Lower expectations, pharmacy is consistently understaffed. Staff is kind and the pharmacists are very knowledgeable, friendly and caring. Staff does a great job of remaining calm and helpful even when it is extremely busy.

This Walgreens is bad. It’s not insanely abominable, but it’s bad. Firstly, the neighborhood isn’t ideal. It’s the reason why they close this place at 9pm. The Walgreens that I frequented on 24th and Castro(which I also wrote a review for some time ago) closed at 10pm. But unlike, the Walgreens on 24th and Castro, the customers here are actually racially diverse, which is a good thing for society. The employees there aren’t that much racially different from those on 24th and Castro, which was one of my main gripes about 24th and Castro. One of the worst things about this place is that even the most basic items for me, might not be there. I went there primarily for anti-plaque mouthwash and it wasn’t there. In fact I checked the mouthwash section and it wasn’t fully stocked and as I walked out to leave, the cosmetics section with the topical face wash items and all of that, wasn’t fully stocked either. It looked like more things were off the shelf than on it. And I suspected that about this place, even before I initially visited it months ago, but it’s the closest one that I can go to without catching Muni. It’s frustrating knowing that this store is about two-three times larger than the one on 24th and Castro, and yet the selection at 24th is far more assorted and preferable. If the selection at 24th were in this location, I’d be a lot more enthusiastic about this place. Only go here for the bare generals, if you’re looking for toilet paper or chips or cookies or supplements and you’re not selective in what company or variation of a specific product you want to go with, then this will be sufficient. I’ll have to go somewhere else for that anti-plaque mouthwash. So I gave this location 2 out of 5 stars. Because the neighborhood isn’t ideal, but far more importantly, because the selection here sucks, especially when contrasted against smaller Walgreen stores, I gave this place 2 out of 5 stars. It’s below average, but it’s better than nothing.

We live in a no man’s land when it comes to drug stores, supermarkets, etc. and this is the closest drug store to our home. The good news is that it has a very wide variety of products — food products, beauty products, etc. Lots of organic food, yogurt, etc. They also have a security guard on the premises most days so if you are concerned for your safety that tends to make you feel better. All in all a very clean and well run store.

its the closest full store to my home, only other choices are liquor stores. so I come here when I need something I can’t buy at the liquor store. prices are average super high retail markup, yet when I need it I’ll buy it. lol

This is the Walgreen’s I go to when I have postal transactions I need to take care at the post office across the street from here. I like the fact that there is a parking lot here for the customers. Not a lot of Walgreen’s locations will have this amenity available for their customers. The staff here seems very nice and the security guards are nice as well. The items looks well stocked and the customer service here is good. Wait, is there only one security guard on duty or are there several security guards? With a security guard on premises, customers coming here feel safer. Some customers just come and go so you don’t really need to worry about finding a spot to park you car! There are stops for the T-Third Street and the 54 Felton nearby so it is also conveniently accessible by public transportation!

Thot i would switch my rx here from 24th st in the mission. At least this location has a security guard in the parking lot. Still, this is where the aimless broken gather.

Walgreens, a regular store that sells foods, school supplies, beauty care, and mostly known as a drug store. They have their own pharmacy and over the counter medicines that they sell so you can get better! I came here to pick up my prescriptions and got in and out in no time. The first time I came here to do my prescription, they asked me if I wanted to add my credit card on file which will do «express pay» which means they store your credit card in the system and when you pick up your medicine you don’t need to give them your card, except to verify yourself with full address. The line was not long at all; the staffs here are friendly and nice and are glad to help you find what you are looking for. This place is not in the safest neighborhood, but several blocks away are the police station. I suggest going with a friend or two because of this location. –Parking– Parking is usually available as they have their own parking lot.

Eugy hurt himself doing manly work. *grunt* That’s right folks. He actually does work. *sometimes* So yeah. He hurt himself. Got a really bad boo boo. What kind of boo boo you ask? He got a few splinters in his thumb. Aww… So he asked me to run to Walgreens for some tweezers. Sure thing babe. Drive over. Private lot. Helpful customer service. Easy access. But beware of the bum asking for money and the guy trying to sell you some stinky incense in the parking lot.

Clean, well-lit and not so scary for 3rd Street. They’re open until 9pm and have the standard drug store stuff and a mellow vibe. Lots of parking and across from a post office.
