I was trying scan and email they help me because I don’t know how to do it happy with assistance.

Zero sense of urgency. FedEx usually sucks, this one is as if they gave everyone benzodiazepines. How can the ratio of staff to customers be 2:1 and there still be a 30 minute wait? Seriously…

A very frustrating experience. They haven’t even connected their large scanner to the Internet. In order to scan and send large items, you have to come in with your own flash drive, and then beg them to let you use the large scanner, which they don’t typically let people use for scanning (just copying). Else you’re relegated to the tiny 8.5×11″ scanners that anyone could have in their home. Save your time and sanity — Go to Office Max down the street — They have a full service print shop.

Freddy was very friendly and helpful with assisting me with both business cards and resumes for a career fair. He took his time and made sure not to rush us. He even allowed me to pick up my resume when my business cards were done. Totally coming back here again.

I am a senior citizen, in other words, not very computer savvy, or even fancy copy machine savvy, but every time I go in here I have always been assisted cheerfully and courteously to get done what I needed to be done. Thank you. Today it was Stefan who assisted me.

The WORST customer service I have received from any where ever!!! They don’t look you in tenure and treat you like you’re bothering them. No sense of urgency at all. Terrible. Simply terrible.

This place is right near my apartment and I don’t have a printer, so whenever I need to print something I come use their computers. Half the time one or both of the printers is «out of order.» Usually it’s the black and white printer that is out of order so you have to print your black and white documents on the color printer, and they charge you twice as much for that. They need to implement some way for the system to charge you the black and white printer fee when you are forced to use the color printer even to print something black and white because of the other machine being out of order. Also most of the software is out of date on these computers. Luckily I only use it for printing concert tickets or shipping labels for UPS returns, but be advised if you have an actual project you are planning to work on here, the software is really sad.
Don’t even get me started on shipping. Today I had to ship a couple of small Amazon returns, and they use UPS by default but I had to go to this location to first print my shipping labels. I also had a large heavy package to ship and I figured, hey while I am in here I will ship this thing so I don’t have to carry it with me to UPS which is blocks away. So I used the computer to print my UPS labels and then got in line for the counter with my large package. There were three people ahead of me when I got in line. It took me 25 minutes before I reached the teller. ONE person working the counter, and FIVE people just milling about behind her. Only one of the five people behind her appeared to be actually working on a project. The others were just standing around. So I finally get there, and my item is packaged up and ready to go with the label already filled out. So she processes it and tells me the total is $ 25 and I hand her a hundred dollar bill. She asks me if I have anything smaller, and I tell her no. (I just returned from Vegas, sorry.) So she puts on this pouty face and says, «I don’t know if I have change for this,» and then just looks at me. So I look at her and she looks at me and I look at her and there’s this uncomfortable silence. I’m about to say, «Well I guess you’ll have to ship this free of charge since you don’t have correct change for the legal tender I just gave you,» when she sighs loudly and turns around and walks to the back and through a door. I kid you not she was gone for ten minutes. So she comes back with a stack of change, gives me my receipt, and I finally got to leave. (But seriously what kind of shipping business doesn’t keep even $ 75 in change in the register?) Start to finish from when I got in line with my package (not counting my time on the computers) it took me nearly 40 minutes to ship one thing that was already packaged and ready to go when I walked in. When I left, I walked the few blocks to the UPS store, where there were also people ahead of me in line, but I was IN AND OUT IN THREE MINUTES FLAT. For the exact same service. They had two people working the counter and were incredibly quick and efficient.
Please save yourself some time and use the nearby UPS store instead if all you are doing is shipping something. Trust me. I’ll still have to come here on the rare occasion I need something printed but at least the computers are self-​serve and you don’t have to deal with the slow and inept employees, only the outdated software and constantly out of service printers. I will never use this location again to ship anything.

Why the hate? The folks here are polite and efficient. At most it probably the customers that are annoying other folks. I try to come at off-​peak times and things move here very quickly. I must add, unlike UPS office which are franchised and tend to nickel and dime your every move, this place has free tape, packaging materials (if any is left over in the back) and plenty of other amenities to help get you and your stuff hastily on its way.

