I love walking into a bar and your drink is just poured and waiting on the bar for you! Thanks Michelle! It’s easy to unwind after a long work day when you are tending bar! Cheers to you!

Love Jackie and Michelle the bartenders!!! Hard to win over but when you do score and some amazing caring people. Come for the drink not really here for the people. Actually could care less… Really come to decompress after a long day and to visit my girls. Have had great conversations with random strangers and real people which you don’t find anywhere else. So I guess that’s my advice if your real this is your bar if your fake I’d recommend another place.

Ugh. How many Unilocaling barking dogs does it take to run me outta the place?! I like the vibe but this new«All pits welcomed» policy makes me feel like I’m at the pound walking down the aisle of all pits & chihuahuas… yapping yapping barking maddening! I just got up and left. Sorry the bar is cool but if you bring your dog please make sure it doesn’t turn the place into a yap fest?

Worst buffalo sauce on the planet. Loud. Good amount of space. Great fries. Red bull and vodka slushy is bomb.

When rating a dive bar you have to rate it as a dive bar and what a good spot this is and wow the drinks are super inexpensive, I was able to get a beer and a wine for $ 4.50 total! They have a good crowd, friendly bar staff, lots of people and pool tables. It’s also right on the main strip of PB so it’s a good place to go to start with cheap drinks and move on if you’re going somewhere afterwards!

Michelle and Stephanie are my absolute favorite bartenders. Strong drinks, good people, pool… what more do you need? $ 2PBR specials — AHHH so refreshing to us Oregonian/Nebraskans :) Thank you guys for all you do… one of our all-time favorite places to visit in PB.

Michelle is the bees knees. Love this place. Interesting mixture of crowds that hang out here. Couple pool tables and games. Decent jukebox. Nice and divey

This place is exactly what I wanted to find when I moved to pacific beach. It is a dive bar with a family of local regulars and super friendly bar tenders. We met the beautiful Michelle(bar tender) on our first visit and she was so easily friendly and conversational in a way that every bartender should be. She asked us interesting questions like«what is your favorite bar appetizer ever?» and kept it light and entertaining. The atmosphere is also very relaxed with juke boxes, pool tables, sports on TV and cheap drinks. I’m so glad I found this spot and I can’t wait to be a regular.

When they had the old juke box it was a great place. I fucking hate touch tunes digi juke box’s! And the fucking music idiots play on them! The juke box helps set a tone or vibe for a place and the digital ones kill that.

Went there last night to meet a few friends after having sushi dinner earlier. We were to meet in Barrel Republic but that place was so crowded I just could ‘nt face it. Found this PB Pub place after a stroll around and hopped up to the bar for a few beers. A few beers turned into all night. It was a lot of fun — played a lot of pool, wrestled a lot of tunage out of the dukebox and really had a full-on night. I found the bar staff to be great, the clientele(sounds an inappropriate way to describe them!) were all sorts of good crazy — I think this will be my go-to spot from now on in PB!

I was surprised. A friend who prefers to drink whiskey drinks wanted to go here. I am more of a craft beer guy. I walk in expecting that I am going to have to either drink a cocktail or a bud light. Wow. They have Sculpin on Tap. Cold. Fresh tasting. This is nice. Also, even though I am wearing a sport coat because I haven’t been home from work yet and haven’t had a chance to change, the bartenders treat me like a human. Don’t be afraid of PB Pub. It works. Thank you!

I like this place if either A) you want a chill night in a small bar with some of your friends without having to be bothered by drunken idiots or B) want to start your night off with cheaper drinks before you join your crowd elsewhere. Went here last weekend around 9pm before going out in PB. There were people there playing pool hangin out. It is a small bar but not squished. The bartender was nice and the drinks are on the cheaper side compared to other PB bars. The music did get very loud at one point, but then went back to normal. I figure it’s not well known about since it’s not on Garnet. It’s on the corner of garnet & Gresham, but their literal address is on Gresham. Is small so it’s easy to miss especially because there is this tree out front that kinda blocks the sign. It’s next to a tattoo parlor if that helps. It kinda reminds me of the silver fox but not as long & not as many old people. I’ll be returning to start my night off or just have a chill one.

If you want seedy dive bar, that is what you get when you walk through the doors of PB Pub. Personally, the divier, the better. PB Pub gives you that stale beer smell coupled with a pool table, low lighting, a jukebox and some tvs to watch sports on. The staff is fun if you aren’t that douchy loser that likes to cause problems or doesn’t know what s/he wants when the bartender is clearly busy and waiting. They used to be cash only, however, more recently that have added credit card machines which is amazing and saves you the surcharges from the ATM in the corner. The drinks are cheaper than surrounding bars and you can socialize with your friends without having to worry about someone random and creepy hitting on you. It’s a good location to belly up to the bar, have a strong cocktail and maybe watch a baseball or basketball game while having a good time with friends. There is plenty of street parking surrounding the bar and it isn’t overly crowded all the time like other places. You can typically get in quickly and have drinks without any lag time.

What a craptastic place. Wife and I were recently married. When you go to get your name changed and your license updated you get hole punched in your current ID and a little paperwork with it. She did not have her corresponding paperwork, so they would not let her, and thus us, in. Fine. OK. Whatever. So our group of seven is out front of the place discussing where we should go next. The bouncer emerges from this hell hole to tell us our presence is no longer required. To his credit, he snidely added please. Wife tells the guy there is no need to exert his power over us. He calls my wife a bitch. I step up and say do not call my wife a bitch and he shoved me to the ground. I have not been in a physical altercation since age 12. Unbelievable. Avoid like the plague.

***Update**** No giant lobster, no BUENO!!! And I don’t like the barely legal dirty pirate hookers that now frequent this place.
