They gave me the wrong persons sandwich because the two girls working were so disorganized. I noticed when I got back to my work at the other end of Point Loma and tried calling several times to no answer and was unable to leave a voicemail. Another subway had to fix it instead closer to my work.

This was one of the worst subways I have ever been to. They were testing out the temperature of the veggies in front of me while I tried to finish my sandwich. I threw it out when the lady working there said the temperature was too high. YUCK…

I ordered a footlong veggie(w/everything) sandwich on wheat. I got exactly 2 pieces of each veggie on each side. Damn sandwich was all stale bread. Time to switch over to frequent Jersey Mike’s(which is right across the street). Subway is cheapin’ out giving you sandwich fillings! Wth? I ONLY asked for veggies, people? Instead I got stale wheat bread with mustard and some bites that had substance to it. SUBWAYFAIL. Bye bye!

The bread here was so stale that the girl who was making my sandwich ripped the bread in two when she made the sandwich. She did not replace the bread. She just used it. Then, cut my 6 inch sub in two to cover up the rip. I have never had anyone cut a 6 inch sub in two, foot long yes but not the 6 inch. When asked if the bread was old, the workers blamed it on the meatballs that they were soggy and that is why the bread looked old. We go to Subway all the time and the bread does not look like this. The workers here gave off a rude very unpleasant vibe. When they were done with our sandwiches, the guy just left them on the counter without handing them to us. Is that a San Diego thing or are these people just rude? Any way, glad I will not be coming to this Subway again. Our regular Subway is so… much better than this one and with one on each corner, we don’t have to go back. Oh, they also don’t have cilantro, one of my favorites.

I am consistently impressed with the customer service received here. The sandwich artists are always very quick and friendly. I have placed orders here with the Subway app and they are always made well and I can just skip the line and pick them up at the front. Fast, friendly and healthy.

I particularly like this Subway because they are usually super busy, and yet somehow, they move the line through so rapidly and all while offering great customer service too! Sometimes I get flustered and can’t decide if I want to change up my order — they always remain calm and polite while they wait. I’ve never slowed down enough to notice the cleanliness of the place, but it’s never appeared not clean. They too seem to stock plenty of bread and cookies. I don’t visit this Subway as often as others, but only because the parking lot is a madhouse! Lunchtime is a nightmare — In-n-Out, Panda Express, 7 Eleven, and a couple other restaurants provides a cluster mess during lunchtime! However, great service makes a repeat visitor out of me! —— Yes, their sandwiches are very bready, but for a «build your sandwich» type place, what they offer is a great deal! At least 50% of my dining out visits are to Subway. I love the foot long veggie delight on whole wheat. My hubby loves the buffalo chicken on whole wheat, and we keep calories down by skipping the cheese and sauces, just veggies and occasionally mustard. I LOVE that for the meal deal you can skip the chips and have(2) cookies instead! Their cookies are like crack, I don’t know what they put in them or how they make them, but I seriously crave them all the time. You can also fill out the quick survey(listed at the bottom of your receipt) for a free cookie — I do this quite often :) They offer Coke, not crummy Pepsi — hooray!

In my opinion, every Subway has a very distinct smell, which kind of weirds me out. But despite this olfactory oddity, their flatbread footlongs always keep me coming back for more. Stupid $ 5 footlong jingle: 1, Alice: 0. This particular Subway is awesome because: 1. I can come in here after a workout next door and get a nice meal without feeling like I totally negated my workout, given the other options around Gold’s, like the In-N-Out who taunts me with its delicious aroma right as I’m walking into the gym and about to get owned by the dreadmill. 2. I can come in here after a workout looking like I just got into a fight with a sweat monster, and they only judge me with positive comments such as, «You look like you had a good workout today!», or «Have you been working out?», despite the fact that I appear to be a total trainwreck.(At least it’s not from drinking too much, and I’m not wearing last night’s clothes.) 3. Chicken noodle soup! Yes, I can still appreciate Michelin star restaurants and love Subway’s chicken noodle soup. It’s actually pretty tasty. 4. Service has always been good here. They even call me «ma’am» without adding, «…you’re making a scene.»(Just kidding about part of that statement… guess which part. :-P) And there’s just something really satisfying about a man making you a sandwich… a tri-animal sandwich, with bacon.(Just kidding… kind of.)

SUBWAYSANDWICHESGRANDOPENING! Brand new Subway smack dab in the entrance of Glasshouse Square driveway. If you don’t want to wait forever in the drive-thru line at In-&-Out Burgers, you can just pop in here. Sick of Del Taco or crazed from the noise and kids next door at Chuckie E. Cheese-this new Subway is beautiful and quiet! I asked the manager and he said it is the #17,228 Subway in the world. In fact it is truly nice with faux brick wall-papering that look real to me. Lovely faux granite tile flooring and really cool lighting fixtures. I loved the real wood look of the booths and tables and chairs. The Subway employees are wholesome looking and friendly-not ghetto at all! The opening weekend festivities of August 20 and 21 found lots of buy-1-get-1-free offers and clowns, balloons, face-painting and an eat– free-for-90 days contest entry. I wish this new place luck because it is tucked off in a corner but do check it out because the Sports Arena Subway is what I would call a «deluxe Subway.» Plus I really like the new Sun Chips flavor they sold there-Monterrey Jack flavor. Delicious!