CREDIT CARD FRAUD. Several years ago, I came here for document processing. I used a new credit card to pay for the transaction, the one and only purchase ever made on the card up until the incident I’m going to describe. A few days after the transaction, my bank called me with a fraud alert. Being a first-​time credit card fraud victim in another country, having your credit card frozen and trying to find a place to make calls back home to your bank is not cool. Then several weeks ago today, a few years later, more fraud alerts. These criminals had apparently thought it now safe to try and reuse the card again. This time, they made a couple charges totaling in excess of $ 700 before an alert was triggered. I’m glad it’s 2015 and fraud monitoring has improved. I hope this incident won’t make any more reappearances in my life. Traumatized by this business.

I’ve been going to this store since it was a 24-​hour Kinko’s. Back then it offered real services: working machines, affordable printing, fast turnaround. Then FedEx took over, crippled the print business, drove retail shipping costs through the roof, and got rid of all the techie store associates who could troubleshoot just about anything. Now the place is so bad, it’s not even a functioning business anymore.
Want proof? I came in here today with two packages, planning to send both for around $ 40. That’s a hell of a lot to spend on shipping, but I was down for it. I had to print out a one-​page file to go in one of the packages, so I went to one of the computers first.
I was at that computer for more than an hour. I use Google Drive on public computers (jump drives love viruses), but all the browsers on the PC I was using were outdated, and the system didn’t seem to support updates. I tried emailing the file to myself; no luck. The store associate finally told me to send the file to him; he’d print it for free. He also had to refund my futile (and expensive) computer session.
I wasn’t alone: mine was one of a few documents the poor guy had to print out. He was very nice and professional, but he sure wasn’t happy. And why would he be? The only things working in the store were the cash registers.
This FedEx franchise has a lot of problems, but the people (workers and customers) are not to blame. It’s a busy store that’s got a decent staff, but one of the printers is always broken and the other one jams. About half of the copiers and rental PCs (there are no Macs) seem to work. The waits for shipping are long. I can’t figure out why it doesn’t just close its doors and go online-​only. Why pretend you care about retail customers at all, FedEx?
Happy ending for my two packages, though: the Post Office took care of them both, for $ 18. They’ll get to my recipients at the same time FedEx would have delivered them, for less than half the price.

Great service. Go in, and get exactly what you need to get done.
*Tip: send whatever you need printed to Fedex email:
it will be 12 cents instead of .50 plus computer time!

I was a bit reluctant after the negative reviews on Unilocal,but I came anyway because it was on my way elsewhere. My experience couldn’t have been better. They opened the door for me (my arms were full of packages), assisted me to the counter, took my packages in promptly, and gave me a receipt (which I was trying to remember to ask for, but they beat me to it), and all this with a SMILE! I wonder if past negatives were from a prior management???

Had stellar customer service, particularly from Lucretia, and this is coming from a long-​time skeptic of Kinko’s printing services. Really helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. Kudos!

I’ve been here many times for projects, mailing help, and passport photos. The staff is very friendly, helpful and competent.

Before the question even comes out of your mouth, these people are going to say «no.» Have you seen the Chapelle skit on office supply and print places? It’s basically that. They are super eager to tell you that what you want isn’t possible or will cost you extra.

The rudest staff I have encountered at any Fed Ex and impossible to print anything quickly. The computers are old and out of date and both workers watched me struggle with no offer to assist.

Nice staff and got the job done. It took a little longer than expected to get things printed, but the helpful attitude of the staff made up for it.

Terrible service! there are 3 lines in the store. none are obvious. i stand alone in line… trainee told me that i’ll be right with you. No one in the store; 4 – 5 ppl working… but, please wait?

While it’s true that this location can get busy (as other reviewers have mentioned), my own experience at this location was nothing but positive.
Upon arriving, there were about 6 other people waiting to be helped by around 4 employees. The staff were empathetic to the wait, letting the customers in line know that they would help them as soon as possible. (The people at the counters were requesting more involved tasks, such as creating and printing 500 business cards).
I hadn’t waited more than 5 minutes before an employee from the fax department carried my package over to his computer and processed my delivery.
To be honest, it is just a FedEx, but I don’t think it deserves as low of a rating as people are giving it.

Love this location although it can get really busy with USF students and the like. Love that they have their own parking lot… which as you can guess is also very busy.
I had to scan some building blueprint floor plans for a deal: Marco helped me scan them and download them onto a thumb drive in less than 5 minutes. Cost was very reasonable as well.
I also ship items from their fedex side and have always had good experiences with them.
I highly recommend.
