Excellent, wonderful, amazing, nap inducing grub. I mean, the ribs fall off th… I’m sorry, I fell asleep for a minute! Go eat here!

Had their all you can eat BBQ lunch. Pretty bad. Dry meat, bland sauce. If you’re lucky enough to get some ribs when they bring them out then it’s not to bad but man! Pulled pork and chopped beef was nasty. Their sauce is really bad too. 18.00+ soda. For the same price you can get a killer plate of BBQ from Phill’s BBQ. Why waste your money here for a gimmick.

My company moved away but this was one of my go-to places for lunch on Thur or Fridays! Yummy fresh food and always service with a smile. Often freshly baked cookies passed around by a server for those visiting after their meals were done. Yanna at the register was especially nice one day when they were almost closed but she still went in the back herself, to toss me a fresh Caesar salad. Great staff here and while the buffet is too much food for me many of my co-workers like to get that. The only reason I did not do the 5 star is once in a great while the chicken pieces are a bit dried out– but if you tell them they will replace them right away!

Rotisserie Affair just catered our 70 person company luncheon today. The service was absolutley amazing, starting from the fact that I called last minute to organize this luncheon on Monday and today is Wednesday. Terry was very helpful with getting a menu set for us. When they showed up to cater the event today, all of the staff were super friendly and very accomodating. The food was praised by all, everyone loved the bbq chicken, pulled pork, and beans, it really was delicious. The brownies are scrumptious! I have nothing but great things to say about this company and I look forward to using them again for our company events.

Went here on a whim because this place was within walking distance of the food bank we were volunteering at. What a crazy value for lunch! Several of us opted to get the all you can eat lunch and it was totally worth it. I think it’s about 13 bucks for the lunch, but you are literally getting a plate overflowing with meat each time you visit the buffet. All the staff was very friendly and and especially accommodating our impromptu group of 10. Highlights for me were the pulled pork, cole slaw and«fall off the bone» ribs. I think their main gig here is catering, but when they’re open, it’s absolutely with hitting this place up for lunch.

So we were driving around to catch a bite somewhere but it was all industrial. But lo an behold there was this little Bar B Q joint. We had to park across the street, but it was well worth the inconvenience. We split a ribs lunch meal ant the beans and potatoes were fantastic. The ribs met every expectation and the price was outstanding considering the quantity of food. But the best part was the bend over backwards attitude of each and every server we ran into. All had smiles and were very gracious. One server split our lunch plate without question!!! I will definitely come again if I’m in the area!!!

This review is for their lunch deli, not their catering service. I came here with 6 coworkers on a Friday at 1pm. The staff seemed friendly but ordering our food took a long time. By the time I had gotten to the front of the line, my coworkers who had ordered before me had already gotten their food. To top it off, right as I got to the front of the line, the woman taking my order excused herself and left to go do something else. This was frustrating since I was the only person in line at that point, and she couldn’t even hold on for another two minutes to take my order, especially since all my coworkers were already seated and eating. I stood there awkwardly for a good five minutes before a cook noticed that I hadn’t been served yet, so he took my order. But he didn’t know how to ring me up and had to wait for the original cashier to come back. I ordered iced tea, and neither of them filled up my drink as my drink cup sat on the counter for a good two minutes. There was a miscommunication and I guess both of them thought that the other one was taking care of my drink. I had to awkwardly make eye contact to tell them to fill up my drink as they socialized with other patrons and staff. Not cool. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich with corn on the cob and beans on the side. Price was $ 7.95 + tax. The pulled pork was dry, flavorless, and tasted like it had been sitting out all day. It was oddly pale in color. It came with a cup of bland BBQ sauce that did nothing to save it. I ate about half of it and then quit. The beans were dry too, and the consistency was completely nasty. The corn on the cob was good, and came with butter. That was the highlight of my meal. My coworkers who got ribs commented that they were dry as well– maybe we just showed up at the wrong time, or the food had been sitting out for awhile by the time we got there, but we definitely won’t be coming back. A few hours later I got a huge headache and nausea and ended up incapacitated on my couch on my Friday night. I’m pretty sure what I ate here had something to do with it, since I didn’t eat anything else all day.

Went for the lunch buffet. Food was great, LOTS of meat options. Salad, beans potatoes… All you can eat for $ 12. I was stuffed leaving there. Service was fantastic, no skimping of portions. Carnivores only :)

Holy meat fest! In true non-practicing Catholic-fashion, I ate here for the first time on Good Friday. Totally unintentional I swear. Anyways, I figured I’d already paved my way to hell that a full-on meat smörgåsbord wouldn’t matter. This girl was hungry! I had the buffet and it was good. Pork ribs, tri-tip, pulled pork, beef ribs, you name it, they had it. I had it with the requisite corn on the cob and some bbq beans. I love the guy on the grill, he’s always super sweet and points out what each is so you can choose what you want to pile your plate with. The pretty lady that runs the joint is a sweetheart too… always has a smile on her face and happy to answer any bbq questions you may have. And they cater too. For those that want lighter fare, they offer an awesome chicken caesar salad. They only offer the buffet during certain days so make sure you are aware of their business hours. I couldn’t move after lunch that day but I was happy. And stuffed to the gills. 4 stars!

I’d like to share a picture of all the meat I just ate for just a dozen dollars, but it would be pornographically excessive. I’d like to describe how delicious it was, but I couldn’t do that without using expletives. I’ve never considered installing a vomitorium by any buffet but this one. It’s a good thing I have only a half hour on my lunch break or I’d simply never leave.

