Friends and I were strolling in Noe Valley the other day after coffee nearby, and came across this clothing boutique along the way. Thomas was very attentive in showing us the collections, including the new vs. previous season. It was a bit confusing figuring out what was on sale; rather than being marked on the tag, we had to ask the salesperson for each item we were interested in. The look of the store is spartan elegance, nicely merchandised but not overly fussy.
The amazing dress shirt I purchased ($ 160) fit like a glove and seemed to already be tailored just for me, made of super-​soft cotton. I was a little disappointed friends were offered more discounts on items than the ones I was looking at, but overall I was pleased by the shopping experience.
On my next visit, I hope they’ll have more non-​merino wool sweaters and more of their cool artisan jackets.

So good. I was actually looking to spend more than I usually do but the salesperson wasn’t pushy at all. Very reasonably priced vs. comparables. Lucky to have this place in Noe.

This store has great suits and the prices are very reasonable. Thomas helped me into 3 suits and I’ve loved each one of them. I’ve always been treated well at Sean and I appreciated the advice Thomas has given me during each visit. For the clothes they are offering it is going to be difficult to find better prices. I wear suits often and I like to look good, well at least feel like I’m looking good in any case. The clothes at Sean fit the bill quite nicely.

The staff here is incredibly snooty and rude which is too bad because this is the kind of store I could easily drop a couple hundred dollars a month.

I would like to give Sean 4 or 5 stars as I like their clothing and have shopped here at Sean for years in NY and other SF locations, but WHAT IS WITH the blond sales guy here.??HOLY S&#$ Incredibly rude. I actually avoid going in if I see he’s working. He has been pushy, insulting and I observed him nearly running over an older couple on the sidewalk of 24^th st a few weeks ago with his scooter. WHEW. All the other men working her are really nice, mellow and professional. Nice clothes and probably the only men’s clothing shop in Noe. Its so unfortunate this guy is keeping the men away.

Rude, rude, horrible customer service. Bought a jacket for my husband for valentines day… The employee assured me I could exchange is for anything in the store if it did not fit. I thought that was fine because I really liked their other clothes and he could get a couple shirts if it didn’t work out. Jacket was too small. One week later I return to exchange it and a different employee won’t take it back because it is «out of season». I just wanted to exchange as I had been promised. I don’t understand why they would risk loosing a new customer that lives on the neighborhood over an exchange. He would not give me the contact info for a superior so I could try to resolve the issue. He said they are all managers… I don’t think so. A manager would not be so careless.

Great selection. The person who regularly works here is incredibly helpful. It is one of my new favorite spots in SF.

Finally made it in here this past weekend after walking by many times. Very cool little store. The selection is pretty sparse, as expected for a boutique-​y store like this, but they make up for lack of quantity with quality. They were just wrapping up their fall/​winter clearance sale, and unfortunately things had been picked over to the point that it was mostly an XL fest. However, I was able to find a very cool sweater for half off, and was also unsurprisingly able to talk myself into a non-​sale item. The salesperson was very helpful, not at all pushy but there when you needed him. Pricey but nice.

Went to Sean Noe Valley this weekend with my husband and loved the beautiful suits, stylish and trendy jackets, casual shirts and luxurious sweaters. We ended-​up buying a new wardrobe and the prices were surprisingly resonable. I’m French, my husband is English. Sean carries European designers that offer sleek designs in beautiful fabrics. There isn’t a ton of choice but what they have is good quality and very well cut. Tom, the sales rep, is super friendly and very helpful. They were out of dress shirts in my husband’s size at this location due to the end of the season but are awaiting the fall collection any day now. Noe Valley was in desperate need of a high-​end clothing store for men and Sean is such a nice addition to the neighborhood. No need to drive all the way to Union Square for a good suit anymore… What a relief! Hopefully this store will attract other such boutiques to our beautiful neighborhood.
