I got a Victor’s chicken Greek salad to go. The person taking my order was friendly and explained the difference between the chicken salads to me. The dressing was good, but the salad lacked olives, tomatoes and feta cheese. The chicken was decent, but maybe I should’ve gone with the kabob instead.

I eat here all the time for lunch. The food is fantastic. And the customer service is great. Every time that i go and pick up my order it is ready and the cashier is always very friendly. But the food is just as amazing. I have tried several plates, including the Chicken Shwerma, Spicy and Regular Gyro sandwiches, the Beef and Lamb Gyro plate with Spanakopita, and a few other plates. ALLOFTHEM are delicious and clean eating. Their pita bread is always delicious and warm and fluffy. Ive had pita bread at other places and its stale or not as tasty. Their pita bread is the best. But my ALL time favorite is the RICE. I love the rice they serve it is mouth watering. If you have not tried this place you need to !

What I like about this place is not only the food, but the service. Came in on lunch, ordered online, and something went wrong with the EAT24 app. The lady inside was very concerned, took my order and receipt, and I was walking out in less than 5 minutes. She was very apologetic, but I thanked her anyways. Definitely go the extra mile here to get things done. True customer service.

Service: fast food, fresh food both take out or dine in with outdoor seating available. It’s a small place so expect to possibly wait for a table or take it to go! Price: $ 7 – 10. The single gyro flatbread runs on the lower end and the plates are all around $ 10. Tips: get the plate that comes with a spanikopita! Omg sooooo good! Spinach and feta cheese baked into a filo dough wrapping! Plates come with enough to share! Food: the gyro is very tender! The salad is a Greek salad creamy dressing. The plate comes with 4 slices of pita bread, tatziki sauce and rice pilaf! Oh yeah and the delicious spanikopita!

This place gets really busy during lunch. The service was efficient. I got the shwarma plate, which comes with chicken, garlic aioli(a little too thick to call a sauce), saffron rice, hummus & pita, and salad. The chicken is tasty. Everything else was fine. The plate is plenty of food and the price was at the upper end of what I would say is inexpensive. This place is a-ok., good but not stand out. I would return, I would like to try the gyro.

My sister had mentioned this Greek restaurant and I was craving Mediterranean food. I came in to order the chicken schawerma combo w fries and a salad. The clerk was very friendly and was helpful in making my order just how I liked. I was so hungry and came home to devouring my meal pretty quickly. Very satisfied customer.

Came in on a rainy day to pick up a quick to-go dinner! The restaurant was empty, probably because everyone was cozy at home. Spicy gyro sandwich: I didn’t think it was spicy but apparently it’s something they’re known for. The only thing that really packed a punch in my nostrils was the huge cuts of raw, red onion. I ended up picking them off but I think if they were diced or cut smaller, it would have more potential. Gyro plate: Comes with pita bread, greek salad, rice, and gyro meat that’s made from lamb and beef. I really like the gyro meat here because it wasn’t too salty like most gyro meats around town. The pita bread tastes like it’s from a package but the rice was seasoned well. Personally, I thought that it was a little excessive to have pita bread and rice. Gyro and chicken plate: Same gyro and meal combo as the gyro plate. I didn’t like the chicken though, it was very dry and the marinade was a little sour. All of this cost me a little under $ 30, about the same price as their various greek competitors. Counterintuitively, I think I would only come back on a busy day when maybe the food will taste a bit better(fresher looking gyro, less dry chicken).

Classic Greek café meets modern vibes. This is order at the counter type of café. Tried the chicken shwarma here and it was super tasty. Curry Marinated charbroiled chicken which was by the way just the right teensy tiny bit curry flavored was perfectly put together, hotly wrapped in fresh shwarma and veggies(onions, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles) with home made aoili. The chicken sandwich was just under $ 6 which makes it reasonably priced. It was also very very tasty, tasted fresh and importantly chicken breast was tender and not dry. It take a little while to come out, but that may be testament to their freshness factor. There are some tables inside, and the owner was also working(his picture on the wall). Looking forward to trying more items here.

Being new to RB, we were on the hunt for some inexpensive yet tasty Greek fare. Enter Victor’s Kafe! Having hitched a ride on the hungry girl train, I was hankering for something totally unforgiving to my waistline and ass. Spicy Gyro fries were the answer to my gluttonous stupor and were absolutely delicious! Spicy gyro meat, feta cheese, fries, grilled garlic and mushrooms… oh my! It was a massive amount and after diving in a ¼th of the way, I had to wave the white flag of defeat. They also offer tasty chicken shawarma with greek salad and rice if you are traveling the healthier route. And their lemon chicken soup is a perfect compliment to your meal. Friendly service, reasonably priced and satisfying. I think I’ve found my new Greek go-to-place!

What’s there not to say about victors Greek Café. Great service hands down and great food. Beware of the traffic lunch rush at noon but the wait is still worth it. I went ahead and ordered an off the menu item. I saw the pictures on Unilocal(thank you Unilocalers). I ordered the spicey gyro fries. It’s Shute portion loaded with fries, gyros, peppers, onions, mushrooms, feta cheese and provolone cheese. The gyros are great and I can’t complain. Again I just want to say the service here is great and the staff is amazing!!! Until next time

I really really like this place. The portions are generous, filling, and the food is delicious. I stop by here whenever I need a quick Greek fix, and it helps that this is right by my work. I like to get the #18, gyro and fries, with added feta on the gyro, and the gyro fries, which were really good and reminded me of a Mediterranean spin on carne asada fries. The staff is nice to customers, but the way they interact with each other made me a little uncomfortable during my last visit. The young employees were yelling at each other across the kitchen, and didn’t seem to mind doing that in front of guests, hence the 4 stars.

