Went to their event at Monroe. Amateur hour at all three DJ booths(lame song transitions and pedestrian selections). There were glitches in the transmission; some songs would repeat for a few seconds. A jarring experience best endured, if you really have to, only when incoherently drunk. Loud, thumping music(as long as the speakers are above ear level) is an integral part of the visceral experience when dancing in a club. Your whole body feels it and you dance IN the music. All of this is taken away when you put headphones on, and you feel even more isolated.

One of the most fun nights I have had in a long time! DJs had non-stop great songs.

I went to my first ever Quiet Clubbing event and I loved it! What do i like about it? You don’t come out of the venue with your ears ringing. What else? You can hang out with friends who have different taste in music. Why? There are 3DJ’s spinning and you can choose which channel you want to listen to. The night I was there, there was a hip hop channel, 90’s and EDM Top 40. I actually ended up going back and forth amongst all the channels. You can see what other people are listening to by the colored lights on the headset. You can then congragate with those listening to the same tunes and dance together. Its a great concept and I loved the fact that I can control the volume of the music. I think Quiet Clubbing is not only great for those who love clubbing, but also ok for those who are mellower and don’t want to be around the loud music. You don’t have to go outside or scream to have a conversation. It’s as simple as taking off your headset, i loved it. I was at the event with a big group and we all had a blast. I’ll definitely be going back and really excited to introduce this concept to my friends.
