Once you go to Deana for your nails you will be a lifer. She has been doing my nails for about 21 years and I am constantly getting compliments on how beautiful they look and so very natural. Deana is truly «The Best».

I am a licensed cosmetologist who no longer works. I went to many salons before I found Tease. My stylist/​colorist Deanna is fabulous. She listens and gives you just what you want. She is very professional and knowlegeable. Then the biggest bonus was finding my nail technician, Deana. She is thorough, painless, fun, and fabulous. I had given up on getting my nails done because I was forever dissatisfied and in pain from cut cuticles, nailbeds that were ground down to the skin, poor sanitation etc. Deana is at the very top of this profession, very accommodating and has a very loyal and long time following. Do yourself a favor and try this dynamic duo.

Tease Salon Studios is a gem in RPQ. The ladies that call this place home are wonderful to work with and be around. I had the pleasure to call Bekie my «hair girl» and Deana my therapist (aka manicurist) for the past year and a half.
My hair is fine and there is a lot of it. I came to Bekie in 2014 after returning from a deployment with a really bad dye job from a foreign stylist. She was able to lighten my hair from a dark black to my natural deep brown without damaging my hair. She truly listened to what I wanted with my hair. I loved my hair each and every time I went to see her for monthly for root maintenance and trims.
Deana is the best manicurist EVER and a wonderful woman. Her application of gel polish is flawless and they don’t peel!
Unfortunately, I had to move out of state. I miss these ladies dearly and am jealous of those that get to be beautified by them.

I waited six weeks for an appointment with Jeanette due to her awesome reviews on Unilocal.She did not disappoint. My hair has been through so much and had just had a terrible experience at a different salon. I have crazy curly funky brittle and broken hair but Jeanette did a wonderful job with an ombré color. I have my next appointment soon and will be going short and will hopefully be able to get lighter shades in the ombré. This woman is really brilliant. She doesn’t rush and makes you feel really comfortable. The salon itself has a laid back vibe to it which is always nice, especially when salons in San Diego can be pretentious!

Jeanette is amazing!!! My hair looks awesome. She knew just what to do with my blonde highlights! So excited I found her. :)

Before Jeanette/​Tease Salon Studios, I wore my big hair in a bun daily. Very boring and not stylish.
After Jeanette/​Tease Salon Studios, my hair is so manageable! My haircut and style really upgraded my hair. I can wear it down now!
I’m happy and my husband really likes that I’m wearing my hair down again. If only there was a bridge from Hawaii to Jeanette, I would be there for upkeep of my hair.

I found Nancy Ayers in Poway and continued to book appointments after her relocation at Tease Salon Studios, a quaint pleasant location and salon worth the drive. Nancy was highly recommended after searching for months for a hair stylist and colorist as talented as my former/​retired beautician. Nancy first saw me when my hair had lost style, color and condition due to overprocessing. I showed pictures of what I wanted to look like again and explained my competitive/​sport lifestyle and self-​image. Nancy is compassionate with a passion for her work. She researched and took time and energy meeting my needs and expectations and continues to educate me on products, maintenance etc.
Tease Salon is a friendly happy place that makes everyone feel welcomed.
There are amazing colors and styles not only on the stylists but also on the clients. Now I’m one of them, thanks to Nancy, and the recipient of unsolicited public compliments!

I am new to the area and called to make an appointment a week in advance, because this place is appointment only. I got some highlights and a trim and Iove the way it turned out! I had originally made just a haircut appointment, but when I was wanting to color last minuet they were flexible for me. My stylist, Noelle, was very helpful when deciding which direction I should go with my color and I had a nice time chatting with her. I will definitely be back in the future!

Came in about a week ago and got my haircut by Jeanette which I loved so I decided to book a color appointment. During my appointment I showed her a picture of what I wanted. She looked at the pictures looked at my hair and she just suggested what I should not go as dark and more of a natural color. Well my hair came awesome I’m glad she has the expertise to tell me not to go as dark as I wanted. She honesty and knowledge makes her a true expert in her field. Thanks again Jeanette.

First time at Tease and I had the pleasure of meeting Jeanette and having her style my hair. I came in wanting some dimensional color and a cut to freshen up my look. She listened and did a wonderful job. I must add, I have virgin hair (long black Asian hair); have never dyed it, heck, I don’t even use product on it. After 2 hrs of the process; I am so pleased to have chosen this salon. Jeanette made me feel welcome and I left the salon feeling beautiful! I plan on coming back. Thank you.

