Garlic fries were amazeballs! The super duper burger was good but was not impressive and memorable enough. They do offer an Interesting drink selection. Clean place with good service!

If you’re looking for a fresh, tasty burger, you won’t leave here disappointed. I walked here on my lunch break and was so satisfied. Normally after I eat a hamburger, I feel bloated and stuffed. When I was done grubbin on this yummy burger, I felt nice and full NOT bloated. You can totally feel the difference in meat quality here. I did pay $ 15 after customizing my burger. It was worth it. This is definitely a place i’ll come to again when I treat my tummy to something nice. 2 thumbs up!

This place has opened about a month ago or more but it’s so good in the taste of the food and service. They serve breakfast until 10:30 am after that they’ll give away the morning donuts awesome gesture. If you haven’t already get the chicken sandwich with aioli dressing it is juicy, they’re know for their burgers but the chicken is terrific. The people are nice and friendly, great place in the financial district on Kearney and Pine.

Great place, and I love how they source their beef from sustainable and cruelty-free(well, as cruelty-free as they can get) sources. The service is a tad slow– because the lines are so long! Definitely know your order by the time you get there, and take a delicious bite into their burgers. Don’t forget about those garlic fries too! Those are a must if you decide to visit Super Duper.

Super Duper is my Treat Yourself place. They have this killer breakfast deal where you can a fresh breakfast sandwich with a fresh egg(not those microwaved ones), a mini donut, and a cup of coffee(not just any coffee, four barrel coffee for coffee enthusiast) for only $ 5 dollars! You can upgrade to a large coffee and 3 donuts for $ 7. This deal is just too good to pass up! Breakfast aside, they also have delicious burgers and shakes :) The shakes are delicious and if you’re feeling adventurous, you can get it spiked. My only complaint is that the burgers are really really greasy. I can only handle their mini burger because of the grease. Other than that, great spot for anytime of the day. This location is great but avoid going between 11:30 — 12:30 on weekdays because the lunch crowd is crazy.

My third time trying SDB and each time, I’m always left feeling like I don’t really care to return. The meat patty is reeeally greasy and the fries are nothing spectacular. Even the trio of dips was so-so. The staff at each location has been great, super friendly. Even when they’re about to close in 15 minutes, they’re ready to take our order. I like how there is seating upstairs and downstairs at this location.

No matter which location you go to, the food and service is consistent. This is one of the better chain, fast food joints in the area! I typically get the mini burger(4oz patty) and garlic fries. Yum!

The first few times I ate at Super Duper, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. I would have given it 7 stars if I could. Once the initial euphoria settled down and after eating there dozens of times, it is down to a solid 4. The super duper burger with everything on it and the garlic fries are my go to items and they are great. I do wish there was more burger for the $ 8 you pay for it. This location is nice, has seating upstairs and in the basement and the lines are not too crazy and move fast.

It was kinda getting late for the kids and we needed a quick place a grab a bite to eat. We stumble upon into Super Duper Burgers. It wasn’t busy and we were all hungry from walking around the city plus their burgers looks very tasty. Service was simple and quick. Order at the counter, go grab yourself an open table and wait for them to call on your number. Food: We got the Mini Burger and The Super Duper w/super sauce and cheese. The burgers were actually pretty darn good. Not because we were starving. I mean the patties well season and cook perfectly med rare. Just an all around great burger. Garlic Fries were good. Nothing to brag about.

This rating means a lot, considering the person at the counter made the audacious claim that this would be «the best burger you’ve ever had.» He went on to say, «if it’s not the best, I’ll give you a full refund. But if it is, you have to leave me 5 stars on Unilocal.» This was the wrong thing to say, as I immediately went into pretentious Unilocal snob mode, ready to tear apart anything that went in my mouth… But oh how my attitude changed after the first bite. What a fantastic piece of meat! Hard to say it’s really the best burger I’ve ever had… but it might be the best burger under $ 10 in SF I’ve had. Sorry In-n-Out — this one is just more burger. Especially after I added jalapeño, avocado, grilled onions, and more. Really a treat!

Came here 11÷18÷15 This place is seriously awesome and I’m VERY picky about service and cleanliness. The people at the front were super friendly, but also fast entering my order and easily understood my high maintenance order. The vacant tables were all clean and when it’s your birthday, they really take care of you. Best chocolate shake too especially if you don’t like them too sweet. Manager came by to check on myself and a colleague and was ridiculously friendly. If you’re having a bad day, come here to brighten it.

These burgers sure are super duper! Pricewise, tastewise… just the perfect amount of goodness, and so close to work! Good and bad. haha. Reasonably priced, considering what else you can get for $ 8 in the vicinity. I spend at least $ 14 on a salad sometimes… damn that addiction. Anywho, ample seating! Definitely one of my go tos when the burger craving strikes, or even the ice cream cravings… or garlic fries cravings… :P. I have also tried the breakfast sandwiches here. Surprisingly, even the simple egg and cheese sandwich had just the right amount of seasoning and was flavorful! Typically though, I like getting the mini cheeseburger with caramelized onions, and everything else. And when I’m feeling extra indulgent, I add bacon or a fried egg. Crispy bacon ftw. Those house made pickles are awesome as well. Nom nom nom. The service here from what I’ve experienced has been great! They’re nice enough to ask if you’ve been there before so they can say welcome back! It’s a nice touch. I will see you again soon, when my cravings/drunchies strike. Super Duper to the rescue! :D

All my co-workers had been talking about this so i was like Ok i gotta try this place out. Ive heard it can get pretty busy during peak hours. I came on my lunch at around 2:00 pm and lucky me there was no line! Ordered the Mini Burger! + .50 cents for cheese. A side of fries and a milkshake to satisfy that sweet tooth! Around $ 13 total. The burger was really good. Nice bun too and fresh toppings. French fries were great too had a nice crunch and the milkshake was the best! Ordered a swirl one and it was nice and creamy! Overall its a great burger joint. Good flavors, nice add ons and they even have some brew & wine. Will return to try the veggie burger!

