Stopped in a few weeks ago for a tea… what a pleasant surprise. Fantastic baristas, loved the atmosphere and Eddie, the owner, was cool enough to let me place some really great art in there. His space is perfect! I had been in a while ago for a Tipsy Palette event, but didn’t really have a chance to experience the restaurant. Such a great place to get coffee, tea, wine, and food. The dinners are fantastic! I highly recommend this fabulous PB neighborhood place.

My favorite spot in pb to grab a glass of wine in a nicer atmosphere. All the flatbreads are good! Mmm the Brussels sprouts are perfect too

Amy is great! She knows her wines and isn’t shy about recommending them. The food was great, and the ambiance was even better. I can’t believe I this place was a coffee shop 8 hours earlier. Love!!!

Cute spot on Cass Street, right next to The Fishery. I thought this was a coffee shop but walked in last night and boy was I surprised. A few scattered tables as well as a wine bar in the rear of the restaurant. We ordered Lettuce cups and they were delicious, light, but plenty to eat. My husband ordered the meat lovers flatbread and had enough to take some home for leftovers. The staff were friendly and efficient. I will definitely be back.

We love Turquoise Cellars! We enjoy coming there for a drink and a bite — the atmosphere it just perfect. Then we decided to host our rehearsal dinner there for about 35 people, and are so SO glad we did! After a bit of a rocky start, we were contacted by a rockstar event planner working on behalf of Turquoise(Cate!) who was incredible to work with, prompt and totally professional, as well as really nice. They(owners Eddie and Nicole) were very reasonable on the minimum that we had to reach, and worked with us to create the perfect menu and feel. Cate was great at suggesting how to plan and pace the event, starting with the bubbly that was being offered to guests as they were walking into the door, through tray-passed appetizers, buffet-style amazing dinner, and finally delicious desserts. All, of course, accompanied by fantastic wines that we got to try in a tasting event prior to booking with them. Everyone raved about the event afterwards; the feel was just perfect(people seated at small tables as well as mingling cocktail-style, whichever they preferred), the food and wine amazing, and the staff wonderful. The chef(Taylor, I think) is a really friendly guy too — not to mention a great chef! So… bottom line… LOVE the Turquoise, we will be back for dinner soon, and consider it a perfect spot to host a relaxed but sophisticated event for a group any time — we will definitely try to host something else there some time. Keep it up Turquoise and thank you!!!

This is our go to place in San Diego for a few drinks and a small bite to eat. Food is always phenomenal(and reasonably priced) and the staff is super friendly. We rented out the venue for a welcome reception for our wedding and everyone loved it. A must go to when you are in the area!

I absolutely love coming here! During the day it’s a coffee shop which is helpful since I work right behind it and usually need an afternoon pick me up:) but after 5 it becomes a wine bar with amazing food! I really enjoy coming in after a long work day for some vino and amazing flatbread cooked by Chef Taylor– seriously he’s SO good! Last night I ate there with a girlfriend and our server Kelsi was the best! So helpful and friendly. She recommended the Kale Ceasar salad which was delicious and we split a new flatbread that the chef created that my mouth waters just thinking of. Kelsi also recommended really great wine for me and champagne for my friend. She really knows her stuff! Everyone that works there is very friendly. Great experience! I feel like this place is a hidden gem that more people need to try out(especially after 5!)

Too much good stuff to talk about. Came here as a single and enjoyed the smörgåsbord of «try this with this» I’m leaving very happy and full tonight. Thank you ladies for the hospitality and the goat cheesecake.

Great wine. They also have the best cheese board in all of SD. The chef will also come out and explain all the cheese to you. Also the dessert is to die for!!!

Came here with a girlfriend last night for drinks and dinner. Cute décor, great service, food was pretty good. We ordered the frisse salad and rasta flatbread. The salad was AMAZING!!! I had high hopes for the flatbread but i wasn’t a fan. The bread was very hard and crusty, not like a traditional flatbread. It was very large though, and my friend took home the leftovers so it was plenty of food for two. They were hosting a trivia night while we were there too if you’re into that. On Wednesdays they have happy hour all night because of trivia so that’s another perk. We had a red blend which was delish and only $ 5 a glass.

