Geisha kiss was the bomb! It was filled with raw tuna and veggies with just the right amount of rice. It wasn’t like a real burrito where it gets stuffed with rice. It was just the perfect amount. Also no condiments needed. Parking and downtown traffic will definitely be the reason why I won’t visit again. There’s a parking lot around the corner so good luck finding streets parking!

Well fir San Francusco it was normal… anywhere else it would immediately go out of business due to ridiculous charges… Wow another SF ripoff… how surprising… NOT!!!

First off, I got the Sumo Crunch and the presentation of the food itself was pretty clean. The colors were vibrant and really popped. When I took a bite, it was great! It had some spice, but was not too overwhelming, and great balance of flavors. After reading the name, Sumo Crunch, I obviously expected more of a crunch however. The ingredients inside were wonderful and an ample amount of crab was given. There wasn’t too much rice and the right amount was given for everything. Some of the rice, unfortunately, did stick to the paper but overall tasted great and lived up to my expectations! I’ll be coming back, eager to try new flavors

This hole in the wall Sushirrito at the Financal District is located in our office building. It is a great concept: sushi in a burrito, made-to-order, hand-held sushi burritos in Asian and Latin flavor combinations. Today our office ordered from this place for our Friday free lunch. I’m a fan of the Salmon Samba, Geisha’s Kiss and my favorite Porkivore: pork belly(ume-adobo style), chicharron, shaved Cabbage, red radish, ginger guac, cilantro and peruvian pepper sauce. I’ve never had any issues with quality and always have fresh, healthy and delicious ingridients. Is it worth the price given the location? Maybe yes, it is in the Financial district of SF. Note that this isnt a sit down restaurant, you fall in line, order and pay and wait a little bit and go.

My co-worker and I decided to go for lunch around 12pm. O-my-goodness, the line was long. 30 mins later, we finally got to order and they give you the food right when you pay. I ordered the Salmon Samba & it was delicious. There was so much flavor going on and the portion is huge.

I finally checked out this busy little hole in the wall across from my office, and was pleasantly surprised that it lived up to the hype. There was already a 20-person line at noon, but it moved quickly and rolls come out only a minute or two after you order. I got the Geisha’s Kiss roll and it was everything you could want from a weekday lunch; fresh, light, delicious, and filling. There is definitely a lot of creative stuff going on here besides just making burrito-sized maki, but at almost $ 14(including tip), it’s just not do-able on a regular basis. However, I’m happy to have tried it out at last and will keep it in mind for when I feel like treating myself.

I was pleasantly surprised that this was more than just sushi in burrito form. Service was super fast(though the line is always looong) and it was also pretty good tasting. However, for the price and take out only, it was pretty overpriced. If I am craving sushi at 2 pm and too lazy to go far then I will come here, like I did.

Try the Salmon Samba! It’s just amazing, a little spicy with the wasabi, it’s very well balanced and the salmon is exquisite! I love that one and I need to try the other ones! The place is small with no seating area, so it’s take out only

I wouldn’t go out of my way to try a sushirrito but it’s a fun concept and nice to have once in awhile. I’m a fan of the Geisha’s Kiss and those crazy nachos. The ingredients always seem quite fresh and I’ve never had any issues with quality. Is it worth the price given the location? Probably not. But like I said, it’s fun and when you’re craving a lot of sushi flavors and you’re in a hurry – a sushirrito really hits the spot.

This is a great sushi lunch fix! I haven’t found a decent Japanese/sushi restaurant in FiDi, but realized I could get my fix at sushirrito. I get the Geisha’s kiss each time because it’s a fresh and generous helping of tuna which tastes really good. The place is literally a hole in the wall but it is sufficient. I’ll usually wait about 20minutes around lunch rush hour. Unless someone might be able to recommend an alternative casual sushi place for lunch around FiDi, I’m happy to continue to go here!