My first time to Tease and I love my new haircut! Beckie is sweet funny and a great stylist! I grew up in SD and haven’t found a stylist I love and will come back to until NOW! The salon is cute and has a great atmosphere. Beckie took time with my hair and suggested a cut that fits my face and lifestyle. I will be back!

Anne James is a truly gifted stylist and color expert. She is soooo much fun she should charge a cover charge. I have been completely thrilled every time.

I’ve been going to Tease since the day it opened. The owner, Beth, has done a great job creating a relaxing, upscale environment with great stylists.
Jeanette has been my stylist for years, and I truly don’t know what I would ever do if I couldn’t see her! She keeps up on the latest trends, but also knows which ones will work for her clients and ensures that whatever she does to your hair will work for you specifically. I’m so comfortable with her that I come in, sit down, and let her to do whatever she wants and it always turns out fabulous!
I get compliments on my cuts, for sure, but my color is where Jeanette really shines. I’ve never left the salon without getting compliments from someone on my color. Even other stylists who are doing my hair for a wedding or other event have complimented the quality and depth of my color. I’m never disappointed!
She also did a Brazilian blowout for me, and it was amazing.

My stylist I went to for years and years moved out of the country! What’s a girl to DO?! I remembered a girl I knew from High School went to Anne James for her color/​cut/​extensions, so I got her contact info and booked an appt and have been going to her ever since! What I LOVE about Anne is that she presents you with options, but lets you choose. Sounds simple, but I love that it really is my decision what is ultimately done to my hair and she does an amaaazing job with the color AND cut. She is not scissor happy– another thing I love, and my blonde hair is always natural and exactly how I want it! Anne is the besttt. You must book an appt with her– I promise you, you won’t be disappointed. Thanks, Anne! :)

I came to Anne James salon because my sister-​in-​law was getting married and had a hair and makeup test trail with Anne (hair) and Sam (make-​up). She was recommended to us from another bridesmaid (Kelly). Not only did she do a fabulous job at doing all of our hair for the wedding (Sept.14^th) but she did a great color on my hair about two weeks prior to the wedding. Anne is a color perfectionist and explains to you what the color will do. She is train very well by Wella hair products and I love their color line! Anne’s hair cuts are just as great too. All I can say is if your nervous about changing your hair stylist and I know we all are, trust me and the other reviews– Anne James knows hair! I am and will be a returning customer to Anne!
Sam! She did the makeup for the bridal party (not me, I opt out and did my own) my sister-​in-​law Claire looked beautiful and my mom looked great as well. Their makeup came out fresh and neat. I would recommend those two for my wedding or any one else. Great duo! Haha :-p

The Studio «Hairmony» by Anne James is my choice and has been for 15 years. Anne James is an educated hair stylist with the utmost knowledge of the industry. She offers many services including hair extensions in which I wear and have been for the last 4 years now. She is an mazing artist! She also has a deep knowledge and a creative touch with her artistry of Color! If Anne moved to New York City I would pre-​book my flights 1 year out! Have you ever gone to a salon and felt like a movie star when you left, Or your hair looks so good you need to call someone and go out on the town… Well if not your not going to the right place. I have been going to The Tease for over a year now, and I feel like that every time. Anne James truly has a gift from God. Her eye is like no other stylist I have ever been too. Her knowledge and passion for her craft show every time I walk out the door. and a day doesn’t go by without someone commenting on my great cut and color I have. She is so good my husband and sister have become her clients too. Thanks Anne for making me feel so beautiful.

I can’t remember exactly where I found a previous review of this place, but the only stylist I go to is Kati. She’s awesome and even though I should get my checkups more often than I do (speaking of which I’m due for another), it’s nice to know she remembers me regardless of the fact I see her maybe 2 – 3 times a year. =X
Ironically, when I started going here my roommate at the time had mentioned she’d been going to this salon for years (although I forgot the name of her stylist). This place is great though — close to home with a great atmosphere and service. I thought it quite innovative that they have light switches for some stylists for their clients to let them know they’re here. There’s free wifi and complimentary wine, tea and water. =) You can also get your nails done here, but I have yet to try that out. Maybe next time!
