This place was just what we were looking for. It was so yummy and the staff was extra friendly. They had a lot of options to add to your pizza and I’m so happy they are in the neighborhood. I will be going here again.

I love these kind of create your own pizza places. What I liked about this place: multiple options for pizza crust, the friendly customer service, online ordering, and pretty decent tasting. The cons: I wish they had more options for toppings. I will be back for sure!

Another awesome place for people with dietary restrictions. This will be my go to since social life pizza apparently closed. The pizza is actually better anyway. Super friendly, enthusiastic and helpful employees. We asked for a crust with no oil and they happily obliged. The pizza is probably the best you’ll have from an assembly line type joint. It’s actually a really good quality pizza with a Really light a crispy crust. Tasty! Also, when I checked in I got a buy one pizza get one free offer. And the employees were also outside offering deals to get people to come try the place. Really happy I stopped by.

I visited this place today… I would call it the chipotle of pizza. You get to pick your crust sauce and toppings… the service was fast! And only took about 10 minutes or so to cook my pizza once I had it all assembled. They brought the pizza right out… It was the best pizza that I have had in a long time… And I found the prices to be very affordable! I look forward to going back!

We observed the several month renovation of this corner spot turn into what is now Pizza Studio. So, we’ve been looking forward to trying them out. This is located in a shopping center surrounded by several other eateries and a good amount of parking spots. There are indoor and outdoor seating areas or you can get your order to go. You can even place your order online for pick-up. The staff is very friendly. You can order from their Studio Masterpieces which are their preset pizza creations, alter the preset pizzas to be your own, or create an entirely customized pizza. Don’t be shy to ask them for more of any ingredient since it’s unlimited toppings! First, you select the flavor crust you’d like… they also have a gluten-free option. Hopefully you like thin crust, as that is the only type available. Second, you choose a sauce. Third, you select the type of cheese. Lastly, you can add all the toppings that you desire(veggies, meats, and spices). Keep an eye out for their featured masterpiece as we happened to miss it the first time we went in. We ended up ordering The Beast and did not alter the set ingredients. The crust was nice, thin, and crispy. The amount of ingredients was perfect and the combination was pretty delicious. Stop by and give them a try!

I just tried this place out last night as I was having people over and thought why not get some pies and get a new local review in as well? I did take out and used a BOGO deal coupon I had. So I got 211″ masterpeice pizzas for $ 8.46 with tax. Not bad! Masterpeice pizzas are the pre made signature pies they have on the menu. I got the garden pie and the bbq chicken pie. Both were made right in front of me and then passed through a roller style heater oven. I had both my pizzas in the box and ready to go in 5 – 6 inutes from order. Fast service indeed! Had 3 people ahead of me and even yet still got my food quickly. Service was solid, very kind and very happy to help me out understanding menu and how they work. do note that all military members get 10% off with an ID. This place now being open just under a mile away and having that discount along with what I now know is awesome thin crust personal size pizzas will likely have me back many more time again!

This is a great pizza spot. It’s quick easy and delicious. The concept they developed for producing this service and food is unique compared to any other pizza spots I’ve been to. They deliver great tasting pizza fast which is great if you have a short lunch. The advertising is great they stand by there food and provide samples. This location is Military, Police, & Fire service supporters and on top of the already fair prices they give an additional 10% with proof(valid I’d). I definitely recommend it to my friends.

Very good pizza. Lots of crust options and fresh toppings! Super quick pizza. Friendly customer service and located well on the front of the building. Easy parking which can be a killer here in San Diego. Overall I’ll definitely come back!!!

Cool little shop, ive eaten here a handful of times super fast its like the subway of pizza places. I will say, the few times ive gone in there theyve had at least 4 employees just hanging out taking up tables on laptops in the seating area. Should probably consider moving your managerial duties behind the scenes. Prices are nice for the amount of food, in fact its quite the deal. The Magarita pizza is delicious, and I love that all the food is local and pesticide free. Will continue eating here for sure.

It’s like Chipotle but for pizza lol! I visited about a week ago and I definitely had a great experience. I believe his name was Morris or Maurice, he recommended me to try the tomato sauce with the pesto sauce and oh man he was right! They have about 4⁄5 types of crust you can choose from as well! I tried firecracker and it was delish! Service was quick and convenient especially cause I only have an hour lunch but I’m definitely coming back to this place! Btw top off your pizza with some fresh parsley/cilantro!

