I know it’s all about being cool and healthy in the Mission’s hip atmosphere, but this place doesn’t cut it for me — it’s overpriced, and every time I walk in, I feel unwelcome. The staff almost never smiles and they don’t seem too interested in running the place at all. I know this goes against the general review trends of this spot, but I have been here at least on three different occasions and have gotten the same experience; the juices are actually tasty, but the price and the service just make this place unpleasant.

Wow! This is amazing, had the granola bowl for breakfast and had them add almond butter. The home made cashew milk is to die for. The mixtures of favors explode in your mouth. Nothing overpowering anything else. Reasonable price of under $ 7 bucks.

Staff was awesome and did a great job customizing a smoothie for me(eliminating the dates and banana and adding coconut meat and mint.) Yum! Salivating just writing this review. Will definitely check out other locations next time I’m in San Fran.

That Cashew Mylk, though. Got my second cleanse, seriously the most tasty juices ever.

Really like the causal vibe if this place. Had the go go trip which tasted like a healthy frappucino in the best way possible. Could taste the vanilla, coffee and sea salt, a beautiful blend of flavors. Also had the acai bowl with protein base, soo good. The few bits of ice that hadn’t been blended all the way was my only dislike. The bowl was delicious and satisfying. They can also personalize based on your requests. Def would go back for these two things alone!

Love the Acai Bowls & all the prepackaged food was super tasty! People complain about the price but the bowl & smoothies can sub as a meal replacement. They are that good & filling. Plus this is SF people, nothing is cheap anymore. And everything they offer is wholesome, organic & cold-pressed. The benefits of those things alone are worth a couple extra bucks. Its all killer, no filler!

Overpriced delicious juice. Good when you are sick and trying to get better. Or just can’t deal w the brat diet anymore. Apparently they are opening a good outpost in Hayes valley too. Excited about that!

The owner of Project Juice reached out to me after my review, which I really appreciated — great customer service! I went back to Project Juice this morning and tried a new smoothie — the Mission Mocha with added protein and it was really delicious. I loved the coffee flavor and little bits of date inside. $ 10 on a smoothie is still a little bit of a splurge for me, but you can tell that they use good ingredients, so I consider this a once-in-a-while morning treat. I will definitely be back!

This place isn’t cheap, but they have amazing things and it’s all organic. I think it’s a fair price for the quality and how health conscious it is. Plus, I think everything is gluten free and dairy free. I love their juices(especially green ginger) and smoothies(especially peace love and kale), plus some of their food has been tasty too. They just added gluten free and dairy free breakfast items such as coconut yogurt with toppings and acai bowls, I can’t wait to try them!

The nut mylks are addicting(especially the Turmeric Mylk). And if you’re a coffee fan, I highly recommend the Get Up and Go. The juices aren’t bad either ;)

Firstly, appreciate that the smoothies are always consistently good, thick and delicious, kudos for that. This particular location is nice because there is seating outside and it’s in the heart of the Mission. As for the smoothies, my favorite hands down is the AB& J which is more like a dessert because of how rich it is. If you want something lighter the Peace love and Kale Smoothie with added almond butter is perfect. Another favorite is the Moonwalker with maca and blueberries. For a proper post workout out smoothie or even a meal replacement I go for thhe buff beatnik Yes, they are expensive, but I would like to believe you get what you pay for and I feel that is the case with PJ! Yum! They also have a wonderful selection of fresh juices and nut milks, love the cashew milk so unique. As for juices you can’t go wrong with any of them in my opinion.

$ 9 juice. Come on now. I’m shocked nobody has opened up a $ 4.50 juice place and get twice as many customers. You can do this at home people, just buy the ingredients and freeze them. And you’d think for $ 9 it would be amazing. Wrong again. This should be going out of business when the bubble pops.

Tried the Marina Greens smoothie w/Chia seeds and loved it! Bright, citrusy & filling. Lots of great smoothie and cold-pressed options!

I ate about it. This juice/food/smoothie shop is my favorite place to go for lunch. Their healthy smoothies are so delicious you would think you are having dessert!