I’m just reviewing the lunch BBQ buffet on Thursdays and Fridays. In a nutshell, this is an awesome find, hidden in the large industrial park off Miramar Rd — especially for someone who works in the area. For $ 11-$ 12 you get all you can eat BBQ. There’s a good selection including beef ribs, pork ribs, tri-tip, pulled pork, veggies and salads. The meat is all pretty good particularly the ribs, both beef and pork were tender and moist. I definitely went back to the office in a food coma and happy that I don’t have to drive down to Phils in Pt. Loma anymore for my BBQ fix. Staff is super friendly!

Good place for lunch. $ 6.95 gets you 2 lbs worth of barbecue and sides. Chicken, beef, pulled pork, pork ribs… you get the idea. I believe they are open Tue — Fri for lunch. Thur — Fri are buffet days — I think $ 8.95 for all the barbecue that you can eat. Service is friendly.

I love when businesses care about what their customers think, whether it’s a negative, neutral or positive review. So after my first review I was contacted by the owner Kevin to give Rotisserie Affair another visit. Since he was super nice and showed that he cared, I decided to give it another shot. I didn’t mention when I was gonna pop back in tho. Final verdict: Me & my co-workers are now under a lethargic food coma spell. I can barely keep my eyes open writing this review. I think I still have some beef rib meat stuck in between my teeth, but I am way to sleepy to pick at it… it’s fine where it’s at for now. I may have to diet for the rest of the year. The food was great the second time around. Maybe it was the time of day that we went? The first time we came it was around 1pm. Today we went around 11:30a. I brought my co-workers with me that brought me to this place the first time around, and they even said that the food was way better today than our first initial visit. The rib meat from the beef and pork ribs literally fell off the bone. The European sausage was juicy(and i mean that in a G-rated way). The pot roast was also delish. I also got to try the lemonade/ice tea drink, never had this type of fusion of a drink before, it was very refreshing… really made me feel like i was at a good old fashioned neighborhood BBQ. We tried a bit of everything they had. from chicken to their pulled pork sandwiches and about almost all the side items they had. I even tried their roasted potatoes, and I hate potatoes, BUT these potatoes were pretty darn good. It was seasoned with something, can’t remember, but whatever it was… it was yummy Will def be back, most likely the same time like we went today… when the food is all fresh, hot & ready off the grill I seriously hope I don’t pass gas back at the office… if i do. well then… Compliments to the Chef!

Alright, so Rotisserie Affiar is a catering company. However, at their headquarters they have a diner that is open only Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. What do they serve? A Barbeque Buffet. That’s right, all you can eat for $ 9.99 of baby back ribs, beef ribs, tri-tip, chicken, pulled pork, Italian Sausage, beans, corn rice and about 8 different salads including cole slaw and Caesar’s salad.] But that is not the half of it: It is really good barbecue. The sauce is slightly sweet and slightly spicy. Neither overtakes the meat. The pork ribs are well presented, tender, but not yet«fall off the bone.» I didn’t have the beef ribs. The tri-tip was just a bit oversalted, but rang through with a black pepper tune. Chicken was indescribably moist — crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The sauce renhanced the delicious succulence of the chicken fat and meat. MMMMMMMMMM. The corn was overdone. The rice was nice. Overall, for $ 9.99 all you can eat, this is an excellent value and a tasty meal!

Rotisserie Affair is a small hidden gem for the lunch time working crowd. My team and I had to try out this place after other co-workers insisted we go during their all you can eat weekly special(Thurs/Fri). A mist a business building in an office park, there lies a restaurant serving delicious bbq. For $ 10 a person, you can get all you can eat baby back ribs, tri tip, sausages, pulled pork and more! What a steal! And ironically, once you settle in and start eating, you forget you’re in an office building. It almost feels homey, and the staff is great. We returned to work too lethargic to do anything. We enjoyed our meal and no doubt will be returning again for our bbq cravings during work hours.

On Thursdays and Fridays, they have a $ 10 lunch buffet. This place is not your typical gourmet restaurant. It has more of a backyard/picnic feel to it. With the $ 10, you get your choice of macaroni salad, fruit salad, or caesar salad and you can add a small lemonade, iced tea, or arnold palmer. You then take your plate to the back corner where you’ll see a large cart with all kinds of meat on it. They have someone behind the cart who will serve you whatever you want. The different meats range from pulled pork, sausages, brisket, ribs, chicken, and I hear they will have the seasonal turkey soon. I highly recommend the pulled pork with a side of potatoes since that’s what keeps me going back there. The portions are generous and I can usually only eat 2 plates. The people are nice and it’s very hard to beat the $ 10 price.

I struggled to give this place even two stars, but I think it has potential. I had a BBQ Chicken sandwich that was full of bones. I took a bite and there was at least one bone every time. I’m not talkin’ a small bone, either… I’d say there were about 3 bones in it that were an inch or two long. The chicken was VERY dry — good thing they gave me some BBQ sauce to soak it in. The sauce was pretty good(and I think they make it themselves), but I don’t want to have to use sauce to cover up the taste of my chicken. I also had the baked beans and roasted potatoes. The roasted potatoes had great seasoning on them, but they were dried out… probably from sitting on the grill for too long. The baked beans had no flavor at all… I was expecting some more of that BBQ flavor, but quite surprisingly they didn’t satisfy. I’m wondering if everything was so dry because I didn’t eat until about 1:00PM. Maybe the rush is from 11:00 — 12:30 and I got the left overs. I really want to give them another chance(since it was recommended by friends). I’ll try again soon and see if the timing makes any difference.
