This is a small food court area that seems to be hidden. There is no sign advertising that there is a food court. For a small area, it has a selection of places to choose from. Pizza, Indian, Japanese Bento, Vegan, Korean and a few others. They get really busy right at Noon. I have found that my best bet is to prepare ahead of time and march on through before the noon time rush, otherwise I end up waiting in line for my order to be taken. And then lurk around waiting for the food to be ready. Parking is ample with an open lot and a parking garage. In the same parking area, you can find options like McDonalds, Wich Wich, Starbucks, Jambe Juice, Crepes and the liquor store. It is also a prime spot to people watch during your lunch time. Offers up indoor and outdoor seating.

Right off the 805 freeway exit where Mira Mesa Blvd becomes Sorrento Valley Road. It’s got all the quick check in check out spots a young professional needs. Gas station a little on the pricier side to make the Yuppies feel like yippee I got a paycheck and a title of some sort of importance, Bank of America Atm to withdraw your money and hit the town, Mc Donald’s for quick breakfast, Filet-o-Fish Fridays or Mc Rib, Dentist to help flash those pearly whites to climb up the corporate ladder, Hair Salon to look modern trendy and pick up Hair products to help pick up on a hot co-worker, Liquor store to pick up an adult beverage if that hot co-worker turned you down and you can sulk in your misery w/college buddies over the good old days by toasting to a keg. Jamba Juice to make you convince yourself you are a young healthy yuppie that has a body too sexy for Starbucks next door. A Starbucks to flash at the Jamba Juice Health freaks to tell them simmah down and keep it real. You need some caffeine to jump start your reality check and put in a 8 hr day like everyone else. A Crêpe place to practice your French because Paris is on your bucket list. Salad place, Natural Chicken place, Korean BBQ, Indian and other this and that quick bites one after the other in the food court because that’s better than being at Traffic Court for tickets you didn’t pay because your yuppie luxury car was too sexy to do so. Then there’s a Staples for office supplies in case you forget something you need in your yuppie cubicle and need to pimp it out. Not bad for a little corner in Sorrento Valley right? right

4÷11÷13 Ok, maybe I was a little harsh on Sorrento, aka the Food Court. Since the review I have been back and I realize this is a 4 star in terms of being a food court. It is really good. Phở Station has really nice Bo Luc Lac(Shaken Beef). Bulgogi House has tasty food. Sitar is nice especially if you have a coupon. 4 Stars instead of 3. 3÷12÷2013 The Second Choice. If you get tired of going to the Q… take a nice leisurely stroll down the hill to Sorrento Court.(or as the foodie aficionados like to call it, the Food Court) The great thing about this place is that there are so many choices! You have phở noodles, you can get Korean BBQ/bibimbap, delicious salad… you name it! They’ve got it! AND best of all, they have a wonderful amount of parking. Park in the structure in the summer. You can avoid the sun from scorching you as you enter your car after it has been baking all throughout lunch.