Viktors is by far the BEST Greek food in San Diego! The pepper chicken pita sandwich is to die for. The chicken is always cooked to perfection and served with the tastiest fries ever. I am a french fry expert and these are amazing, they have just the right amount of salt and seasoning. The pita sandwich comes with fresh lettuce tomatoes and onion and tziakii sauce. The tzaiki sauce is also one of the best in san diego, and believe me, i have been on the lookout. The place is family owned and usually the owner or his family is working and very friendly. Def TRY this place out if you like a good greek option. My only complaint is that they are in RB and Poway and need a location closer to Santee or central San Diego

Went here before the Paul Oakenfold concert at Del Mar. Mostly die to proximity and the wife wanted Greek. It was ok. Nothing overly special, but it wasn’t bad that’s for sure.

For a while, I was not a big fan of Greek food, until I was introduced to this low key spot in this small shopping center in Rancho Bernardo. The first gyro I ever had was from Luna Grill, but idk why it just failed to impress me. Since consuming the spicy gyro here at Victor’s Kafe, I have returned many times filling up my stamp card(10 stamps = free entrée) I recommend the #18 combo(gyro w/fries) ask them to make it spicy and have the fries well done. Their gyros are definitely more on the carnivore side, leaving out the lettuce and barely any tomato in their wrap. They make sure to fill your wrap up with a great amount of meat with grilled onions.

Found this hidden gem from a friend who recommended it. The food here is delicious with very affordable prices! It ranges from $ 4 to $ 10 which is lower than most Greek places. + 2 beef kaboobs w/Greek salad($ 8.95) — The veggies were fresh and paired with a delicious light Greek dressing. The meat was tender and juicy. It could use more flavor but I still enjoyed it because of the quality cut. + Spicy Gyro with Greek salad($ 8.95) — The meat was seasoned so well. It’s not spicy per se but still delicious. I loved how it was extra crispy compared to other places. The gyro pairs well with the salad. I loved how the food came fresh from the grill and kitchen. My boyfriend and I are trying to make healthier food decisions so I can see us coming back more often. He works less than 5 mins away. My favorite place for Greek food so far :)

Was running errands around Rancho Bernardo and randomly found this place on Unilocal.Decided to give it a try. Unfortunately we came about 30 minutes before closing and they said we had to take our food to go. Which is fine but we were starving so we had to rush home to eat it. SETTING: Plentiful of parking spaces. Located in the same plaza as 7 Eleven and Domino’s Pizza. Plentiful of tables and chairs inside. Really love the giant menu board with pictures of each item. Pictures are always a big help in ordering food, especially if you’re not too familiar with greek food. Food items here range from $ 3.95-$ 10. FOOD: + Gyros & Spanakopita Plate $ 9.45 This is basically a plate of rice, lamb meat, pita bread, salad, spanakopita(Spinach and cream cheese pastry) and taziki sauce. I requested to substitute the salad for french fries which they allowed at no extra cost. I also requested the spicy gyro which was not too spicy at all. It was just a nice kick. The french fries were delicious. Thick cut fries with just enough of crispiness. The meat was a little bit scarce but was enough for me to put into the pita bread. There was plentiful of rice and sauce. The taziki sauce seemed a lot more watery compared to most other Greek places that i have been to. Overall, it was good and definitely great for the money’s worth! I would definitely come back here again to try other menu items.

Conveniently located, ample parking and good food. Victor’s café is a small restaurant with about a dozen tables. It’s in the same shopping center as the seven eleven for those of you in the neighborhood. Came here Halloween eve and the place was pretty empty, there were a few carry out orders. Ordered 3 plates of food, a coffee and a cilantro aioli sauce. The menu said $ 0.39, but I was charged $ 0.99 for it. When questioned I was informed the menu board was wrong and they will change it. Ok, let’s see how amazing this sauce is. The food came out and no sauce. When I asked for it I was asked if I wanted to switch the sauce, clearly not realizing I paid for one. The $ 0.99 sauce came out in a standard sauce container, filled ¾ of the way. Most Greek restaurants I’ve been to I’ve never had to pay for sauce, and I see no reason why one tiny container is $ 1. When I asked they did give me another one. The food was good. The salad was fresh and the meat was tender; a tiny bit under spiced for my taste but very good. Had a bite of everyone’s food and everything was good, not amazing. What’s great is that they have a buy 9 plates get the 10th one free card right at the register. 3 star experience totally.

Definitely a solid establishment for lunch, especially since it’s in closer proximity to work than the other location. I ordered the large gyro salad and the portion is just right for the price. The slices gyro meat are sliced thin, but the flavor is there and it wasn’t dry, which I appreciate. I do wish there were onions and more feta cheese on the salad though. Good news is that they have a loyalty card so after every 10 purchases(or something like that) you get something free. That’s definitely a nice perk every now and then. Thanks Jimmy D. for recommending this place for lunch.
