The BEST place to get coffee on campus! Friendly staff and owners. Quick service which is great because us students are always in a hurry. Try their iced mocha! So good.

Typical cold and rainy afternoon where students want a cup of coffee. I was debating if I should spend $ 3.75 for a small vanilla latte at Peet’s and know that it WILL be good, or risk spending $ 3.30 for a small and $ 3.80 for the same drink at Café 101. I felt like making the most out of my change this afternoon so I settled for a medium vanilla latte $ 3.80 at Café 101. It was my first time ordering a medium drink from here so I was a bit surprised as to how hot the drink was. I was content with my purchase till I noticed how bland the latte was when it cools down. This place is seriously a hit or miss. If you come early morning where espresso is fresh, you’ll get a good drink. If you come at 9AM or later, your espresso drink might be bland. =/

This is my favorite place to get breakfast before class and a coffee or a snack anytime of the day. I can only speak for their vegan food, the vegan breads and donuts are all really good. And decently priced. I always pick up some extra pumpkin raisin bread(I’m not sure if its seasonal). Their coffee is ok, similar to peets. They charge for soy in my iced or hot coffee which is kind of strange, other coffee places don’t unless your drink is made with it. I still love this place tho.

Really quick turn around for food! They have okay coffee, but the real star is the BROWNIES. OHMYGOD. My fave brownies in the WORLD.

Price gougers. Wanted to charge me 50 cents for hot water in my own cup. Left a sour, dry taste in my mouth.

Need something to keep you awake in class? Have exams/finals coming up but need a boost of energy? Get something here at Café 101!(Shameless advertisement) Other than the often long lines of students waiting to get the daily morning coffee, I love this place. I always grab a blueberry coffee cake(when I’m lucky its not all taken) and a Matcha Green Tea Latte. Sometimes I also get the Ice Gator with double-shots. It will definitely keep you awake during the day and it tastes really good. You can modify your drink around. The workers here are nice and efficiently fast with your drinks. So, the line may seem long but it goes by pretty fast. Drinks and snacks are inexpensive so it is «broke college student» affordable.

Not a bad place to get breakfast. Their food and coffee menu is decent. Their coffee and food are good for the price. Even it’s hectic with long lines, the cashiers and servers are kind. One time, my cappuccino was ready less than a minute after I ordered it. That’s amazing! On top of that, the location is location is convenient, whether you’re heading to class or rushing to catch that MUNI.

I usually get the Tuxedo or the white chocolate mocha and honestly they are both really good despite many places I go to to try their white mochas. However, I am a debit card user and sadly they have a debt limit of $ 5 which is not that bad but usually I am not in the mood for coffee and a donut(it’s too much sugar for me lol). But the girls that serve you are really nice, and the service is quick and clean! Just watch out for the morning rushes around 8 – 10 the line gets pretty long but other than that it’s a good coffee stop c:

This is my second time getting a drink from here. I’ve seen many people walk around campus with drinks from here and I finally got to try it. The lines are always long but they move really quick. I got the tuxedo mocha and it tastes delicious! I would definitely come back and try something new when I get the chance. The price for their drinks are really great too :)

Love this café. My go-to place on campus. The staff is super friendly, long lines that go by fast. I love my iced double-shot espresso, iced gator and the croissants.

Okay so… I got a medium house coffee. The price was good compared to other places on campus for a medium. However, the cup wasn’t all that«medium». It was about the size of a small drink from McDonald’s. It was scorching hot, just the way I like it. However, the coffee was SOUR and BITTER unfortunately. I had to douse it in cream and sugar to make it taste half decent, and even then, it left a very bitter after taste in my mouth. I will not be coming back. Peet’s Coffee in the library seems to have much better quality coffee and a friendlier staff. I’ll stick to them.

Lattes are decent — the milk is usually not aerated properly so foam can be iffy. They do offer both soy and almond milk so that’s a plus. Brewed coffee is awful. Their pastry selection is great. Croissants, muffins, donuts, loaves, etc. They also serve ice cream. Decent prices — $ 3.00 for a single shot latte, $ 3.50 for a double. Pretty standard. Wouldn’t necessarily be my «go to» coffee shop but it’s a great place to caffeinate on campus.

I study at SF state and this café is on my way to classes. So, its my regular visit. I always carry café mocha with me while I head for the classes in the evening just to make sure that I don’t sleep. They have a nice outdoor setting and an entire crowd is of students. Its like US101, super fast and smooth.

Not the best quality, but it’s decent. The male employees are flirtatious. JANUARY2015. Prices of bagels have gone. Bagel + cream cheese $ 2.25.

Long ass lines at any part of the day besides when they are closed. They got haagen daz ice cram. nuf said… esp in this weather :) They need more flavors though in addition to just the smaller sized pastries on display. Their logo says its 100% organic coffee but something about it makes me doubt it. Im sticking with ice cream until i see something that can concretely identify them as green certified.

At SFSU this is a staple for me. Staff is friendly, fast, and the drinks taste great. The pastries are always fresh and if I need a cheap lunch on the go the cold croissant sandwiches aren’t too bad. After a crazy midterm I also have made it a habit to come here and grab some ice cream!

Busy but friendly staff. Good drinks. The owner pretends not to be the owner and offers students donuts for half the price occasionally! Funny man Their products are generally quick even if there is a line.

Coffee is good better than Peets I come for the chocolate croissants and the hot ham and and cheese croissants. I was addicted the to the ham and cheese croissant for the longest time, everything is decently priced. Get here before the lunch rush, lines do get long.

Turtle Tower Café Sua Da over this place. Coffee: Mediocre and doesn’t really stand out to me. My friend got really sick here and so did I. Never again.
