance floor, bar downstairs (sells drinks for $ 5), main bar on the dance floor, and another one outside where the smoking area is. What more can you ask for?
Sometimes some of their staff walk around outside the bar to grant people free cover fee, so be on the look out for them! If not, the fee isn’t too bad, it’s $ 5. Also, at selected times one of their waitresses walk around with a clipboard to ask for email/​phone info for VIP opportunities, which include no cover fee, dollar drinks, and you can bring as many people as you want as long as it’s before 11pm.
I also had a group of 15 people come here for my 25^th birthday and most of them were out of town. They even told me that this was their favorite bar of that evening. I also ended up dancing on top of the bar as well, that was so much fun!
Gotta make a shout out to Jessica. She’s up and around selling awesome shots! She’s so sweet!

Overcrowded and dirty but I give it up to them — they definitely try to hype up the crowd at the bar. Bartenders throw napkins up in the air and give free shots straight out of the bottle while in a banana costume. Fools get hella sloppy in here and I’m pretty sure I saw people having sex (or some really rough dry humping!). .. A little too crazy for my taste, but we got in free with a stamp (look for the promoters outside with the McFadden shirts!) so we tried to make the most of it.
Gave another star for the DJ who was playing hip hop! Stayed on the dance floor longer than expected and was feelin it for a minute until I took a whiff of either B. O, fart, throw up or ass and I heavily gagged — fresh air was needed ASAP!

Went in because they said they had three dollar beers… Not true. I was the only girl in the place… Not a good time! Beers were more than prices and warmer than coffee. I’m go on ever going back.

Is there anyone in charge that works here? I placed my orders as did the others in my party we sat at the bar and then watched the total frat house party that went on behind the bar. Which included staff doing SHOTS with each other… Really? When is drinking on the job ok? Not even sure they were 21… No wonder people were pissed off about 50 minute time to get food orders at the other tables. We just paid for the crappy drinks walked out. Dirty nasty bar employees that are drinking and no one is in charge. Would never go back.

Wow. If you want truly terrible service and weak drinks: Mc Faddens is the place to waste your money!!! Four of us come into this less than half full bar on a Friday night, order drinks and food. Female bartender gets us half our drinks — walks down the bar to chat with come other (drinking customers), comes back 15 mins later. We have waited 45 mins now for an order of nachos, a burger and 2 wraps which still haven’t arrived. We did see the cooks come out and do shots w some other bartender.
WE ARE DONE.

This is just not my scene. It’s crowded and has terrible crowd flow. The music is mediocre. I gave it 3 starts only because maybe it’s just not my thing but it’s clearly a lot of other’s.

Came to this establishment last night because I had won a VIP party for $ 1 drinks, bartender that was serving me drinks was cool I gave him a few tips then he got busy and someone else started to serve me and told me I had to leave a tab open in order to get $ 1 drinks I told him I’ve been paying cash this whole time. Then he told me if I didn’t leave him a tip for the $ 1 drink that I was an asshole and a jerk! Spoke to the manager he had no urgency to address the situation just was standing outside the bar texting on his cell and just nodding his head to everything we were saying, horrible and last but not least the bartenders drink on the job giving people shots straight out of the bottle and then having the customer give them shots straight out of the bottle as well very poor establishment! Never will I return

I have been multiple times and never ceases to amaze me. Casual outside area is relaxing or dance floor for your upbeat time.

So a week after writing this review, Mysteriously, I got a call from «Erica» saying I «WON» a VIP Party at McFadden’s… I said, «NO THANK YOU, I’m not interested in you losing my debit card again.» Still no real contact from management or anyone important to make me want to ever go back to this place.

Service not so great, food meh… charges ridiculous
We cane yo SD from LA for Memorial Day weekend we stopped by McFadden for drinks and apps it took forever to get our orders, and then the food came and it was just ok. When the bill came we were charged for freaking ice !!! I’ve been to a billion bar and no one have ever charged for freaking ice –_–

If you’re looking for sloppiness, this is a great place to go. Wastedness also.

McFadden’s is a lot of fun. When going downtown we usually start our night here. They are always having a themed event and/​or a contest. They have pretty good music and awesome bartenders. Kerry is the absolute best. He remembers your name and your drink and is super sweet. He is pretty much the deciding factor of why we go to McFadden’s.
Definitely check it out. They do a cool VIP for $ 1 drink specials!

Update 3÷16÷17: Erica/​Elizabeth (?) replied to my email and offered 10 $ certificate to McFaddens. I received 2. Still doesn’t make up for the 40 $. Haven’t used the coupon yet.
F this place! I would love to give 0 stars. Paid NYE tickets for the event. My friends and I were in line for an hour and a ½. Didn’t get in! Like wtf? Why sell tickets over capacity? Going to file a claim for a refund!

This place is seriously a joke. Unorganized, inconsistent, and poor service. It’s a hot wild mess which more often than not promotes sexual objectification of women. Overall, I would only come here if we had the free + discounted specials or if I absolutely needed to pregame before heading to the club. Actually that last part is a lie bc I’d rather go to TGIF next door to get the job done. I can’t believe they charge a cover to get into this place (one I have never paid).
Here are a few scenarios which can, have, and will happen during your visit to McFaddens:
–you order a drink and you never get your drink because the bartender forgot
–you order a drink and it takes 20 mins to get it because of various reasons
–you order a drink and you get charged the wrong price (but the girl downstairs said drinks would be X amount with my wristband??)
–you CAN’T order a drink because the bartenders are taking shots with each other and a third bartender is recording it on their phone
–the ladies bathroom will be flooded, so both men and women will be forced to use the men’s bathroom (that’s right, women using the bathroom while men are simultaneously at urinals — pretty sure that’s illegal + sexually offensive)
–you will get up on the bar or someone you know will
–there’s a sexist activity happening on said bar (all girl beer chugging, clothing swap, etc)
–someone standing on the bar will take their top off (again, sexually offensive)
**If you/​your friend is on the list for winning that promotional contest, make sure your group gets the same color wristbands (green = $ 2 drinks as promised, sometimes they’ll try to pull a fast one and give out a pink band to the rest of your group = ½ off drinks). Everyone in the group should receive the green bands or at least the same color band consistently and don’t let them tell you otherwise!
Don’t get me wrong; McFadden’s can offer a good time if you’re drunk enough to not let anything about this place bother you, or if your drinks are completey free or cheap. One star for the specials and music variety but that’s about it.
