Venice Pizza

The pizza dough was soft and flavor was okay… Overall eatable, nothing special. It was delivered fast, but I had to reheated it in my oven to get the crust crispier… It was okay in flavor; after all I feel it was a waist of money because it was as good as a Safeway pizza.

The mexican food and salads here are wonderful. I got the chicken burrito and Greek salad (~$ 16 all together) and I received more than enough food for two meals. The delivery team was also responsive and extremely helpful.
This is a neighborhood business, and a good one at that. Let’s support them.

Great for delivery. My go to when I don’t want to go out somewhere to eat. We have ordered many times and not disappointed. Burritos are bomb. Great nachos too.

This place is awesome! It looks small from the outside, but it is actually pretty spacious with tables and seats in the back (which you can reserve for dinner parties, etc). Not only that, but they sell slices for cheap and their personal pizza (4 slices) is a straight steal for only $ 5. It can’t get any better than that.
I’ve frequent this place and by now, the owners know me and they know my order. They have always taken care of me, so don’t be afraid to get your foot in this door!

Just ordered from this place. The garlic bread is gross it was burnt and it was on a hotdog bun WTF? The pizza was alright.

For 12.99 the portion size for what is essentially cheese filled pasta was incredibly small. There four gum-​ball sized meatballs (albeit served with a sizable portion of pretty good meat sauce) overly filled with breadcrumbs (and sliced garlic to cover up the cardboard taste of the breadcrumb additives.
Given the $ 12.99 cost and their meatball’s hefty breadcrumb percentage, the added garlic bread – while tasty – could have been at least as large (and thick) as the 6″ Subway meatball sub (which at Subway offers 9 — 10 real meat equally sized all meat meatballs) –for HALF of Venice’s cost (albeit without the not-​too-​filling, but relatively tasty – six or seven cheese filled raviolis.) $ 6.99 plus $ 1.50 — $ 2.00 delivery tip about equals a small 5″-6″ roll, jar of marina/​meat sauce and small microwavable package of cheese ravioli at TraderJoes.
Delivery was polite and timely.
In four years this is my first poor review – anywhere. Money is so much more hard earned and/​or received these days than in my several decades memory.

Disclaimer– I’ve never had their pizza. This is based on nacho and burger deliveries only.
I’ve ordered maybe 5 – 10 times for delivery in the Amazon-​Crocker area and don’t recall any introvert delivery times. I have had a few surprisingly short delivery times. How the hell they took, made, and delivered my order in 25 minutes is beyond me. Nothing was premade *shrugs* no complaints.
As for the food– these nachos are strange. It’s more of a taco cluster. No gooey nacho cheese, but the shredded varieties. It’s always super fresh and made when ordered so the chips are all crunchy despite SC/​Guac. Really good. Totally not what I wanted or expected the first time I ordered, but I really like it! The burger and fries are nothing to write home about on the grand scale of things. You should order the fries crispy or they’ll come soft. The burger is really big. Fresh bread, veggies, seemingly a frozen patty. Not bad. Not great… Until you compare it to other delivery burgers in the area. It’s by far the best there. Easily.
All in all, best delivery for these items in the area. I wouldn’t go in person, as there are better in person options though.

Love to give five stars but not based on only one order. Just got their new menu and was in the mood to try the mexican food side — great carne asada burrito, good salsa, mild if you ask for it, and super fast delivery. They are definitely one of my go-​to delivery restaruants now.

Serviceable pizza when you’re really in a bind, but it’s expensive, and the crust tastes like cardboard. 2 large pizzas and a side of chicken wings for over $ 50 with tax. That’s a little too much. The meat combo and veggie combo pizzas were decent? Meat combo was pretty stacked (even though ham was the main ingredient), but veggie combo was basically just a bunch of olives and a smattering of bell peppers and onions. Neither one was anything to write home about. Pizzas don’t fall apart when you separate the slices, and owners are pretty nice people, but I would probably go elsewhere next time. Chicken wings tasted like they were double-​fried though, so that was nice. Place is pretty dead most of the time.

This is my second time and my last time ordering from Venice pizza. I ordered a double pepperoni pizza and oh boy they really skimped on the pepperoni. 1 slice of pizza with 2 to 3 pieces of pepperoni is a double pepperoni pizza?

Fast delivery good pizza. They forgot my salad and the tiramisu cake had frost bite on it.

I ordered a small Mexican weekend pizza from Venice pizza and it took nearly 2 hours for it to arrive to my house when I live 2 miles away. The estimated time of delivery was 820pm. When the pizza still wasn’t at my house by 840pm I gave the restaurant a call and they said my pie would be at my house in 5 minutes. The pizza still hadn’t arrived at my house by almost 9 so we called again and they said the pizza would be delivered in 12 minutes ago even though they said it’d be delivered in 5 minutes 15 minutes prior. It wasn’t until 910pm that the pizza got to my house. To top it off the pizza wasn’t even hot when it arrived.
I ended up being an hour late to my own birthday party. Venice pizza will not be getting my order ever again.

Venice Piazza has become my go to for pizza. The delivery is always ridiculously fast and friendly! But, even more importantly, the pizza is absolutely incredible. I almost always order the Casablanca pizza because it is that addicting and delicious, but all of their options are amazing and I have never been disappointed. It is hard to find a fantastic pizza joint in our neighborhood, but search no further… you have found the best pizza in the area!!!

Ordered a medium pizza with sausages and pineapples. Received a code for either a free salad or a free garlic bread option. I opted for garlic bread. It’s funny how when I opened the garlic bread, it was made from hot dog buns lol!!! Literally: lightly toasted hot dog buns with garlic butter. The pizza itself was relatively cheap, $ 16. The order took 45 min to deliver. It wasn’t the best, it wasn’t the worse. My university’s pizza was definitely better which says a lot. If you want gourmet pizza this isn’t the place but if you’re looking for pizza for studying, or just food after drinking then this is the place.

So I order two prawn burrito’s for dinner around 6:20 pm they told me 30 to 45 mins it was a hour and 20 minutes late. And the burrito was horrible I’m not feeling to good after it I want to throw it up. This place is great for pizza but Mexican food no go.

Venice Pizza has become my go to place for pizza. I’ve served their pies to locals and out of town guests including an Italian and and have had nothing but compliments on the food. Delivery is quick and the staff always friendly. Problems are resolved quickly. A good place.

In the recent past, I’ve been ordering from Venice Pizza multiple times per month. They were quick, convenient, and the food was decent. Somehow that’s all changed, and after today, they’ve officially been blacklisted from my house. It seems the past few times I’ve ordered, Venice Pizza’s customer service has just gotten worse and worse, either omitting items, screwing up my order or like today misplacing my order entirely which resulted in me canceling after 90 minutes of waiting.
We may not have a ton of food options way out here in Crocker-​Amazon, but for sure there are much better choices than Venice Pizza.

So happy to have found a burger delivery joint! My boyfriend and I were in different moods. I wasn’t on the pizza train so when I saw them on eat24 and checked out the menu. They have plenty of options. I am so happy.
The Burger was perfect! nicely sized, no soggy buns. Probably one of the best I have had!

what can I say… PERFECT! The pizza is my fav thin crust. Delivery is always on time and the food is always fresh and hot!
It is a dream that it’s only 2 blocks away!
The variety of foods is perfect! pizza, fish and chips, salads, etc.