My boss and I are both dealing with food poisoning right now from the nachos and geishas kiss. Ughhhhhh I hate my life right now. Never again sushirrito! Sucks because it’s so yummy.

This place is seriously poppin all the time and is a bit of a walk from work especially when you are starving and just want something fast and close, which is why I never had the chance to come here until a few days ago when I went into the office during lunch and happen to walk pass it on the way. It was roughly around 12:30pm and the line was looped 2 times already. I would say it roughly look around 20 minutes from the wait to actually receiving your order. I ordered the infamous Geisha’s Kiss and it did not disappoint. Just what I needed that day after a rough morning. I love the fresh quality of the fish and the tamago inside but the crunchy stuff I could have done without. Next time I might request for them to take that out and just add more veggies but I would say definitely try it for the first time as is and start customizing afterwards. Overall it wasn’t a terrible wait and I love the concept of a giant sushi roll. Definitely recommend the Geisha’s Kiss!

Real score: 3.5 This place is a literal hole in the wall, with the counter practically right up against the doorway. Ive heard of the long lines so went after the lunch hour rush and only had 3 people in front of me(yay). Tried the Geisha’s Kiss and it wasn’t bad. I was worried that it would be dry without any soy sauce, but that wasn’t an issue. The yellowtail was good. The lotus chips added texture, but(to me) were too dry and crunchy. It was a bit jarring. I can’t say that it was filling though. For $ 12 expect my lunch to sate me. Tl;dr pretty good, but pricey for a light lunch. Ps. I see people complaining about poor service… what are you talking about? This isn’t a sit down place. You walk up, order, wait, and leave. There’s no room for service here so I’m confused. Though it would have been nice if they included napkins in the togo box.

The idea of this place completely turned me off but, I just had to try it. I’m not a fish person at all! So I went with one of the things on yhe menu that didn’t include fish. It was called«The Caballero» and my gosh it was absolutely delish!!! I would eat this again definitely! The price was pretty good too. However, the service, well that’s a different story. The lines were long, which was expected, not a problem. I finally get to the front, I smile and as I’m about to speak, the people behind the counter didn’t bother to look at me or say what can I get you or something! So I waited till they looked at me before I said something, when the finally looked at me the person behind the counter said«are you going to order?» I’m like duh! So i ordered blah blah and as they begin to hand us our food, a person asked for napkins and the employee stuck the napkin holder in front of my face for the other customer to get the napkins themselves! I’m like, um, hello! That’s so rude in my opinion, it’s not polite to reach in front of people that way. Anyway, I still give them a 5 star rating for the food. I’d give the service 1 star. Hopefully you have a better experience.

Long lines, quality isn’t as good as the other one’s in SF/Palo Alto, and service sucks here. I won’t be back to this location for awhile.

SUSHITHESIZEOF A BURRITO. ***HAIRALERT*** Interesting concept but I prefer each item separate… keep sushi as sushi and keep burrito as burrito. It’s FiDi friendly but nothing spectacular — just a sushi the size of a burrito. Prices are averaging around $ 10⁄11 and expect to get full from all the rice in the«sushi/burrito». I tried something different, the Lava Nachos, which is limited as they run out pretty quickly. Arrived early for a small quick moving line and only waited a few minutes for my Lava Nachos. I didn’t think it was worth the $ 8. Expect spicy because the smashed tuna meat is mixed with siracha hot sauce. And half way through my nachos there was a HAIR in my food. Uhm yah, hair lava nachos, something NOT to look forward too. See pictures.

Sushirrito was one of the foods I was most excited to try in San Francisco. How could sushi in burrito form be a bad thing? This particular location is just a stand. Wait in line to order, and pick up your food, no seating available. But there is a park about a block away where you can eat. We got the Satori, Geisha’s Kiss, and Caballero rolls. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. Not really much Mexican flavor in these though. It’s really just a gigantic, uncut sushi roll. The bottom portion isn’t even sealed/wrapped. You’re better off keeping in the wrapper because it falls apart and leaks pretty easy. Still not complaining. Price point is good, especially since some sushi places have rolls that are even more expensive! We also got lava nachos, which are brown rice chips with seaweed, guacamole, and spicy tuna. Good stuff. I dunno why no one has opened a place like this in NYC yet.