Nice and cozy environment, with a great variety of flavors. I had the sunset beach which includes Cold-Pressed Orange Juice, House-Made Almond Mylk, Cold-Pressed Carrot Juice, Cold-Pressed Turmeric Juice, Cold-Pressed Ginger Juice, Mangoes, Pineapples, Strawberries and it was delicious. It wasn’t too sweet but it gives you a refreshing feeling. Outdoor seating is a plus. Coming back to try more. Nice staff and clean place.

I’m not a believer in juices & shakes as a healthy means of getting your nutrients; fruit, veggies, & fresh foods will nourish the average person just fine without the added sugar & calories contained in one little bottle. But for convenience & taste, juices & shakes are my unhealthy, expensive habit of choice. Not having had breakfast & with a couple hours ahead of us before lunchtime, I knew I’d be a grumpy, shaky mess if I didn’t get something in mah belly. Project Juice’s Almond Cacao Protein Shake, made fresh to order, was the perfect, tasty thing I needed to fill me up. At $ 10.25, I paid through the nose for this convenience. I’ve also tried their Cold Pressed Juice called Swizz Beets(Apple, carrot, beets, cucumber, ginger, lemon) for a «dessert» I could feel good about & even that was loaded with something like 26 grams of sugar(natural sugar, but still sugar nonetheless so be on the lookout if you’re watching your intake.) $ 9.25 a bottle. Bottom line: know what you’re really consuming. Just because something is touted as «healthy,» it may not fit your own definition of «good for you.» Read labels. Knowledge is power! Now pass me a shake!

…waiting for my girl to pick me up I dipped in to grab a smoothie. It’s super sleek inside and the green subway tiles are dope. I got the Love, peace & kale smoothie with bee a pollen boost. The smoothie was well balanced and refreshing. All the ingredients were raw and/or organic. My only gripe is the price. $ 10.75 for a smoothie is a bit steep for me. Be prepared to spend at least $ 8 for a smoothie.

Pretty good juices. Had the berry blaze smoothie, black magic juice and flu shot. The berry blaze smoothie(raw coconut water, bananas, strawberries, acai, raspberries, gogi berries) was pretty good. The flushot(grapefruit, lemon, orange, ginger, cayenne, AF reishi extract, AF echinacea goldenseal extract) was good. The black magic(activated coconut charcoal, alkaline water, lemon, lime, ginger, agave, cayenne) tasted good. The ginger didn’t burn(sometimes I prefer this) and it tasted like a light version of the master cleanse juice.

Great addition to the neighborhood. I still love Sidewalk Juice, but they don’t have juices or raw food meals to go, so that might make PJ my new go-to spot for a quick healthy meal. I’ve tried the Kelp Pad Thai, Tu-No wrap, and Southwestern Burrito and none disappointed(though for those not used to the textures of some raw food preparations it may not be an instant hit). Also sampled the charcoal coconut drink, mint chip shake, and marina green smoothies– all were tasty. I hope they expand their prepared food offerings… I remember similar places in NYC had shelves of amazing salads, wraps, desserts, etc. Prices are high, but that’s consistent among all these juice shops.

The smoothies here are soo good(and healthy)! This location just opened in the Mission district on Valencia St. and they offer their fresh pressed juices(sold in bottles) and SMOOTHIES! It’s apparently the chain’s first«superfood smoothie bar»! :) I was really happy to see a wide range of flavors on the smoothies menu. There some of the flavors I remember seeing were, citrus, berries, coffee/almond milk, green vegetables. My bf and I tried the Berry blaze smoothie and it was very refreshing! The acai and banana flavor stood out the most, but it had lots of other wholesome ingredients in it as well(raspberries, blueberries, and more). The smoothie was thick and packed with fruits, veggies, nuts, and coconut water, nut milks. I was really happy that it didn’t consist of mostly ice like other smoothie joints. They also had a smoothie called«Mission Mocha» and this was a more coffee, creamier smoothie. I will definitely give this a try next time I visit! The smoothies are really delicious! The only complaint would be that it’s a little pricey(~$ 10 for 16oz.). If it were a few dollars cheaper, I could see myself having one pretty frequently. But for now, it’ll be a treat once in a while. * They also have a frequent buyer rewards stamp card! Don’t forget to ask for one!