New location off Rosecrans St! I love this place! It’s similar to Pieology where you choose your own toppings. However, the hubs and I both prefer the toppings of Pizza Studio better. I also love their crust – the rosemary herb is my favorite. We both love to load up on garlic too! If you visit frequently, it’s worth signing up for their loyalty program. I believe you get a free pizza for every 100 points you accumulate(1 point for every dollar spent). They also have special deals on special days, such as their recent ½ off pizzas on Super Bowl day. Overall, highly recommended!

Definitely check this place out! It’s new, so you expect it to be clean… But every employee that wasn’t currently helping a patron was cleaning and tending to the stores appearance! I love that… They weren’t just standing around, they care to keep it nice! The pizza is great! They have gluten-free crust and lots of other fun options… and it’s delicious! They also have vegan cheese and their meat products are responsible and hormone free… Healthy food, happy people helping you, and tasty food… You can’t ask for more!

Was on my way to Jersey Mikes but saw this new place. Being a small business owner myself I’m always willing to support new places. Fantastic service! Place was spotless(huge deal for me). The restaurant has a fun environs décor. Most importantly the food was excellent. I’m a big fan of pizza. Finally something both traditional yet unique. I will return for sure!

Delicious! A Chipotle style pizza place-pick your toppings and then they bake it in two minutes. I love the gluten free crust and vegan cheese. So many great topping options as well. Friendly staff. I’ll definitely be back.

Good quality inexpensive pizza is what coming out of these ovens at this new Pizza Studio in Loma Portal. I stopped in for lunch and ordered the Sausage and Pepper, but also added meatballs and bacon to the mix on the regular crust for only $ 8.99. The pizza already came with tasty spicy pork sausage and sweet chicken sausage, so the added savory meat balls pieces and bacon, simply turned this pizza into a meat lover’s smörgåsbord. It was a good call and they went very well with the green bell pepper, sliced red Onion, sliced mushrooms and light tomato sauce. The mozzarella was good, but the pizza needed more of it. I think I will ask them to double up on the cheese next time. I do like my cheese. The traditional crust was of the really thin variety and crispy. It had a little bit of softness in the very very middle, but it was mostly a good tasty crunchy crust which held up well to all the ingredients on top. I added a lot of fine grated Parmesan cheese because I like the saltiness and its great cheese flavor. I was glad they offered it. Service was very upbeat and friendly. The employees at the line where you create your pizza all had a good sense a humor and the manager was cordial and helpful. I liked this place.