I had only had a Super Duper burger once, a few years ago when visiting SF. Now that I live here, I’d been trying many of the other popular burgers around town. I finally made my way back to Super Duper and was disappointed. It wasn’t bad, but it just wasn’t anything special. At its price point, I think it’s fine when you need a burger fix but there are so many more delicious options around in SF that you should probably seek out something else.

Let me start off by saying that I’ve had Super Duper on multiple occasions from various locations around the city. This location is pretty large on the inside, with pretty exposed brick throughout the whole restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful — especially during the busy lunch hour. Moving on to the food — it’s good… But I’ve had better cheeseburgers in my life. I will say the garlic fries are worth getting. If you need something quick and tasty I would stop in however the food is only a step above fast food.

My friend and I spent a day adventuring around San Francisco and needed a spot to stop for a drink and a snack. We were heading to a cocktail bar I knew of when we passed by Super Duper’s sign advertising ‘free fries with a purchase of beer’(or wine, I think). It was just the deal we hoped for… but we kept passing until we reached the cocktail bar — but it was closed, oh wait duh, it’s still super early in the day. So we made our way back to Super Duper and the too good to be true deal. I ordered a Racer 5IPA(there were only 2 other beer options, this seemed to be the best pick imo) and got the garlic fries for just a $ 0.50 upgrade! Our fries came out fast — with a big pile of garlic and cheese on top! The fries were reeeeeeaaaaaaaallllllyyyyy greasy though. It left a puddle at the bottom of the paper bowl and I had to pass on the fries that were drowning in the oils. They were also kind of cold… but they were still so good for being free! Well, semi-free. We sat upstairs at the window — kinda cool view out into the alleyway with all the other restaurants in it. More seating downstairs — really clean and lots of seating. I’m not sure if the other locations have the free fries deal(please tell me if they do!!!) but it’s an awesome one and I would go out of my way just to come to this one! I haven’t had the burgers at this location yet.

I am a super duper fan of Super Duper Burgers but this certain location performed substandard compared to their other locations. The mini-burger I ordered was really really dry. It didn’t taste juicy like the other burgers I have been accustomed to. Fries were stale too and not appetizing. I am also a huge lemonade fan, so I decided to try out their fresh lemonade w/brown sugar. It was absolutely disgusting and I didn’t finish my drink. I remember when there was only SDB! In the blink of an eye, there’s now there’s six of them in the city. Perhaps Super Duper Burgers is getting too big for its own britches and sacrificing quality control for profits?

After drinking nearby, we were hungry! A certain ramen spot nearby had a huge line, so we all decided on burgers for dinner. It was Tuesday, August 25th around 8:30pm. *Mini burger: 4oz — 1 patty, with super sauce($ 5.50) add Cheese(+$ 0.50) add Bacon(+$ 1) add Roasted portobello(+$ 1) with Everything on it: lettuce, tomato, red onions And Jalapeño peppers, Grilled onions, Pickles *Garlic fries: fresh garlic and 6 month aged cheddar($ 3.25) I love their mini burger. Tender and juicy. I was debating adding an egg to it, but the bacon, cheese and mushroom were actually perfect. I didn’t eat the bun, so maybe next time I should tell them no bun? Not sure if they have a protein style or whatever Super Duper calls it. Make sure to grab some pickles from the condiment bar as they don’t actually put them in the burgers. I’ve always enjoyed their garlic fries. Crispy and garlicky with a little cheesiness. What’s a burger without a beer? A perfect combo, no? I got a Beer on tap($ 5): Tangerine wheat beer, Lost coast brewery, Eureka, CA. It quenched my thirst. One of my friend’s paired his burger with a Super shake($ 5.75): Double chocolate & chips. I didn’t try it, but it looked delish! The service here was awesome, which is why I’m giving them 5 stars. One of our cashiers precisely rattled off burger additions, both paid and free. I was impressed. And he also let us know we qualified for free fries. I don’t think any of my other friends were told this. Super Duper always delivers a solid burger. This location also offers solid service!

I have eaten at several of Super Duper’s locations: Usually with delicious results. Perhaps it is that I usually get the mini, which is a single patty. However getting the super was just a greasy mess. I believe it is from having a very high fat content. Don’t get me wrong I love fat in my burger as it adds the flavor. But… when the whole thing is dripping, slippery, and falling apart… I just didn’t find it appealing or appetizing. The fries were also greasy and limp. Stick with the mini!

Honestly it has been a challenge finding a cool place for my 1,800th review. Though many of you know one of my favorites is a good burger. Therefore my milestone review will be the newest Super Duper burger restaurant in the Financial District. The newest restaurant was previously a Burger King, a taqueria and something else. Hence all three had failed. With the friendly staff helping me on my debut, I have high optimism on this new spot. On my debut, I was still in the restaurant’s Happy Hour zone. The deal is a free order of fries with a brew purchase. From one of three local micro-brews on tap, I ordered a tall glass of Racer-5 Indian Pale Ale(IPA) for $ 5.00. I also ordered the famous Double Cheeseburger for $ 7.00 separately to complete my dinner. I also added an egg topping for an additional $ 1.00. The burger patty is greasier and thicker than the other locations, including the two down on Market Street and Yerba Buena Garden. The fries are also thicker and longer too. The burger and fries tasted well with the Sonoma County brew. Though the closing hours are shorter and earlier than the other location, I think this new Super Duper has found a new home in the Financial District and gained a regular in myself!