After seeing the food trucks roaming about I finally got the opportunity to try this place for lunch. Food: It was definitely an easier way to eat sushi-flavored food than straight up sushi, nagiri, or sashimi, but unfortunately the first half that I ate had a large chunk of salmon and then a bunch of other filling rip the bottom of the paper wrapper and then fall out through the hole, transitioning this experience into a fork-and-knife meal. I was more careful with my second half though, and didn’t experience the same problem. The food was really good, too! There were some great flavors in the sushirrito I ordered(Salmon Samba) but unfortunately the ingredients were not very well distributed. There were huge chunks of salmon here and there, so some bites were entirely salmon and wrapper and others were all filling and no fish. Regardless, I enjoyed most of the experience of eating it! Service: The service was excellent! Although the line was very long, it moved quickly. When it was our turn to order, the staff was friendly and smiling and willing to help with any questions we had. The cashier was also in a jolly mood, which left me leaving with a smile on my face. Definitely one of the better experiences from a fast-food grab and go establishment! Recommendation: I’d definitely show this to others as an odd but good food to try. The amount of food for the money was pretty good, and the fact that they cut it in half when serving makes the meal much easier to eat. The wait was acceptable, the food was good, and the staff was pleasant, so I will probably come back for another meal sometime!

I’ve been a fan of Sushirrito since their first location on New Montgomery and have visited their other locations as they’ve opened. Although each location is a reasonable walk from my job in the FiDi, this one is *literally* across the street from my office. So while my co-workers choose quasi-Mexican burritos at Chipotle, I’ll be going for intentionally inauténtico burritos at Sushirrito! Mayan Dragon: Fried chicken and Japanese curry are two of my favorite foods! Combine that with avocado and jalapeños, two of my favorite vegetables, and we have a winner. The subtlety of the rice, carrots and cabbage help balance out those aforementioned superstars. Sadly, the purple potatoes weren’t noticeable at all… not even sure if they were in the mix. But still, such a nice combination of tastes and textures. Way more filling than regular Japanese sushi, but not as a heavy a Mexican burrito. Diablo Salsa: Starts with that raw tomato flavor, like when you try to make salsa at home in a food processor from fresh tomatoes. But then follows up with a nice habanero kick. There’s already a lot going on in each sushirrito, so dipping into this salsa is a bit overkill. However, I’m totally going to save it for some nachos at home.

I am so excited for this new location. it very small and tiny, but great that its closer to me. love it. Geishas kiss you have to get. And lava nachos are awesome. I always order the same thing Geisha’s kiss. Having trying all of them Geishas is my favorite. Pro Tip: get it with extra lotus chips, for that extra crunchy inside the sushi. The quality of there sashimi is excellent. Salmon Samba — i would prefer this as a sashimi, but the salmon is cooked a bit. its still pretty good, My wife’s fav dish. Satori — good too saucy for my taste, I do like their kona sashimi. But i would rank this tied for 2nd with salmon. Def worth a try. Mayan dragon — Extremely heavy, it looks heavy and tastes heavy. Its so good thou but you cant help feel unhealthy afterwards. Porkivore — I got this only once, also good, but it would rank as my least fav. prob cause I don’t really agree with pork in sushi. Buddha belly — if you are a veg, this is really good, but it didn’t really fill me up as much. Sumo — really good i would recommend this with the shrimp tempura, because without it its just okay, Bonsai salad — ehh, its like tuna sashimi on a bed of lettuce, not a big fan. Lava nachos — Really good! get this if you are sharing with someone, or yourself if you want to be glutenous.