Game changer indeed! Pizza Studio is clearly redefining fast food pizza and carving a niche in this market. Where else can you get a pizza made in 2 minutes? I’ve never heard of Pizza Studio until I saw a facebook ad promoting the grand opening of Pizza Studio in Point Loma with a special offering of create your own pizza with unlimited toppings for 5 bucks. Pizza studio has other locations with good reviews so I though I’d give this place a try. The term studio suggests a specialized experience like an art or photography studio so I had high hopes for this joint. Pizza Studio is located on the busy street of Rosecrans right at the major intersection with Sports Arena Blvd. The store is located right at the front so it’s hard to miss. Parking is plentiful as the plaza is pretty big. Step inside the shop and marvel at the design, cleanliness, and size. I was confused by the shop’s design as Pizza Studio sounded like fast food and typically fast food pizza joints are small, kind of dirty, and real basic in design. Most stores don’t even offer a sitting area and cater only towards delivery or carryout customers. The environment of this pizza studio in point loma would put many casual dine-in pizza joints to shame. The selling point of pizza studio is a pizza made in 2 minutes so it’s hard to fathom that they would spend so much money to lease such a large location in an expensive area but I guess that’s great for the customer. I made my way up to the line but I did not see any menus. There was a sign with seven recommended pizzas that cost 7.99 which is a dollar less than a custom pizza. I decided to try the custom pizza. The steps are to choose a crust, choose a sauce, choose a cheese, and bombard the pizza with unlimited toppings. The crust here is defined differently than what you would expect as crust does not mean thin, regular, or deep dish style. The only pizza option here is thin or flatbread like and the choices for the crust are offered in 5 different flavors. I opted for the rosemary herb crust. After selecting the crust, the pizza moves along an assembly line of workers who help you customize your pizza starting with the sauce, and proceeding to the veggies and finally the meats. The toppings here are fresh and there were so many of them that it was hard to figure out what is what. I tried to ask the pizza artists what were the toppings that I was not able to figure out but it was so hard to hear them. Noise level in the store played a factor but the staff can speak up more. I also think the design of the ordering station is poor as the large glass separating the customer and staff blocks the sound significantly and leads to poor communication. Pizza studio should add a microphone system like in the banks or liquor store window when the staff communicates with the customer from behind the glass. I found myself asking the pizza artists multiple times to speak up or repeat themselves so this problem definitely delays the ordering process. After I finished customizing my pizza, the second to the last assembly line employee rings me up and puts the pizza on a Turbo Chef High H Conveyor. This appliance is pretty unique and operates like a car wash. The pizza goes in one end and gets pushed through a chamber by a conveyor belt. The pizza is cooked in the chamber and slowly emerges at the other end in its finished form after 2 minutes. That’s an olympic record setting cooking speed in my opinion. The last employee on the assembly line takes my payment and I’m on my way after I get my pizza. My pizza was loaded with an abundance of fresh toppings such as garlic, sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, pineapple, feta cheese, and bacon. I just created this masterpiece out of the blue without any prior thought and I’m happy to say it tasted wonderful. I also tasted slices from other people’s creations and it was yummylicious as well. I did not feel bloated or dehydrated after finishing this pizza which is a great feeling as fast food pizza sometimes makes me want to gorge on water. I can definitely say that the taste of Pizza Studio’s pizza rules the fast food pizza business. What makes it even better is that you can get in and out quickly and eat a scrumptious lunch within that measly 30 minutes lunch that your employer/company restricts you to. Recommendations: Add some TVs for the dine-in people, fix the communication problem as people will get annoyed yelling«what what,“maybe even issue out an order sheet for patrons to create their pizza and check off toppings they want which can reduce the communication problem and make the ordering process proceed faster Pizza studio Point Loma is a work of art but it’s not quite perfect so 4 stars it is!

I have been to Pizza Studios all over southern California, and the ones in San Diego definitely win for best service and friendly attitude. My experience at this location was great! The wait time was quick and the staff are super friendly. All of the ingredients were fresh and I got my pizza spicy, which is always better. I would recommend this Pizza Studio to anyone over the competitors– it was clean, and the people were very nice!

I went during their grand opening celebration and got their $ 5 pizza deal. Pizza Studio is located right next Jersey Mikes and Chipotle. It is on the corner across from Innout. They have plenty of parking in the back and there is a Starbucks nearby. Nice bonus. When I walked in the employees greeted me with a big ‘Welcome to Pizza Studio!’ At the counter you can build your own pizza starting with your crust. They have gluten free($ 2 more), regular, rosemary, firecracker, and flax seed/whole wheat. You can then choose your sauce: Alfredo, BBQ, buffalo, or tomato sauce. For cheese I saw mozzarella and Parmesan. They have tons of veggie options like mushrooms, raw and cooked onions, garlic, artichokes, green and red bell peppers, zucchini, broccoli, kalamata olives, and tomatoes. For meat options they have Italian sausage, meatballs, pepperoni, chicken breast, sweet chicken sausage, ham, and bacon. You can also add ‘powders’ like garlic, chipotle and a few others. It takes about 2 minutes to cook your pizza and then they bring it to you table. My Pizza Creation Rosemary crust, tomato sauce, artichokes, bacon, pepperoni, grilled onions, mozzarella cheese and chopped basil. I noticed a little too late that they also had garlic powder(next time!) The rosemary crust was amazing and it was pretty thin(which I like). The toppings were all flavorful and the basil added a little bit of color to the pizza after it had been cooked. I think the only thing I didn’t like was the tomato sauce because I thought it was a little too sweet and overwhelms the rest of the pizza. Next time I’ll try it with just a small amount of sauce or maybe their Alfredo sauce.