Glad to be writing a good review after trying Turquoise cellars for a second time. Went here with a friend on a Wednesday for dinner. We walked in and were asked if we were joining for trivia, we weren’t but good to know for next time. They have a HH(wine, beer and a few apps) all day on Wednesdays because of trivia! We both ordered the house red for $ 5 a glass. The wine was great. Our waitress was really nice and helpful with recommendations and sharing her favorite items :) We started by ordering the frisée salad which was $ 11. It was a delicious mix of frisée greens, brûléed bucheron cheese which was amazing, thin slices green apples, walnuts and a nice vinaigrette. We also had the rasta flatbread $ 15, which was tasty it came with Gorgonzola, toasted garlic red sauce, arugula and tomatoes. I will say the price of the flatbread is a little higher than similar places in the neighborhood but Turquoise Cellars offers a more intimate setting which I like. Overall I’m glad a gave turquoise cellars a second chance and plan to visit again.

This is a must try spot! Everything was awesome from the wine to the food to the service! Our server Amy was great! We appreciated her helpfulness every time we couldn’t decide. She helped with wine, choosing foods, and she even let us know we could add meat to our flatbread. We got the Rasta with pepperoni and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. The pepperoni had a nice spicy kick to it. We also ordered chicken lettuce cups, olives and a 3 cheese board with 2 added meats. The 4 of us devoured everything in sight! All the plates were pretty small portioned so none of us were overstuffed but our stomachs and tastebuds were completely satisfied. Then for desert we got the coconut crème crêpe option. I don’t remember the exact name but it was last one the menu. If you don’t like sweet desserts, it’s probably not for you but I loved it! Overall, this place was on point! I definitely go again. We also went on trivia night, if you’re into that, I think it’s on Wednesdays.

This place is a gem! Some friends and I came here for a mini bachelorette celebration and it was the perfect location. It’s quaint, charming and pretty mellow, perfect for a little evening out! We made reservations and got a nice spot right next to the window. Our waitress was very nice and made friendly conversation and good recommendations. We split 2 bottles of wine between the 4 of us which was plenty. We also had the 5 cheese board. It was so yummy, but we should have ordered 2! This place is great which fair prices, we will definitely come here again!

Turquoise Cellars is a charming little wine bar north of the main drag in Pacific Beach. Came here for the first time for trivia night. Friends seemed to enjoy the wine. There’s a pretty good tap list for beer drinkers as well. $ 5 for 14 oz. of AleSmith makes me happy. If they keep this up I’ll keep coming back. Felt comfortable. The staff was friendly. A good spot to bring friends or a date.

What a find! Excellent wine selection and not just the normal, predictable choices. They have an eclectic menu selection and great service all around. The wine selection is along the walls and you can browse for yourself to make the perfect choices. They have good wine knowledge and a really nice, hip atmosphere. The night we were there they had a guy singing and playing guitar. Unfortunately they close at 10 pm, so go early and have a nice relaxing meal with a wine that you most likely haven’t tried before. I think the place is a coffee shop during the day. I highly recommend this place.

Went on a Tuesday after work for a happy hour. Was able to find parking on the street right nearby. There was some sort of painting and drinking class going on in the front by the open windows, but they let us grab a seat in the back for drinks! We got htere during happy hour which was a decent price for their house wine or beers! We grabbed a flatbread and it was delicious! Service was friendly and let us sit for a while to catch up! They didn’t have a whole lot of food options(flatbreads, one or two types of sliders and cheese/meat plates), so its more a wine and app place than somewhere you would want to head for dinner… but that’s what we were there for so it was perfect! I would definitely return for a small happy hour!

Another great spot in North PB for a couple craft beers or wine before the start of the night, or just a mellow and nice night out in general. There’s a small little bar stocked with craft taps and bottles, as well as ample seating throughout. When the sun starts to set, this place definitely does not look like a coffee shop! Came in last week with some friends, sat at the bar and was waited on by Katie who was on it. Raphael was also working behind the bar and spot on as well(secret — he likes to go by the name Scott). Somehow these guys have Mammoth Brewing on tap and in bottles too! There’s light apps and plates on the menu with plenty of options for all. Another idea for this place is to stop in to get a quick drink as you wait for your table at The Fishery to be ready or you’re walking to Café Enoteca. Just a suggestion though… Currently they are NOT open on Sunday or Monday.
